Best food my husband and I have had at a restaurant, hands down! I HATE fish, but I ordered the fish and chips and it is AMAZING! It’s not overly fishy and the breading is so light and flaky… MMMMM!!! My husband got the Dr. Watson’s chicken strips and they are off the chain!!! We got chicken nachos and guacamole for a starter and the guac was a little spicy, but just enough to be delicious. I topped off my meal with a «Sex on Baker Street» drink(because I’m a Johnlock shipper and that’s what I wish would happen. LOL). All in all, whether you’re a Sherlock fan or not, if you’re a fan of out-of-this-world delicious food and a fun atmosphere, this is the joint for you!!! UPDATE April 20, 2016: THEY’RECLOSED?! WHY?! I’m genuinely distraught! I wanted to eat here for my 1 year wedding anniversary! Crap… RIP Sherlock’s. You will be missed terribly. *plays«Taps”*

This pub is great for late night munchies and a place to listen to live music every weekend. Chicken nachos are fantastic. Just wish they had more of a selection of Whiskys.

You won’t ever be disappointed if you know what to expect! If you’re looking for convenience and cheap drinks, sherlocks answers this duty. It’s located right off of 75 across from NorthPark. They’ve got a pretty large parking lot and a bouncer at the door. The crowd here is a little bit older– I’d say like upper 40s and a relaxed and casual but trying to get crazy crowd. Last time I was here there was a cute old man dancing in the centre for a good two hours– kept the spirit alive! The path to getting inside is a little complicated because there are so many turns, but you’ll find it! There’s a foosball table, darts and a pool table for a fee. Sometimes they have people performing on the small stage. Not much to complain about because the drinks are so much cheaper than my regular price!

Good place to go on the weekends if you want to dance, they have some good bands in here. Service was okay and food was fine, nothing special.

Staff is very friendly! Really cool spot to grab a quick drink after work. Crazy drink specials throughout the week. Their rockstar karaōke is killer l! I love coming up there on Tuesdays. Who doesn’t want to sing karaōke with a live band?

There’s a doorman there called James. He boasts about being a Marine and that he’s big and tough. He’s never deployed and was just a REMF! He’s lazy and when asked a question his response is it’s not my job! The music sucks, the food sucks most things suck!

I went to Sherlock’s on a Friday night with some friends to check it out after being recommended to give them a try. The atmosphere is pretty nice with a warm pub feel, albeit a little loud even though there weren’t a lot of people there. The problems started with ordering drinks. They’ve got a nice menu with an ok selection, but we waited incredibly long to get our drinks. If I wasn’t busy catching up with my friends, I’d have been pretty mad. We were there for about 2hr 30 min and I could only manage to get 2 drinks the entire time. In fact, I got my check before I even got my second drink. That’s insane, especially for something as simple as a well rum and coke, which not to mention, cost me $ 4.50 a pop. While the drinks all tasted ok, the wait time and price made it unacceptable. In addition, we never got a food menu after asking, got one wrong drink, and had to repeat our orders. I’m not sure who to blame for the incredibly slow drink time, but our waitress was nice regardless. But… After I finally paid my bill and got my last(2nd) drink, she came by to pick up the checks and spilled a whole tray of drinks on my girlfriend and I. While accidents do happen, it put the cherry on top of our overall bad experience. Not blaming her for everything, but that certainly didn’t help. To be clear, the one star review is not just for having a tray full of drinks spilled on us, but rather for the extremely slow and lacking service plus the mediocre drinks(price and quality). Sad that I had such a bad experience when I expected to find a close dive bar for lazy weekends. Horrific.

It’s really unfortunate how much this place stinks. I had high hopes. The place itself is huge and is a typical dive bar. I met a few friends for drinks here tonight. We took a seat at a table close to the bar in the middle room. 15 minutes and numerous waitress walk-bys later, we decided to relocate. We moved into the first room and was finally greeted by a sweet but clueless waitress. She took my drink order, then 10 minutes later came back and asked what I ordered. She wrote down«Whiskey gin» and couldn’t remember that the«gin» stood for ginger ale and not the liquor. My friend asked for a food menu and never received it. Another friend was given the incorrect drink completely. But wait… There’s more! The cherry on top of this awful experience was the tray full of 3 drinks spilled all over our table that dripped onto our laps. We had plans to relocate to a place a little less horrible, but with our new found stickiness decided to call it a night. Safe to say you couldn’t pay me to come back! Unfortunate to see a place with so much potential be so undeniably awful.

