Great wings and pig wings. A little on the pricy side

Didn’t even bother ordering — guy who answered was curt and very rude. I asked about specials, he simply said, ‘no.’ Then when I asked for an order of a dozen wings, he said, ‘I’m not going to deliver to you, buddy. We have a $ 20 minimum order.’ First, a $ 20 minimum for a wing joint is ridiculous, and second, if you’re going to have such a minimum, politely inform me, rather than saying, ‘I’m not going to deliver to you.’ Awful, rude service. Zero stars.

Came here tonight and my boyfriend and i shared a 12 piece or so of chicken wings with ranch and medium flavored sauce. We thought it was delicious! Definitely 5 stars from us. Fast service and we also ordered a large for garlic parmesan fries and those were delicious also!

It was good! The wings were perfectly cooked. The only thing I would’ve liked is to have the traditional hot sauce basted onto the wings. They serve all the sauces on the side and the sauce was congealed and a bit unappetizing. The barbecue and Thai chili wings were based as they were cooked and they were better.

They offer samples of most of their sauces at the front register, where you can taste test with celery. We were in on a relatively slow night, but the wings were incredible, and the staff was friendly.

Wings were alright… just kidding, they’re delicious. Wasn’t disappointed as it was definitely enough sauce to go around. Usually a lot of places like to water down their ranch but theirs wasn’t. I’ll be back to try some more sauces.

The food was good but the service was really bad. I mean REALLY, REALLYBAD. I called our order in for a simple pick up and told it would be ready in 45 minutes. Got there a few minutes early and then waited another HOUR before my order was ready. To make it even worse the staff was rude and really did not seem to care that I had to wait. It was not just me as there were 5 other people getting irritated. Two of them have up and asked for their money back. My advice. Lose the attitude and be transparent on how long it will take for a persons order.

I love me some wings, and I swung by on the basis of its good reviews. Being a foodie, I was impressed with this place, because their cooking techniques are actually innovative. Instead of using generic methods of cooking, they fry(without batter, of course) and then grill the wings, which gives them a unique texture that you just can’t find anywhere else. I frankly don’t know why people haven’t tried this before, but it gives the skin this smoky-crispiness, if ever-so-slightly charred. And the wings themselves were a nice size as well. My main complaint is that there’s not enough hot/buffalo sauce, I actually had to order more. As someone who can handle their spice, and I don’t remember exactly what level of spice I got my sauce at, but I when I asked for more, I had to order up a notch. Otherwise, the sauce itself is also a pretty unique experience, as it’s not quite runny, not quite pasty, but almost applesauce-like in consistency. There’s not much to mention about the service, as it’s a order-at-the-counter type restaurant, and the cashier was polite and hospitable. I kinda wished that the food came out a little faster, considering it wasn’t busy when I stopped in, though I understand that their novel cooking methods would require longer cooking times. If they could somehow speed up the process without sacrificing quality, that’d be lovely. Overall: 3.78÷5 stars. Definitely recommended. If I’m ever in the area, I will be sure to stop by again :)

Fabulous! Def does NoT taste frozen. Which is awesome. The pig wings are super meaty! And just all around fabulous. Recommend the medium sauce and the sweet chili sauce(sweet honey taste)! 4 medium sized Tvs with football on all of them. Not packed on a football Saturday at all. Great happy hour prices!

Came here to meet some out-of-state friends who were stopping through Denver. I’d never heard of this place before, but we picked it because after a quick Unilocal search for«wings» in Denver, it was the highest-rated option. And I can see why! Service was fast and easy, and there were plenty of places to sit. There were several TVs showing a variety of channels, all on mute but with closed captioning. Our party ordered several different menu items, including wings, a Caesar salad, chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, and wraps, and everything was cooked fresh and tasted delicious. As we ate and talked, several people came in and out picking up orders they had called in, and each one of them commented on how quick the service was. For being the result of a spur-of-the-moment search for a place to eat, Grillin’ Wings turned out to be pretty awesome.

