My favorite comfort food when I’m in East Lansing. My go to is Drunken Noodles with tofu! I’ve had many a tofu cube and there’s something about their tofu that can’t be topped. It’s soft on the outside and juicy on the inside. The spring rolls and wontons are delicious. Takeout is always fast and hot. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. The window bar seats are fun to sit at and people watch. Great casual atmosphere for small groups less than 6 people. Ordering online with in-store pickup is convenient and they validate parking.

While my husband and stepdaughter were attempting to solve some math equations, the niece and I decided to make ourselves useful by picking up dinner. I have no problem admitting that I am absolutely useless when it comes to math, so I was glad to have a reason to leave and not feel like a giant dummy. Parking here is atrocious, so good luck trying to find a meter spot. Your best bet is to just hoof it if you live anywhere semi close. No Thai is one of the few options available for«late» take out, closing at 10pm. We got there around 9:30 and our order was hot and ready to go. I wouldn’t call this my favorite food, but the dishes we ordered were a-ok. i.e. just alright. I ordered vegetarian drunken noodles with tofu, we also had an order of tofu pad thai, chicken pad see u and chicken pad cashew. We all ordered different spice levels, though they were totally off. If you are sensitive to spice you’re better off to order no spice. My stepdaughters«weak» spice(mild) was deemed pretty hot, my medium was like there was no spice, my nieces medium made her sweat and had her nose run and my husbands hot was not even medium. All of this is fine(though annoying) when you don’t mind spice, but if you’re like my stepdaughter whom isn’t a fan, beware. They have a frequent food card(that’s not what they call them, but they probably should), for every ten entrees you purchase you will get one free. Since we racked up four in one go we decided to take them up on it. Pro tip, you can combine points from different cards.

The food is decent, but not really worth it. I would prefer a combo with sides or something for $ 8 and a smaller main food portion. They also charge incorrect fees for using a debit/credit card, so make sure to pay in cash and save your money!!! They don’t tell you about the fees and it is only listed in small writing on the menu.

I eat here all the time. Like, way too much. But only because the service and food is so good! The price of a meal is super reasonable because the portions are so huge and I love that adding carrots and broccoli doesn’t even add an extra charge to my meal. My personal favorite restaurant in East Lansing.

This was our go to non-pizza delivery. However, this most recent order was so horrible we will not be ordering from here again for a very long time. First off, the delivery person must have completely spilled the bag because the sauce from both dishes was spilled all over the entire bag. I got my usual noodle order and my boyfriend got a stir fry. I always get weak sauce and it was so spicy I couldn’t even attempt to eat my noodles. Perhaps this is because all of the sauce was spilled out so only the spicy part remained. However, even if it wasn’t too spicy, it was just so dry and lacking in sauce it was gross anyways. Additionally, my crab wontons were overcooked and burnt on the ends. I’ve literally never had issues like this and it’s extremely disappointing. The food should never have even been delivered in that state.

I ordered drunken noodles(medium) and no Thai fried rice(weak), both with tofu. The food was okay. I didn’t taste much basil in the drunken noodles, and neither dish was very spicy. The drunken noodles didn’t have too many pepper pieces, but there was a good amount of tofu in both dishes. The price was very reasonable for the amount of fried rice($ 8), but I think there could have been more noodles in the drunken noodles($ 9). I did get $.50 off my bill because I paid in cash, which was cool. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was okay tasting, but I probably wouldn’t go back, because I prefer other Thai places.

OMFG! Having recently returned from Thailand on vacation, I can tell you the food is not only original, but it is of very high quality. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, wonderful food. What’s not to like? Eat here, the menu is as diverse as your tastes. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.

No Thai was recommended to me while in East Lansing for a business trip. The portion was good, but the pad Thai didn’t have much flavor beyond the spice. Mediocre food but at a reasonable price point.

I got the potato curry with the yoga flam spice. It had absolutely no flavor. The time before I got the Pad Thai with chicken, still no flavor and I got food poising. DONYEATHERE.

I’m not sure what any of these people who rate this amazing restaurant with anything less than at LEAST3 stars are talking about. I couldn’t disagree more, but hey, to each their own I guess. Also, it is a clean restaurant, so if someone says otherwise I have a feeling they are just whining to whine. Now to the goods– I would travel well out of my way for the potato curry, it is one of the best dishes I have had, and I’m not just saying Thai dishes, it’s one of the best anywhere. Period. I used to get the pad thai, pad thai curry and drunken noodle, but I can’t stop getting the potato curry. I always get tofu, and for my money, it’s the best tofu I have ever had. Their chicken is really good as well, but their tofu is the PERFECT texture, not soggy, not over fried and tough, JUST right. And if you like spicy food, this is your jam(thank me later). If you’re trying to sweat and cry while eating, ask for double dim mak, and make sure you have some time to shower afterward(sounds like it’s bad, but it’s actually so spicy and so good that who even cares, I just wouldn’t get double dim mak for lunch at work). Their spring rolls are decent, my gf likes them, I’m not a big spring roll kinda fan. So, all in all, this restaurant should get 6 or 7 stars, and while I’ve been told at times that it’s not exactly the most AUTHENTIC thai food, I happen to think it is pretty darn close, and it is by FAR the best thai food I have ever had. The employees have always been nice, helpful, and the food is out quickly(unless you go during the week during peak lunch times while the students(ugh) are still in town). If you think this restaurant deserves 1 star, I suggest you go to any of the other chain restaurants whose clueless student employees will surely give you«5-star» service, your«refined» palette will appreciate that. GETTHEPOTATOCURRY. Just keep repeating that in your head over and over until you GETTHEPOTATOCURRY.

