Big fan of their Mango Cake and their Chocolate Cake! Both are equally delicious and delightful. The cake itself is like of a sponge cake, baked always perfectly. Not too sweet, but hits the sweet tooth! They make it fresh per order, so call ahead before purchasing!

My mom and I came here for some snacks and I saw that they had bubble tea. So I tried their bubble tea and it was pretty good.

I’ve been coming here since it opened for their yummy cupcakes(me and my mom’s favorite). Recently I had a chance to order a cake for my son’s birthday, so of course I stopped by. They happened to have some cake samples, and I tried the carrot cake. Not many asian bakeries make a decent carrot cake, but this one was moist and flavorful. They were very flexible about the design and decorations and the price was very reasonable. Many people commented at his birthday on how good the cake was, so I was pretty pleased. The thing to remember about this place is that their cakes are all lower sugar. That really fits my palate because I find a lot of other bakeries put too much sugar in their goods. If you’re looking for something more savory and less sugary, this place is the way to go.

Came here with my mom a last month and got several the baked goods. Pretty good, reasonable prices, okay customer service, and super close to my house. I went back yesterday(sat., 4⁄2) at 8:15am with the intention of picking some egg tarts for work. Let’s just say I drove off with nothing because they were still closed, no signs of anyone inside and no breads displayed. If your signs says you open at 8am to 8pm, TIP: please honor your business hours. Left with a UGHHHH, SERIOUSLY? feeling.

Hmm… Went after work and looking for a snack but there wasn’t much left. I know the prices are good but they gotta stock up for the evening crowd… like after work. Especially the egg custard… those are really good here but they always just have a few. To Mom’s Bakery & Tea House — Make enough for people after work. And make enough egg custards please. Thank you!

Loved the matcha green tea boba! I asked for half sugar. Which sometimes boba places won’t do that. But this place did! The guy up front was super friendly and welcoming. Next time I will try some of the breads. I love it here!

Nice to have a Chinese bakery in El Monte. They did not have a big selection of breads but they tasted fresh and were good. It’s located in the same strip mall as BMC phở and a buffet place.

Very nice place to stop by for a quick drink or pastry. Also a great place to sit down and just chill. Free wifi and lots of deals. Their fries are the best around. Don’t forget their expansive drink menu, where you can get a different type every time! 5⁄5 awesome place.

Location: In the same plaza as the Great China Buffet and BMC. You can’t miss it! Parking: Shares the parking lot with the rest of the plaza which is plentiful. Street parking is also an option so there’s never a problem. Service: Came around noon and aside from the cashier, the only other people there was a couple. The guy behind the counter was busy fixing up drinks or something and didn’t really pay attention to the customers but whatever, just like a typical Asian bakery you just browse around the few selections they have out. All in all, service was alright. Not spectacular but not horrendous either. Food: I got the hot dog bun, which tasted like how most Asian bakeries make them, nothing special. The tuna and cheese bun was surprisingly soft however I didn’t really taste any cheese. Lastly, the milky custard was better than I expected, unlike most places the custard didn’t taste eggy at all. From what I see, they’re baked freshly as well. Price: Prices are similar to 85° Bakery but if you come now during their grand opening, all the pastries are $ 1! It’s a good deal. :) Note: Aside from pastries, they also have made to order cakes, snacks and drinks. I have yet to try those. Regardless, this shop is a nice edition to the city.

Looks like they barely opened. Not too many items on the shelves, but the choices look good. We got some raisin toast, coconut and wheat toast. They smell heavenly. Will write more when I get home and taste them.
