I’ve visited this location on a few occasions. The staff members I’ve encountered have no personality. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of them smile. It’s more production than customer service, even when they’re slow. Also, this location is extremely noisy. It’s not a place where you could sit with friend and enjoy conversation over coffee. And forget about trying to do any work here. Not only is it loud, but if you need a table with a power outlet, those are limited unless you want to share table with someone. It would be a great place, though, if you’re just looking for a place to kill time waiting for traffic to die down after a concert at Allstate Arena. And there’s wifi, so at least there’s something good about this place.

This place is a night mare of customer service ! I went there 5 times in the past couple month and never miss any time to up sad me by making the drink wrong, wrong Order, or always said NO with what I wish for my drink to make ! They always treat me poorly like I begging for free stuff! I thought that I am a paying customer too like every body els!

I visit several starbucks at least 4 to 5 times a week. And this location in des plaines, il. on mannheim rd. got to be one of the worst starbucks I ever went to. The guy that was in the drive thru at the location 2655 Mannheim Rd
Des Plaines, IL 60 018 at 6:45pm on 11/​05/​2015, was so rude and gave me a nasty attitude. when I asked for napkins to clean the sticky cup that he gave me. I would not ever be returning to this location.

Nice seating outside, Across from the Allstate arena. Staff is friendly. But still your typical Starbucks.
Great teas and coffees. Seating is limited inside. So if you come at there busy time. Might be slim pickings for choice of seating.

I won’t be back. I bought breakfast sandwich, iced raspberry cake, and venti iced tea and pulled into lot to eat. Upon finishing eating maybe 20 minutes later, I pulled bavk into line and requested a refill on my drink with my gold card and was refused saying should’ve sat in patio chair rather than car. Now I thought day was pain from this day from the public and various offenders, sheeze can’t wait to hang up badge and then not have to care anymore. The irony is that if I wanted to purchase a new drink that would have been glad to give it to me but a refill not. I’m missing something.

I just bought 3 espresso drinks and as I held up my mobile app for the cashier to scan in the drive thru, I told her about the coupon for $ 1 off on espresso drinks. She said, «Oh unfortunately I just scanned it but if you come back later today I can honor that coupon.»
Who buys (6) drinks in a day? You want me to come back for a coupon when I am already at the store???
This sounds like a one-​time experience but I’m sure I can come back and give them 5 for my next visit if they do something to help the customer.

This Starbucks is great since it’s right across the street from Allstate Arena & Rosemont’s Target (which I frequent too often!). I usually go through the drive-​thru, which typically doesn’t have much of a line because they work so quickly, and when I go inside, it’s never too bad of a wait either. Never had a problem here. The baristas here are kind of like robots, but they do smile (sometimes) and their efficiency makes up for it!

I’m obsessed with starbucks, I literally come here every day sometimes two or three times a day this is my go to starbucks! I love the employees. They’re all very friendly and genuinely want to build a relationship with us, they love our little puppy as well which is a total plus! Honestly I avoid all other starbucks because I don’t get the same type of treatment as I do at this location! Love them!!!

Service is generally good, employees are nice and quick. the atmosphere is pretty relaxed, I’ve come here a coupe times to do some work on my laptop. the coffe is really good though. I’ve never got a coffee and it wasn’t just about delicious. I’ve been to some places where the coffee taste old and the is disgusting. Anyways there’s my short review for this place.

Service is usually good, it all depends on who is in the cashier and whether they are having a good day. Drive thru is what I use the most and so war I have no much complaint about it. Just had a couple occasions 9 which people at the pickup window was already having a bad day… and it was only 7 am

Love this Starbucks. The café is slow so if you’re looking to get in and out quick you can always park and walk in. Occasionally the drive thru line can get long. People tend to reload at the window or order 10 frappucinos which makes the wait long. Good group of ladies here. They are funny and always smiling when I come in. They remember my order as well as other regulars that come through the café or drive thru. I’ve seen the magic here. It’s great!

I’ve been here about 5 times and have to say I will avoid it now.
I’ve gone during lunch and after work and no matter how long the line is, it seems that it takes forever to get my order through the drive thru. I once waited 20 minutes at the drive thru during lunch with 2 cars in front of me.
I’ve been to other busy Starbucks and have gone through the line really quick during peak hours.
The staff is rather unenthusiastic as well.

This is my go to SB location. Very convenient for me as I live close by. I would think it’s pretty convenient too for people who are arriving/​coming in from/​going to O hare. Mannheim Rd can get pretty crazy though on days when there are events/​shows ’cause SB is right across from Allstate arena.
One complaint: The staff today need to work on their customer service skills. Didn’t even smile when she took my order and it’s only 7am! :(

Went here in the evening for a pick-​me-​up after a long day at a nearby technology conference. My latte was decent (it’s hard to screw up coffee) but the staff was totally rude and uninterested. The woman at the register wouldn’t even look at me and barely spoke a word besides a feeble greeting. No thank you for my business. No «you’re welcome» or «have a good night» when I thanked her for the apparent inconvenience of ringing me up. The guy who made my drink was slow despite my being the only person in line. He finished the transaction with «This yours?» as he turned and walked away after putting my drink on the counter.

Cheerful baristas even at the crack of dawn! Going to try something off of the secret menu (google it if you don’t know about it…) next time. Parking can be a bit challenging if the limo drivers are hanging out, but the drive up normally goes quick. There should be more than one exit from the parking lot. Great access though if you are on the way to ORD.

The staff here is a total hit or miss. Their morning crew is solid– the wait in the drive thru is minimal at best and never have I once had a problem with my order.
The evening crew is a different story. The majority of these baristas either have no idea what they’re doing or just don’t care. There are two older, extremely rude ladies who make it incredibly difficult to want to patronize this location, but unfortunately it’s the closest one on my way home.

closest Starbucks that we found coming out of ORD. coffees, turkey muffin sammy and a coffee cake. done and done and done. place was clean, plenty of parking available and service was quick with a smile. i don’t think i’ll ever come back here for the sheer reason i live 1800 miles away, but, nonetheless, nice place.

Eh, this Starbucks is just okay. On the plus side, it’s airy, well-​lit, and close to O’Hare without being crazy-​busy.
I was ignored for the longest time while at the register. There were at least 5 baristas behind the counter who paid no attention to me before one finally noticed– go figure!
My drink was made wrong, but she fixed it. There are absolutely no padded chairs, only hard wooden ones, but they’re not too bad.
Parking is really goofy, though! You have to come in the first entrance by Potbelly as the second one is a «no entrance» as it’s an exit for the drive-​thru … but there is a parking lot. …Huh? Haha

It’s just like every other Starbucks except it does have a drive — thru which comes in handy on those mornings you don’t feel like seeing any body, but it’s right across the All State Arena so beware of shows because it gets really busy on the streets!