I love Thai food and this is my favorite quick place yet. Had the pad Thai with chicken and spicy chicken and rice and it was EXCELLENT. Great prices, nice staff. Every plate that I saw people eating looked like something I’d want to order. Looking forward to visiting my daughter again at MSU so I can go here again.

No Thai is by far the best place in East Lansing to get some Thai food. The staff here are friendly and speedy. I normally get the vegetarian fried rice or the sweet and spicy chicken. The price is rather high for a college town(they charge the same prices you would see in a Chicago town) but the portions of food match the price quite well. I also like the packaging for to-go orders; it’s a quality container great for heating left overs. The spring rolls here are also best in town, however, sometimes I pass on ordering them considering it’s $ 3 for two rolls. I think $ 2 for $ 2 would be more reasonable or even if you could purchase them for $ 1.50 each would be nice. On the down side, I wish this location could take delivery orders in the store or on the phone. They only resort to online delivery orders. It’s a pain because you have to make a profile on their website and fill out this and that. It would be nice if they could just take orders over the phone. I have been to this location over a dozen times in my college career thus far and have yet to be utterly dissapointed.

The Chicken with No Thai Fried Rice is one of my favorite meals in town. The portions are extremely generous. One order can last me for two meals.

Worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Ordered the Pad Thai and Pad Thai Curry and they tasted EXACTLYTHESAME. Even looked the same, although one was supposed to have red curry? Not only that, I’ve never seen Pad Thai look grey and creamy, and taste just as bland. I could hardly taste any curry in the curry version! Plus I ordered it medium spicy, and had to drown it in Sriracha just to get the barest hint of spice. Quickly abandoned the noodles for their satay, which is actually pretty good, so I at least didn’t leave hungry. Also, they were putting chairs up and dragging trash bins while people were still eating… an hour before closing. Come on… I know this is right across campus and they cater to college kids, but this was a little ridiculous.

I reserve my one-stars for places I won’t return to. You had multiple chances. I’d even give you the«most inconsistent restaurant» award if there was one. When I have a hankering for Thai, and don’t want to drive too far, I relied on you for a «decent» approximation of my favorite meals. No more. For starters, how many employees does it take to change a light bulb? Really now, how many to clean the dang place? There are FIVE people standing around — including the one at the register SURFINGTHEWEB — and THERE’S TRASH everywhere. The floor is littered(not just a dropped napkin…), tables are dirty, and NOONE seems to care. There’s no line, only a couple of customers — essentially NOEXCUSE. And, back to that inconsistency problem… YOU’REOUTOFSPROUTS! Which are an integral part of probably ½ of the dishes!!! GOTOKROGER or something. You’re also only frying in nut-contaminated oil for some reason. I’m surprised one of your industrious employees even managed to put up post-it notes about your menu issues today. My last experience was ho-hum. I must have had the rude server mentioned in other reviews. But the food was alright, so I tried again. Sorry, but now YOUBLEWIT!

No Thai! quickly serves up some satisfying Thai dishes at a reasonable price. The most impressive part of No Thai! is the speed at which the dishes come out of the kitchen. Don’t be mislead, its not instant, but its fast for Thai food. The flavors are what I expect and fairly satisfying and portions are generous for the price. I think the entire experience here is satisfying but not really mind blowing or unique. I think the 3.5 stars is very accurate for No Thai!

New Thai place! New Thai place! Okay fine it’s been here like a year but GUESSWHAT I don’t live there anymore so it’s new to me. Mom just told me about it last time I was home so we stopped for a little lunch on a Saturday. There was only a handful of other tables, but I think it was also like 2 pm or something weird. You order at the counter, the staff is young and friendly. Menu is on the wall. Somehow despite being pretty bare-bones the place has a funky feel to it. Mom and I split a tofu pad thai curry — we had dinner in a few hours so thus the splitting, but an order could feed a hungry person with a little bit leftover. The food just tasted fresh and delicious, right out of a hot wok. It was just spicy enough(if you can’t handle a kick, definitely do mild because the medium bites back a tiny bit). The pineapple really makes it. It was honestly some of the least greasy Thai I’ve ever had. It’s no-frills, small menu, and they aren’t reinventing the wheel — but for fast, fresh Thai food, this is great stuff.
