Sadly, I concur with the average ratings for this restaurant. A gift certificate brought us in, reluctantly, but we hoped for the best. We had nachos, fish and chips, ribs and enchiladas. The nachos were soggy with a lot of pale tomato and not enough chips. The ribs came out cold and were dry. The other food was adequate, but not enough to inspire a return visit. On the other hand, it might be fine for a lunch-perhaps sandwiches?

Server was nice but slow. Manager and other employees chit chatting the whole time next to us when we were wondering where our server was. Very unprofessional.

If i could give a negative star i would. Server was nice but absent, steak came out raw, and the manager was extremely aggresive and rude. Will never be going there again!

It was an ok experience. The food was not the greatest as I had the mozzarella sticks which was not as good as some other places I’ve been to… the Coke slaw wasn’t good at all and had no flavor… the fries were ok as well as the chicken fingers however I would’ve of done the breaking differently. My boyfriend and I also had the brisket nachos and it was more of a cheese nacho than a brisket one so be sure if you do order this that you ask for extra brisket. The service itself was ok. The waitress took a bit of time in getting everything in order. The food did take a bit longer than it should to come out so it wasn’t warm when it’s suppose to. If the food and service was a bit better this would’ve of gotten 5 stars

Someone gave us a $ 100 digital gift card, which we used about $ 30 of. Then someone, maybe the waitress, used the remaining $ 70 over the next couple days at the same location. When I called the company(which took about 30 minutes), they said corporate would look into it and give us a refund. They never contacted us again. The food is so bad, I haven’t bothered trying to recover our $ 70s in gift card.

Disappointed with«Curbside to go» After waiting 15 minutes in the car, I went in to see why my order had not come out yet. Upon telling the hostess I was waiting that long, she replied that I could get it at the bar. No apology. And I responded, «it must not be curbside to go then.» When I got to the bar, the food was already bagged and sitting there. The bartender said he was looking for a van. I pointed at the surveillance screen and pointed to the minivan parked in one of the 2 curbside to go parking spots. Again, no apology and just told me what I owed. Just want to note, this was on a Monday evening. Neither the restaurant nor bar were busy. When I entered the bar area, the bartender was talking to one of the three customers there. This truly was very poor customer service. Curbside to go should not be offered if they can’t bother to look at the screen to notice a car has pulled into the lot.

Food was average. Curbside pick up was a joke. After five minutes I walked into a nearly empty restaurant and found three waitresses congregated at the service bar hanging out. I had to ask to be helped. Poor management and training.

Great nachos, yum!!! Our waitress Tessa was down to earth and an absolute pleasure. We felt so bad that Tessa is dealing with a difficult group of young women that are complaining and being extremely rude and difficult. The customs are not always right. Thank you Applebee’s

The worst Applebees ever… Let me start off by saying I knew what I was in for, nonetheless I was hopeful for better… So my family and I decided to go watch a movie at the Liberty Tree Mall. It was late by the time we got out. We were looking to find a place to eat and Buffalo Wild Wings was packed. So we headed over to Applebees thinking it might be a little quieter. I should have known when we first walked it that it was bad sign… the place was dead. The hostess took one look at us and disappeared in the back. Granted we are minorities but still… have the decency to seat us at least. So another girl walks up and I’m guessing she’s a waitress by her uniform. She seats us at a table pretty quickly. And I’m excited thinking that we’ll be ordering soon. NO. That’s not the case. OUR waitress doesn’t show up until ten minutes later. It was some older woman so we took pity on her. But seriously there was no one there, maybe a few people scattered around the booths and bars but nothing that should have kept her from us that long. Another bad sign. We order and wait. Our drinks were given to us ten minutes later and they were wrong. I decided not to say anything because I felt like I was in for a long night. The appetizers were no better. They came out one by one but with a long delay between each. By the time it got to our main entrees we just wanted to jet out of there. And here is where it all went downhill. I ordered their Double-Glazed Baby Back Ribs. What I got was bones. There was barely any meat on it and the thing looked like it was sitting back there for a century. What a turnoff. I was hesitant to eat but I said ‘WTH’…I’m here, I got my food, might as well dive in. BIGMISTAKE… ITWASRAW!!! I wanted to throw up. I was so upset but I am not the type of person to put on a show and make a big fuss out of it. So I discreetly told the waitress that the meat was still raw and I didn’t want the dish anymore. She disappeared into the back for a while. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. Ten minutes later, the manager shows up. He tries to make nice with some bs excuse about how I must have gotten the one that was all the way on the end so it wasn’t cooked well… okay??? Then he offers me dessert… WTF I want a full meal not some half-assed excuse and a plate of cheesecake!!! I was so pissed I politely declined and asked for the paycheck. Our wonderful waitress(notice the sarcasm) who had been avoiding our table since the whole debacle finally comes around and I practically throw my card at her. At this point, I’m officially done with the place. Being the nice person that I am, I still left her a good tip. But I will never set foot in that establishment again. Cheap tacky food and cheap tacky service. I give them another ten years before they all shut down.

