Been here for a while and finally took the time to sit down and write a review. Came here 2 – 3 times and ordered the salmon/chicken teriyaki combo. Standard taste for a teriyaki dish, but that is the taste I was expecting. Came here with some friends and they agreed that it tasted well. Price is cheap, quantity was fulfilling, and food tastes good. My friends and I also ordered several sushi rolls, specifically the spicy tuna/salmon roll and a spicy snow crab hand roll. We enjoyed it and will probably order it again. Overall, we will be back many more times in the future. As long as you’re not expecting five star restaurant level delicacies, I recommend this place.

I order from here because it’s the closest sushi to my home. Taste wise, I enjoy the sushi, specifically the California and salmon avocado roll. I also order the steamed dumplings which sometimes are watery sometimes they aren’t. The fried green tea ice cream is usually delicious no matter what. The beef and house special lo mein aren’t bad either. So overall, I do like the food. Once when I gave the delivery man no tip years ago he put his foot between the door so i couldn’t close it and yelled at me, even though as a 16 year old back then I had no more money to give him a tip and it made me feel bad so I went to my piggy bank and pulled out from my college savings a dollar. This hasn’t happened since but I still get nervous when the delivery man comes. One thing I hate on the phone and in person is the main lady who takes care of delivery orders and the waitress. Sometimes it’s another girl who is sweet as candy but most of the time it’s this main one. I swear in the years i have gone i have never heard her say thank you or you’re welcome. I always am polite and smile and say thank you but she is as rude as can be. It makes me really uncomfortable. I wish she could be nicer.

The girl server is inattentive and gives of an aura like she don’t want to serve you. She seem unhappy to be working there. Food is okie, server don’t deserve any tip.

Well the food is pretty good but it took about an hour for my order to come. It was a long wait and I was starving. Also, they forgot to include the salad for our dinner entrees. For that reason I am deducting two stars.

I used to order delivery from here every week, however since I’ve moved a tad further away from the zip code, I haven’t ordered from them in over 9 months. Yeah that long. I was browsing thru Unilocal and they came up. So i figured why not? Anyways. … The lady who answers the phone is rude, should be given proper customer training courses and not sound like an effing hormonal biatch. Onto the food.. Idk if the chef had changed or what, but I ordered tom yum soup that tasted like lemon water w grease. Shrimp w broccoli that just tasted off… didn’t taste like shrimp at all. Thai shrimp fried rice, soggy as can be. Seaweed salad that came shredded & mutilated, wasn’t even able to pick it up w chopsticks. Forgot to mention, I felt so repulsed I literally threw EVERYTHING away. This place has gone down the shitters. Will not be ordering here ever again!!!

I hated Sushi before going to Chopstick, now I simply love it. We ordered the most amazing Mango Rolls ever today, and this is why I’m writing a review. I’ve also enjoyed their Chinese fried rice(more than their Thai, which is too sweet — but that’s just my preference.) Their teriyaki options are also great and their slushy drinks are good, especially mango and passion fruit. I’ve also ordered via Seamless with no issues and the delivery is fast. My only concern is their service. The waitresses are a little bit rude and seem completely uninterested in providing a good service.(Therefore, my 4 star review) On the other hand, the sushi chef is very polite. I recommend the food, the atmosphere is calm and their service is better than any other asian restaurant around the neighborhood.

THEWORST. One, I ordered online with SPECIFIC directions. The delivery guy got lost and I received a random phone call from a guy who, when I picked up and said hello, said«WHOISTHIS?»(The delivery guy gave a random stranger my number to call me and find out where I was) and then after ANOTHER20MINUTES the delivery guy had the nerve to yell at me for getting lost. Um, DIRECTIONSAREWRITTENFOR A REASON. On top of it all, the food was cold and so bland and tasteless I ended up throwing it out after a few bites. Never again. There are SOMANY better Chinese places in the neighborhood.

I order food from this place yesterday; the lady fucking rude. The food was all that good. I hope they close down this place. The miso soup tasted like hot water with color and chicken broccoli taste like left over from 5 day ago. Unilocal should remove the ads. I want to give them negative 5 instead!

I places my order through which was super easy. I then tried logging in and couldn’t for some reason to check my order and suddenly freaked because it was 5 minutes till we broke our fast. I called to double check and the lady on the phone was friendly and said our order was on the way. I order coconut soup(friggin yum!), calamari salad(yum!), mango chicken which was very light and delicious, ton yun goong which was so mouth watering, I loved the spicyness to it from the ginger. Chicken eggplant which I was nervous upon ordering not knowing how the eggplant was cooked but it was fantastic! Shrimp fried rice was phenomenal to say the least. 2 salmon sashimi which was good but I prefer them cut a little thicker like sake sushi spoils us. A spicy crab roll that was hand rolled which was really yummy and they have us a free Cali roll. With all that being said as much as I love sake sushi and now trying this place, I’ll be switching over to Chopstick. They have more to offer with having Japanese, Chinese, and Thai.

Review is for lunchtime Chinese pickup: Food was hot when I picked it up, hot and sour soup was really very good, and the beef w/garlic sauce had crispy vegetables in it. Certainly better than most Chinese takeout, albeit, just a bit on the greasy side. The restaurant itself looked clean and staff were friendly. I’m not sure about the thai or sushi options, but the Chinese is worth ordering again. (Prices charged and listed on my receipt matched menu listings, which were pretty standard. Some great lunch deals though).

Overall the food was pretty good. Atmosphere was okay but the seats had duct tape on it. The service was good and out waiter was attentive to clearing dishes and refilling tea as needed. On to the sushi… For the most part the sushi was good. Although interestingly smaller than usual, they didn’t skimp on flavor. Varieties were typical of most sushi places though they did have a unique non rice cucumber sushi which was very refreshing. Another nice aspect was how they brought out the sushi in groups and with time in between so as not to crowd the table. Price was okay for what you get. Wish there was dessert and drinks included but for the price, it’s understandable. Went on a Tuesday night for their buffet which cost about 23.75 before taxes.

This place has become my go to restaurant for takeout. I wish they still had their A rating but I can deal. The food still tastes great and the service still friendly! I love the vegetable tempura, yakisoba, and volcano rolls. Their Chinese style omelet with shrimp is also pretty yummy.

I live within two blocks of Chopstick. Aside from the 24 hour taco spot and the arepa cart, it is the only place open past 10 pm. And so, I find myself here frequently because it’s convenient. But, also because it’s good and fairly priced. They used to be called Shin-ba but re-opened as Chopstick after making a few adjustments to the menu. Instead of only sushi, they now have quite a few Thai and Chinese offerings. I’ve ordered off all three sections of the menu and can vouch for them, they’re legit. They have take out specials that are a decent value: salmon terriyaki over rice or katsu over rice for only $ 6.50. The sushi doesn’t disappoint either. The food on their Chinese menu is highly superior to the neighborhood take-out Chinese spots. The meats are of a far higher quality and the seafood is more substantial in size and in quantity. The shrimp with scrambled egg in particular is one of my go-to dishes. I think that most of their business comes from take-out orders or delivery because there’s hardly ever anybody dining in the restaurant. It’s a shame too, because the place is decorated really nicely. And when I order take out, they bring me green tea to sip while I wait. :D
