First and last time EVER to throw my money away in one of these sub shops. It was by far the worst«food» I have EVER eaten in my many years. :(. I ordered«Grandma’s» chicken pecan sandwich on the smallest bun/roll you could imagine. The chicken was diced tiny with no discernible pecans and absolutely zero taste. I had one bite and asked my sister to try it. She made a face and took it to the counter and asked for a replacement of a «brisket with bbq sauce». The guys were nice and brought that one over. It was slightly better, kinda disintegrating after a couple of chews, but the sauce made it go down. At 6.59 for the crappy so called Granny’s chicken salad sandwich, I strongly recommend ANYWHERE else to eat but here… ANYWHERE!

The steak and cheese sub was excellent. Lots of meat, peppers, onions and cheese. The only thing I didn’t like was the sub roll was cut all the way across, which can make your sub a little messy. There are plenty of options on the menu to pick from. All orders are at the counter and you are called when your order is complete. Plenty of inside seating. Overall I will be back for more!

Honestly I’m surprised, this made me feel like I was at a southern BBQ official place! It’s legit! That slowed smoked pork and slaw sandwich is truly spot on with taste! Bread is perfectly soft and slightly sweet which compliments the creamy slaw and smoked tender pork shoulder! Comes with crisp pickle, which is southern style! Loved it. They have a very unique and large selection of unusual and never before heard of hot sauces… which is AWESOME! They’re appropriately labeled with the heat intensity(which is respected!) overall I can’t wait to go back and sample some of tasty and savory sounding subs they have & they have options! I wish they served fried pickles with some dipping sauces and some fries or onion rings but Honestly this is definitely a sub sandwich spot to put in your weekly list! And they have that Crazy numerous option soda machine that is the best because the selection is bonkers! Friendly staff! I’ll be back!

This place was yummy! I didn’t expect to like steamed cold cuts, but everything was tender and warm and fresh. I got the club sub and my friend got some sort of barbecue beef monstrosity that looked delicious. The place was very clean, too! The only negative is that I would say it’s a little bit overpriced, given that it’s just subs and sandwiches.

If you like subway you will love firehouse. Firehouse is pretty much a higher quality subway.

weird… ate the sub and felt like i didnt eat anything. Not sure if anyone else had that sensation, was like when you eat chinese. Also weird is that they dont have American cheese. Anyways, Im a vegetarian and I usually have cheese and then a bunch of vegetables on my sandwich. That usually fills me decently if the sandwich is big enough. The sandwich I got was very tasteless and like I mentioned before, not very fulfilling. Ill try to find another sandwich place in Danvers

This a nice place to go grab a quick sandwich to eat and the staff is really nice. This place is much better than subway and has a lot of different sandwiches. The only thing that stops me for giving this place 5 stars is that 13 bucks is a little pricey for a sub, drink and chips but overall it was great.

Pulled up a 8:45PM and door was locked and staff was cleaning the restaurant. Sign ON the door said open until 9:00PM. WTF?!

Very very good subs and salads! An easy place to add to our«go-to» hotspots. Very surprised at the friendliness of staff and quality of the food, considering this is a chain like subway. Prices are fair but a high 1 star…($ 10 per person average)

I haven’t been to one in years. I was excited to see this location but I find it a little odd where it’s located. I got the meatball sub everyone was super nice. He was willing to take anything off that i didnt want. The meatball sub was so warm and it didn’t taste like out of a can. I wish the sauce was a little less. the staff was so nice. It was very clean in there and the soda machine was awesome. However this time it was out of everything basically and I am pretty sure it was running low on most of the soda.

This was my first time here. I tried their meatball Italian sub! Extra sauce & cheese! They have those cool coke machines with 100 favors and they bring the food to you! It’s very clean and friendly here! They offered their personal opinions which I always ask as I’m trying a place for the first time. They were right! The meatball Italian sub was sooooo good! They have a sweet & spicy meatball version. Next time I’m trying that! They also have two flat screen TVs! I definitely recommend this place! Great choices and friendly staff!

My boyfriend and I decided to try the new place. I ordered a medium meatball sub and he got a large steak & cheese. The staff were very friendly and they brought our food to our table. The subs were a decent size. I got full really fast! I also got to try their Cherry Lime-Aid drink. With a squeeze of fresh lime, it was delicious and great for a hot day. The subs were definitely better than Subway. There was also a small outdoor patio for anyone to enjoy the fresh air.

I had a sub that was on their list of under 500 calories– It had turkey and cranberry sauce and I thoroughly enjoyed it. it was just missing the stuffing, but then again it would probably exceed the 500 calories. I am always craving Thanksgiving type sandwiches year round :) I love when places list the calorie information because it makes it a lot easier to eat out and you are not always so limited in your choices. It took about 5 minute to prepare but I don’t mind waiting for a good sandwich. It was better quality than subway subs. My fiancé ordered a Large sub, which was huge, and came with tons of meat… so if you are a meat love this is the place to go. The staff was really friendly and I like that they have tons of hot sauces to try!

The subs here are quite delicious, and much better than anything I have had at Subway. The service was excellent, especially given the fact that it was mostly teenage employees. The price was very good as well. The only comment I have is, if you have a large appetite, definitely get the large sub($ 2 extra dollars). I got the medium sub combo and was still hungry after leaving. Next time l plan to get the larger sub and forgo the combo to get a better deal. Also, the pickle they give is quite small!

Every sub I’ve tried here has been great. This place makes the mall a destination. I should be thankful that it is not closer to my house or I may be broke and fat.

Ehh. Mediocre quality, bad value given the price. Staff was friendly, but my italian sub(and clearly not a locally based chain, since I asked for an Italian with ‘everything with hots’ and the guy stared at me like I had 3 heads) was ‘ok’ at best. All in all it wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back here.

Not good when the chips and soda are the best part of your sub combo. I ordered the premium roast beef sub with everything on it and received a small, soggy sub roll stuffed with shredded lettuce, two tomato slices, a long onion string, and flavorless roast beef balled up with a splash of mayo, all sloppily put together. I brought the sub home to eat, so couldn’t go back to ask what happened to my cheese… Sad to say I was really disappointed, especially after hearing rave reviews about Firehouse Subs. I am attaching some pictures of the sub I received– not really what I imagined and definitely not worth $ 6.

I’m giving this place 5 stars to offset a few other reviews because it should have a higher ‘star’ rating especially for being a ”chain” sub restaurant. I’ve been to this Firehouse Subs a few times, and another one in Virginia once. Both locations were friendly and the food was consistent. I hate Subway. I am ”ok” with Quiznos. For the most part I try to stick with local sub shops because of those two ‘chain’ restaurants being so terrible. That being said, Firehouse subs are MUCH better than those two, and the«Meatball Sub” is probably the best meatball sub I have ever had, anywhere — including local shops. They ‘steam’ their subs which is different than other chains, and I really like it. They donate to local Firehouse’s since they were started by Firemen, so that’s a nice plus. (BIGNOTE: I heard this location is used as somewhat of a ‘training store’ which may explain a few things for other reviewers. Some of the other reviews are a little harsh about employee’s having to look at the menu or overly ask questions(when your training at any job you tend to ‘over-do’ everything). Also that means the seasoned staff — who are training new people — are going to be, as one reviewer said«overly peppy» because they want to be a good example for trainee’s.) In my experience the staff at this location have always been very friendly and helpful. Again, since they are losing stars due to being helpful(wanted to go over the entire menu with a customer) and«overly» peppy, I kicked my 4-stars to 5-stars.