Husband(retired US Vet) and I visited Applebee’s today. They were advertising free entrees for veterans. The first thing I noticed was that they handed him a special menu with very limited entrée options. That just felt chintzy. It gets better. The place was crowded and we were seated in a very short time. We had our drinks quickly. As I was placing my order, I said, «I am gluten free.» The waitress offered a GF menu. Oh, sure, I’ll wait. And wait. And wait. Finally a manager brings over a green notebook, flips open the pages to the GF Menu and says«how allergic are you?» How allergic am I? Sir, I did not ask for Celiac disease. I am allergic. What an ignorant question. That is like asking a pregnant woman«how pregnant are you?» Then he says, «you’ll want to avoid the French fries and the crispy red potatoes. We are so busy today I can’t guarantee they would be gluten free.» Fair warning. So I peruse the limited GF menu. Waitress returns. I indicate that I’d like a steak. «Oh,» says she, «we are out of the steaks.» «Maybe you’d like a salad with crispy chicken.» That’d be great, I reply, except I am gluten free. Oh, she laughs, I guess there isn’t much you can eat then. She continues rambling about her cousin who comes in a lot and she is gluten free and there isn’t much she can eat either. So I order a salad. Dressing on the side. Unbelievable. I was so taken aback by the ignorance of this manager, that I couldn’t even enjoy my drink. And I could not get out of there fast enough. We will never go back to Applebee’s. If you advertise«free entrée» for veterans, then let them order from the menu, not a limited menu. And, if you have a GF menu, don’t ask dumb questions about«how allergic» a person might be. And, if you have limited options on the GF menu, please make sure that you have those options in stock so that people can actually order them.

Ew. Not impressed. Figured Applebee’s would hold a standard at all there locations. Needless to say horrible service 30 minute wait time on food and the dish was incorrect.

*horrible service* Needless to say the hostess was nice, our waitress was beyond terrible. The manager was going around to a few tables around us and we heard one couple complain of the slow service, the manager didn’t even look our way and walked away. My friend and I waited 15 minutes for the waitress to come to our table to even order drinks. We waited another 10 mins for our drinks and apps. We ordered spinach artichoke dip & they«ran out of salsa» so we still had a ton of left of chips once the dip ran out. Our entrees weren’t bad but it wasn’t worth it with the slow service. Seriously Applebee’s get it together.

15 minutes & still no drinks. What were we waiting for you ask. 3 sodas & a kiddie juice. Now I know they had to gather the apples & hand press them but good gosh. This place stinks & the service is beyond terrible. Did I mention that it was dead when we went & they still couldn’t manage a drink order. I’d hate to see them when they’re busy.

Like I said previously, Nathan, our server, seemed to be the only mature and professional employee working. There were intoxicated guests at the bar who request the music to be turned up uncomfortably loud. Instead of being welcomed to the neighborhood, it seemed more like being welcomed to West Virginia’s Jamboree in the Hills. We sat through as much as we could stand, and finally had to ask our server if it could be turned down. He replied by saying he already asked his manager to do so, but they did not listen. I told him I had no problem asking the manager. Nathan was amazing, but the rest of the employees and the manager on duty were terrible! The staff repeatedly shouted about«high quality drugs» and«strippers coming to Applebee’s.» This seems like a highly inappropriate atmosphere to foster in this type of restaurant.

Applebee’s is absolutely terrible in general, and this one in particular is no exception. I have consistently had a bad experience here over the last three years. Applebee’s is for people looking for a super cheap place to buy quick carbs. It is not a place for someone who is looking for fresh, locally produced food(obviously since it is a chain restaurant). The staff has always been sub-par, but recently they seemed to have found nice, customer friendly waiters. With all of that said, its not a bad place to get a few drinks. It is mainly the food that I have issue with.

The food here wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything special either. I ordered«Ultimate Trio of Mozzarella Sticks, Steak Quesadilla Towers, and Chicken Wonton Towers, as well as a clam chowder. The towers, soup, and tacos were very good, but nothing worth writing home about, as for the Mozza sticks, when I got them years ago at this location, they were the kind that you could bite into, and pull. Although I did not eat these right when they were brought out, they still were the kind where the breading separates from the cheese. This is usually indicative or «previously frozen» As for the service, my waitress did an average job, «meets expectations,» for Appelebees. Three things I will mention about her though. First, when I was placing my order, I asked for extra salsa, she said okay, and when my order came out, it wasn’t there. Second, She took way too long with everything, I had to wait an extraordinary amount of time to get our drinks(just water) for the food, the check, and everything in between, and it wasn’t busy at all. Third, she was honest: I asked if the Chili comes out of a can, she said it doesn’t, it comes out of a bag — she was not being sarcastic. Overall, A-OK says it about right, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t very good either. It was just«good.»

Great food, kind of slow sometimes though. The buffalo chicken is amazing. somewhat pricey, but still good! I’ve never really given this place enough credit before. However, recently the past handful of times I have gone it has been excellent

had the philly and cowboy burgers(both $ 9.79 each). enjoyed both. only bad thing was the crispy onion strings on the Cowboy were burnt and dark brown. other than that no problem. i asked for steamed veggies instead of fries and they gladly did that. this location has been completely redesigned inside and out. clean and well maintained. tvs all over the place the hostess was friendly and quick. wait staff was friendly too. food came out a little slow, esp since the place wasn’t packed but it was only about a 10min delay. the food doesn’t seem to digest well at all and is upsetting our stomachs. probably just our sensitive stomach though. they have some good specials. All burgers $ 5.99 every monday 4pm to close half price appetizers everyday 2−5pm and 9pm to close.
