Village Inn

Hmmm I suppose it’s a nice little place. So we ordered and shortly after a waitress brought the food out to us. Then she realized that she forgot my husbands Crêpe, chorizo and hash browns and went back to get it and brought out a measly spoonful of chorizo in a bowl. I doubt we’ll eat there again.

The chicken Parmesan was not good at all. There was a lot of very bland pasta and a small fried chicken cutlet. It is not worth the 10 dollar price tag. The all you can eat menudo however is good as long as your server is attentive. Ours was not and only checked up on my table twice. I would come back but only for the menudo.

I will not be returning to a Village inn for a very long time after this unfortunate experience. The silverware was covered in food bits, my hot cocoa was overfilled and brought to me anyway and I had to clean it all up with napkins to even drink it and the cherry on top for the experience is when my husbands ala mode caramel apple pie was brought out with server hair galore. We didn’t complain up until that point. The manager was called over and he offered to remake the pie. Half an hour later it came and it wasn’t a busy night. We went to pay and came to find we were still charged for the special ingredient dessert. In the area with tip I gave them the tip of «get better customer service» and the cashier had the audacity to laugh. Needless to say it was a very horrible experience.

I always come to village inn to study and do homework, but i always go to the edge mere and joe battle location where they provide excellent customer service. I’ve attended this location before and was not too satisfied with the service, but in this case i was much closer to this location so i came here. I have honestly never waited over 20 min to be greeted! As someone with over 3 years of serving experience, i was really disappointed and upset. It bothered me so much, which is why i am writing this review as i am sitting here before i begin studying. i had to get the managers attention in order for her to notice i had not been greeted nor served. She apologized and suggested I get anything on the menu and it would be on the house. Although that was a nice gesture for the incident, i was still expecting my server, whoever it is, to come apologize as well and attend me, but i don’t even have a server. the manager is the one who took my order and who is currently attending to me. Definitely not satisfied with the service here, next time i will make the drive to another location.

I always love village inn so when this one opened closer to my casa, I was ecstatic. they modeled it retro and kept it modern, but more importantly, the food is still as classy! I always order the ultimate skillet and ask for a fried jalapeño on the side!

Open late so hitting here after show wise sounded like a good decision. I did this pick 3 things for 7.69 and I got filled right up. The food wasn’t anything super crazy but it did the work and I didn’t feel sick so it’s a good day in my book. Service was SO slow though so bring some friends or you’ll want to bash your head into the table because of boredom. The staff was nice when they were there though.

We decided to try this place instead of the usual cafés. I always eat Menudo on the weekend and was disappointed when my husband wanted something different. Anyway, we come to Village Inn and right away were seated and drink order taken. The Waitress was nice and explained what ment what in the menu. And they also had menudo! Huge plus and it was amazing. I received more for my price. Not to mention the pie was amazing. Overall, this place provided well quality food as well as service. Recommend for families and everyone.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. First the waitress got our order totally wrong. I ordered an omellette and the egg wasn’t full cooked. I also ordered a slice of lemon pie and there was a hair in there. The put a ham on my late I didn’t order and the waitress came with a plate and fork to take it off my plate right in front of me! The service was awful and disorganized. Not coming back!

Been to this place a couple of times and really enjoyed the food. The price is also reasonable. I took my mom and baby brother and spent less then 30 $ and had left overs. Our server Andres was great. I ordered the Monte Cristo with onion rings not a great combo but I enjoy the onion ring there. Mom ordered the chicken ranch burger which was also very good and baby brother has the quesadilla dunker which seamed to look nice. Place looks nice and clean will come back.

Had the ultimate skillet and wife had the Santa Fe chicken skillet. Everything was excellent and brought out to us quickly. The staff was very courteous.
