This past summer, this EWC opened up near my house so I decided to give it a try on opening weekend and continued on to buy a membership. The work the wax specialists here do is phenomenal and I love the complementary colored in eyebrows. However, I am unsure if I am going to renew my membership due to the fact that the company is too corporate for my liking. I am constantly pressured for add ons(i.e. a lip wax when I’m young and don’t have hair on my lip) and brought products to the counter while I’m checking out that I did not say I wanted to buy!!! Also, the woman at the front desk immediately tries to book your next appointment without asking. It is beyond frustrating. One wax specialist even admitted to me that there is a script they must follow! I don’t even feel like I’m treated as a person there, just simply looked at for $$$. I’m thinking of going back to privately owned salons who are personable and offer $ 10 eyebrow waxes instead of $ 18.

It’s my first time visiting Rhode Island, considering the fact that there are beaches everywhere I had to get waxed. Lisa took great care of me and she was very thorough. I would definitely recommend her.

I only trust EWCs products and wax. I am usually incredibly satisfied with my services from their locations, but was not with this recently opened salon. Karla was very nice and appeared to be meticulous until I left to find out she was far from it. Very displeased with this experience