I gotta say, this place was delicious. It was right around 11:00 am on a Thursday, so it wasn’t that busy. Luckily we took our time and sampled all the awesome sauces they have available. Not feeling like stepping away from the normal, I ordered 6 mild chicken wings, and 6(Maybe it was 8?) of the barbecue pork wings. Also got an order of the pork chile french fries. The food came out quick and hot. The side dressings were cold and the veggies were crisp. The chicken wings were well covered in sauce, tender, and fairly easy to strip to the meat off the bone. A 2 oz sauce side was also included for extra dipping. The fries were okay. I wasn’t crazy about the pork chile, but none-the-less, were a nice compliment to the wings. What really blew me away was how succulent and tender the pork wings were. When cooked improperly, pork shank can be very chewy. However, these guys crushed it. The wet wipes at each table were also a nice find! Definitely ate too much, but was well worth it. Come check this place out and be sure to order the pork wings!

Read a review on here several months ago about the pig wings. Decided to finally give it a try. Am I ever glad that I did! We ordered both the chicken wings and the pig wings for delivery. The chicken was good, but the pig wings were the hands down favorite! Tender and delicious! I good selection of sauces, so I can’t wait to try more. This was a delivery order, but the service was also exceptional. The person taking my order over the phone was helpful and friendly. The guy that made the delivery was also very pleasant and friendly. I now want to visit the place in person to enjoy the tasty food and friendly staff! Good Job Guys!

This is a pretty good wings joint on University, in block plagued by mediocre dining establishments. They had chicken wings, pig wings, and shrimp– that could be served grilled or fired and can be ordered with a variety of sides and dipping sauces. I made the mistake of ordering a salad: It was a very rough chop of iceberg with 4 shrimp. By rough, I mean the lettuce pieces were the size of my fist. And with plastic utensils sawing this mess up in a packed plastic bowl was a ridiculous chore. The shrimp were tasty, and if I were to go back, I would stick to MEATONLY. Sports channels and flat screens are plentiful, serving up a mini-sorts bar personality. Not bad. But don’t get the salad!

As I mentioned once before, Jess and I like to have our protein refuel ceremony at one of two wing joints every week after our Wednesday workout. We alternate between Grillin Wings and another spot, and we always have a tough time refusing this place. The Good: 1) As the name suggests, they grill the wings. After cooking and tossing them in the sauce they are finished off on the grill. This makes for the most amazing flavor you’ll ever have, and it’s a very original idea. 2) The wings are HUGE! We split a half dozen regular wings and pig wings and always leave full. 3) Yeah, I said pig wings. Tell your friends. They are tender and tasty and go very well with dry rubs they offer. 4) Yeah, keep reading, cuz Imma say it again. Dry rubs. Cajun, Old Bay, or Caribbean. Try that out. 5) The owners are AWESOME! These guys remember us by name, remember our orders, and always make us feel like we’re part of the family. 6) They offer some loyalty points on fivestars as well. The Downside: 1) They choices of beer is pretty small. Coors light, Dales, or White Rascal on tap. I’d like to see more, but I realize their space is limited. 2) I love their sauces, but I’d love to see them throw something unexpected and original at us. But they still have a good range of variety and heat index. I’ve been coming here for years, and I have no intentions of stopping. And fret not, my South Suburban friends, they are expanding to the Park Meadows area. Cheers!

4 stars for great taste, friendly service, value, and location. I tried their chicken tenders and pork wings. Super tasty! I can’t get over how tender and flavorful the pork wings were. I also had the pork green chile cheese fries –they were ok. The menu wasn’t that big but people come here straight up for their wings. You get to choose your sauce, I believe they have about 6 different sauces for your waaaangs. Must Have: pork wings with sweet ginger thai sauce Enjoy!

I am at Grillin’ Wings & Things at least every other Wednesday. Their wings are great and are pretty meaty, better than I’ve seen at a lot of other places. And if you haven’t put pig wings in your face yet, you are missing out! They have a small beer selection but it includes Dale’s Pale Ale so I’m always happy. Their sauces are great but I would love to see them get creative with the sauces on occasion. Everyone is really friendly. They even remember repeat customers names, always a nice thing when you frequent a place. I imagine I’ll be having lunch there again this Wednesday or next. Good stuff!

For wings, these guys really can’t be beat. I don’t eat them often, but when I crave em, this is the ONLY place I go. Also, their chicken tenders are really solid. *by «solid» i mean«super tasty.» I haven’t had much else here, but they way they take time with your order — it’s always fresh — I am sure you can’t order wrong. ps. my favorite sauces are the mango habanero and reg wing sauce
