After spending the last two days searching for a couple of suits for my 6’4″ husband, we were saved by Culwell’s custom suit program. Honestly in all of Dallas none to be found that were what we were looking for. Comparable programs at other stores were three times the price.
The staff was great and very detailed with measurements. Fabric choices were fantastic compared to what we had seen in off the rack selections. Truly custom from cut of pockets, button choices, lapel styling, lining and more. Culwell has great pricing for what is truly a fully customized suit. After what we have dealt with over the last two days, I feel certain we will return for this great service. I highly recommend Culwell. Do not be deterred by the $$$$ rating, you get what you pay for and again 1⁄3 the price of other retailers for the same service.

The close location to SMU gives this place a cool college town vibe. The parking can be a mess, but luckily they have a parking czar who will let you in if you let them know you’re going to Culwell & Son.
This place is awesome when it comes to shoes. They carry Alden and they have A LOT in stock. They also carry a full line… of Bill’s Khakis. When I say FULL LINE… I mean, pretty much everything. I should also mention they carry Southern Tide too. It’s for a younger crowd, but their polo shirts are the BEST out there.

This place carries very high-​end suits. And very expensive. Customer service is really great. One or two visits and they know your name. I’ve been buying suits here since 1995 and I can’t complain too much. Their custom shirts leave a little to be desired. .. . I’m looking for a new shirt maker. But I have to tell you, I still wear every suit I’ve ever bought from Cullwell, and some are approaching 16 years old!
P. S. — This is a MEN’S clothing store, not children!
