Here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. Our party had waffles, French toast, pancakes, fritatta. Nice variety on the menu, yummy food, extremely attentive service. Plenty of parking. Well worth searching this one out.

I started going almost 20 years ago when they were behind Blockbuster at 75th& Lemont(now Jam n Jelly). It’s still a good place but the last several times there have been problems with the order or service, albeit small ones. I love the menu and the food typically comes out correctly prepared but they will forget pancakes or toast and take a while to get corrected. My wife’s omelette was runny in the middle the last time(I’ve never seen that anywhere else). The new location is hard to find but they had a loyal following. The top quality menu and ingredients brought people back and word of mouth kept them busy. They just need to tighten things up in the kitchen and waitstaff area to get back to their old game.

Nice small café with nice staff. I went kind of early, there was only one waitress but she was handling everyone according and professionally. I didn’t feel forgotten. The food and coffee was good, also good prices. Definitely highly recommend.

If I could give negative stars I would. We waited forever for a table and when I talked the the«manager» who is about 12 years old, I was told that they gave away part of our table to someone else as they had unexpected guest in their party when I was still there waiting for it, I was standing in front of them the whole time!!! They kept on bringing in other people to fill tables before us. As I was speaking to them they kept talking over me, treating me horribly. We walked out and will NEVER go back there and will tell everyone to stay away from there… WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER!!!

Excellent food and service. The coffee is superb. I used a coupon, which is how I found it. Parking is a minor problem, as nearby businesses keep the lot pretty full.

Great little breakfast/lunch place. I thought this place was across the street but it is in the corner of the strip mall by the Best Buy where Sally Beauty Supply used to be. Good service, good food, clean! Constant flow of people coming in and out. Not too expensive. I recommend!

We went there for lunch, the place was crowded and very very noisy. It became such a distraction, that it ruined our lunch. They need to put up some items to baffle the sound. Food good, price reasonable. But they lost 4 customers. hope they fix the noise issue.

I remember going there when it first opened the food was fantastic. The ingredients where fresh and the meals were cooked to perfection. Now I go in there and I won’t order eggs cause they will be so undercooked that they won’t be edible. The Waite staff is a coin toss you don’t know what you are going to get I write this review for one propose. Not to bash the business but my hope is that they read it and get that passion and fire back. Lemont Street Café is worth going as long as they get back to where they were good.

Food was timely but average. Service was subpar had to ask twice for my pepsi. Belgium waffle came but had to ask for maple syrup. Noise level is horrible. Décor and cleanliness is great. Will not be my first pick for next brunch out.

This small café is delicious! They’re always so friendly! I would recommend the chicken salad stuffed pita.

Food was amazing. Everything taste so good! We ordered steak and eggs, pumpkin pancakes, corn beef hash and eggs. Steak was cooked to perfection! I didn’t even need steak sauce. The potatoes are to diieeeeeeee for. So soft and yummy. For all of you French toast people… Order the banana nut French toast. It’s out of this world. Too bad I was only visiting from California or I’d be here all the dang time. I hope to return here one day because this place is a hidden gem :)

Great food. My husband and I had the country Benedict. It was delicious! And we shared the Al Capone French Toast which consisted of cream cheese and marscapone and 3 types of berries topped with whipped cream. YUM. And our breakfast came out incredibly fast! Great service!

It was good for a typical breakfast diner. The portions were, in my opinion, a little too small considering the price. I ordered the potato pancakes and was only given three tiny potato pancakes. C’mon. it’s potatoes. how expensive could this be to make, to add at least one more to the plate? You could have bought 2+ bags of potatoes for what I paid for the three tiny little things.

We don’t come here as much as we used to. My wife has a touchy stomach and the food here never used to bother her — now, it’s a different story. We noticed, the past few times we’ve been here, that the staff has thinned out, and so have the crowds. We never have a problem getting a table any more, which never used to be the case. We noticed too that the hours have been cut back. Not sure what changed, but the experience just isn’t the same any more.

First time customer — great service and food — very reasonable prices — took chicken rice soup for later — awesome!

I had a for this place. Urban spoon had given it a 93% rating. I will stick with Blueberry Hill for breakfast. Unilocal reviewers more on the money about this place.

Lemont Street Café is a fine place to dine– pleasant atmosphere, good service and delicious food. We like it because it is close to home and we can usually find a coupon to use when dining. The menu has a wide variety of choices. My favorite breakfast is the Mexican skillet w/chiorizo. There are unique specials offered daily. Hubby especially likes the hazelnut coffee. The staff is very friendly and we never feel rushed. It’s just a nice place to dine.

I found a coupon(see pictures and show your server the coupon with your phone) for a free cup of coffee… how can you not try out a new breakfast experience with an offer like that? Also for a limited time, there’s a couple other discounts too. If you know me you know I just love to eat breakfast out bright and early. I tend to prefer individual local spots and usually avoid all the corporate breakfast chains. I was having a hard time pin pointing their hidden location in the strip mall here but was warmly greeted once I entered first thing. My hot cup of coffee was kept topped off at my side the entire visit. I had looked on-line and saw that my signature skillet was their Hardy Combo. I just had them omit the onions. The huge skillets are served on a platter, which I like just as much as so many different skillet presentations have emerged. The eggs were poached to perfection and the single pancake instead of toast was huge and nicely appointed with a fresh strawberry. The potatoes, mushrooms and bacon were all cooked to perfection as well. I didn’t relies they had hazelnut coffee until I had seen a comment on four square about it. So my super friendly server graciously sent me home with a cup, along with my pancake and the other half of the skillet. I will be back to experience more of their menu. There are just 5 booths and although there were two regulars still in the next booth over, I felt compelled to give up the luxury of the booth to others that seem accustomed to them. I can see this place packed on the weekends and wonder if they try and rush you out on the weekends. To earn a fifth star these days you really need a TV and free WiFi.

We hadn’t been to the now Lemont Street Café for a few years but returned this morning. It was good! The farmer’s breakfast was it’s usual tasty self, and D enjoyed her crepes and even the tea. The Very Berry Explosion was delightful as usual. The coffee seems to have improved a notch. Service was good and down-home. We’ll be back again!

I am always a happy camper when the pancakes come to me nice and hot and the butter melts. Why is that sooooooo difficult to accomplish? My husband’s eggs were under cooked, but he slopped those babies right up anyway. Nice employees, clean, and very reasonable prices. Much better prices than the breakfast place just across the street. Beware, you cannot see this place if you are heading north on Lemont. Turn in at Fuddruckers, it faces north.