Enjoy the stage and sing responsible, is my karaōke words of advice. Do so, and you’ll enjoy yourself immensely, no one else will know what you’re up to! Wednesday night karaōke is fun at this place. I enjoy visiting these types of karaōke venues because no one singing usually is very good. It’s mostly a group of tipsy guys/gals, who are out on the two and just having fun. It’s usually started by someone daring someone else to get up and sing a song. Often you’ll find people singing in pairs or groups! So, I like these venues because I can sing pretty good(always asked if I sing professionally or if I am in a band), because I live for the moment. This is the moment I live for: You get up to sing, after they’ve been singing in the place for a while and they’ve announced your name. You leave the mic in the mic stand and adjust the height so it easily reaches your mouth. You stand there with your left hand in your pocket, right hand ready to pull the mic towards you at just the time necessary to start singing. Some are looking at you, but most are busy talking and into their private conversations. Then at precisely the appropriate time, you sing your first few lines and you watch all the heads come up, people turn in their chairs, conversations stopping and you realize your voice has their attention! You sing your song and you don’t look at the screen because this is your moment and you know«your» song very well. In fact, you know it so well you’ve made it your own, not a karaōke copy or duplicating effort of tge original and people love it. You perform the song and you finish. You say«thank you,» to the audience and you sit down. People come up to you and tell you how great you sounded. They ask you if you sing in a band? They offer to buy you a drink. They even ask you if you sing requests, if you’d sing a song to their wife, mother, daughter, etc? That’s the moment every karaōke singer lives for and becomes addicted to. That’s why singing in venues like this are so much fun. I love it. Of course, to repeat the thrill you can’t become a regular. Instead you have to come to your venue only once every six months or so. No one can recognize you from before for you to experience this sort of karaōke rush and fix! So, spread it out and go lots of places and never become a regular’. They are the worse! Can’t they get a life or something? After all, you wouldn’t want people to think of you as a wanna-be singer or some goofy karaōke singer, right? Enjoy the stage and sing responsible!

I came to have fun… And sing karaōke please don’t make the same mistake I did… Mickey… Will explain to you she plays two songs so a 67 year old man has fun and is the ONLY tiny dancer she has. When the line of singers leave… GREATJOBSHERLOCKS. Make this right please…

If you are going to try anything get the fish and chip. In house made. I also like all of the different types of beers. Service wasn’t great at this location. They only had a few people working the table so I had to go to the bar to get drinks.

Only 2 waitresses available and after taking our drink order waitress did not come back to check on us until 30 min later to take our order! The service was very poor and I was disappointed with the service. The food was good and the entertainment was outstanding but just very disappointed with the availability of wait staff that was provided.

First off, sherlocks will never win awards for best décor or most trendy place in Dallas. Seating is a little tricky if they don’t have the main band room or patio open too. That being said, sherlocks will consistently have the best specials /deals in the area. After a disappointing stop at bar Louie on a Sunday afternoon we came by. Drinks I guess my group wanted to mix shots /drinks /everything today. Shots of patron, cinnamon cookie shots, Hennessy, crown, a good, run at like $ 6. Bottle of cheapest champagne costs $ 15. Also got wells and beers for like $ 2.50−4. Also got some snacks, fries, brownie w ice cream, cobbler w ice cream, all around $ 5. All pretty good. I’ve had all kinds of food here and I think it’s pretty good and cheap for a bar. I will be back again.

Well, I have seen it all. This place is like Walmart night out. Chicks were out on the patio in house shoes — no lie. Saggy pants dudes hanging out smoking — you can label however you want. Then mix in some 50’s+ up crowd listening to the 50+ aged band that was playing Zepplin and The Who covers inside… and then the college crowd playing pool. What is Sherlock’s good for? Well… fish n chips for one. Cheap drinks for two. Best people watching for the win.

I visited this location St. Patrick’s Day only because I knew the band. Otherwise, the Addison location is WAY better! I sat at the bar and everything was cool. Service was great. Then I moved to a table since I had friends coming. The waitress for that section never came to my table; never acknowledged me to see if I needed anything. She kept making eye contact with me, then quickly looked away. I didn’t say anything on purpose to see how long she would play that game. Nothing happened. My friends finally arrived and we filled up the table. I told them good luck with getting any service. After 30mins, the drummer of the band finally got the waitress to come to our table. The funny thing about this is that my friends and I are all huge tippers. Whatever her reasons were for not to acknowledging us, she missed out on a bunch of money. I won’t be returning!

First time here. We came on a Saturday. It was during happy hour but the place wasn’t crowded at all. The happy hour beer choices weren’t the greatest. But we had a table in the bar area facing the front door so that was fun for people watching. We had the appetizer sampler and it came with a lot of different things. The bar itself had just about every stool occupied so It seemed that the bartenders(2 guys) were pretty sociable. We didn’t get any mixed drinks due to budget constraints but maybe next time. This looks like a great place for a drink before or after a trip to nearby NorthPark Mall.

This place is really cool. Its especially cool that the karaōke plays with a live band. However, it uses an autotuner so everyone sounds decent to good. There are a lot of veer choices, a lot if activities and a lit if seats. Well be coning back for sure

Somehow every time my friends and I are stuck on where to go at the last minute, we end up at Sherlock’s. There’s nothing special about it but yet… here we are again. On a Saturday night, it’s really crowded… there’s a great patio, live music and fortunately a place where you can go and actually hear each other. What I like is the tavern-like feel and the options of different world beers, especially British ones. The whole«British» décor is a bit much(we get it… yay Union Jack). The waitstaff is tends to be hit or miss. Some times the bartender and waitstaff is on point. prompt, waters, etc. And then there’s this past time where the waitress came up to us and said«you’d be better off getting your beers from the bar.» Uhm… ok, thanks? The food is your typical pub-style fare. Cheese fries, fish and chips, etc. Good to nibble on as you pass the time. But like I said at the beginning, Sherlock’s is a place I tend to end up at rather than seek out.
