Digg’s Taco Shop

This is a great little place. The staff is super friendly and the food is awesome. We had the Digg’s queso… that’s a must have. We had a carnitas taco (my favorite), a buffalo chicken taco, a shredded beef taco, and an Alaskan founder taco. They were all delicious. This place is a must!

Sorry Chipotle but Digg’s has the best burrito bowl of all time. Trust me: their burrito bowl with your choice of meat and beans topped with guacamole, cheese, jicama, mango, and a special cilantro sauce will be the best choice you’ve made all week.

Diggs is not your average taco joint. When me and my dad were looking at the men for a while. The lady working the register was very nice and helpful. When we got our food it looked very good and presentation was good as well. I have to say this place beats fuzzy’s taco shop. I usually don’t like corn tortillas but this place makes them delicious. The next time I go to a SMU basketball game. You will expect me to come back. I would also highly recommend this restaurant.

I love tacos and Digg’s is alright when it comes to generic and chain tacos. I personally did not get that great of service and for the price of two tacos that didn’t scratch my belly at all, I could of gotten full somewhere else more authentic. Way over priced and taste was ²⁄₅. Price per portion was ¹⁄₅.

Best taco shop in Dallas! Especially love their salad bowls. Super fresh! Food quality and service is second to none. Highly recommend!

This place puts out some tasty gringo tacos. Well, I’ve never had one, but my friends say they’re good. I have never partook because they sold me on my first visit with the torta sandwich. I’d say it’s up there on my list of great tortas. I’ve also only ever ordered the carnitas, but you can choose your meat. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, etc… The sandwich comes with some really good fried plantain chips and a nice dipping sauce.
It’s a tad expensive for some tacos/​tortas (thus my hesitation at straying from the torta… could be an expensive mistake), but that’s almost a certainty considering the location. The inside is clean, bustling, and efficient, I like this place.

I had a chicken and a pork carnitas taco. They were amazing. The flavor was divine, tortillas melted in my mouth and it was a perfect 10.
I also enjoyed a frozen margarita — it was refreshing and came with a slice of lime.

Came here a few weeks ago and have been meaning to write a review. I LOVE EVERYTHING I have tried here. And the beautiful blond at the front was so sweet and patient with me while I asked about the menu! She rocks! But when it comes to the food, the (steak) burrito bowl is unique with mango and some kinda sweet onion, the queso comes with shredded cheese on top… amazing. cheese on cheese… the tacos are all great (my favs= ground beef, shrimp, steak), don’t forget the plantain chips (my 2^nd fav) which are just AMAZING (make sure to try dipping them in the sauce!), and last but not least… my special favorite… CRISPY JELLY DONUT HOLES!!! If you come here, get them… but only if you think your life can handle a new addiction.

This is a genuinely great taco shop. Their ingredients all taste fresh, the tortillas are soft yet sturdy, and the service is fast and friendly.
I highly recommend the shrimp or buffalo chicken… and their salads are A+ as well.

Fresh made and taste wonderful. Prices are very reasonable and portions are great. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Everything is made fresh and to order. Service is wonderful and staff is always happy and full of energy just like their food

The menu at Diggs is a little confusing. like a complicated fancy chipotle. They seem to have a decent amount of choices.
I got a taco combo with the habanero shrimp and Alaskan flounder. The habanero was just spicy enough for me (which might not be enough for others who like really spicy) and the flounder was delicious with a really interesting mix of flavor. The tacos were moist with a really good mix of flavors. I wouldn’t come running here as a

I just found my new favorite place! It was my first time and I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted. The girl working there was so beyond helpful she suggested the nachos. I wish I would have got her name. She was wearing glasses and made my fiancé and I feel very welcome.
I will keep coming back good food and awesome customer service!

Totally dig this place. Self-​order by the door and they hand you a buzzer so you can pick up your food when it’s ready. My go-​to EVERY TIME is the taco combo with the chicken tacos. The flavor and taste of the chicken is mouthwatering and soooo good. (I’ve also tried the tacos with grilled mahi mahi, but it’s just not the same. although a good, healthier alternative.) I always tell myself to try something else on the menu because I’ve heard their bowls are amazing, but I just can’t get myself away from the classic chicken taco combo… I also appreciate that they wrap each taco with two tortillas because they really fill em up and prevent them from falling apart. The rice and beans are delicious as well. I always devour my meal but feel really full afterwards. The queso is also yummy. Basically, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!

Diggs is a great spot for lunch! Good food not too packed. The brisket burrito is big enough to split. Great location and good service

Just rediscovered diggs after a 3 year absence (sorry Diggs, what was I thinking). The shrimp bowl is perfection. Light, fresh, and FULL of flavor. The only thing I change is I swap out beans for corn, because I love corn.
Great tea, good margaritas, and a very helpful staff. Love it!

I always have to get the shrimp bowl. It is awesome! It has a big scoop of guacamole on top and reminds me of a chipotle burrito bowl, except better!!! It’s also right across the street from SMU which is convenient for students and has awesome margaritas!

I’m from Houston and a few of my local Dallas friends mentioned on going to a taco shop and they brought up Digg’s.
The strip center is a little hard to find parking, but we got lucky and found a spot right in front. I really love how it’s near SMU campus. It has a really awesome campus life feel to it.
I wasn’t really sure what to get, but I ended up getting two tacos. I got one with grilled Mahi Mahi and Roast Pork Carnitas on white corn tortilla. The mahi mahi was okay. I wasn’t really too ecstatic about it, but when I took a bite into the pork… omg the flavors really went well together. It tasted a bit sweet and the cabbage went well together. The pork was not dry at all, in fact it was so tender and moist. I was telling my friend who also had the pork and he absolutely loved it.
I think the customer service could have been a little better though. The guy at the counter just seemed like he was not happy at all. Pretty much seemed like he didn’t want to be there.
I think overall, I would come back again when I am in the Dallas area. I would definitely order another pork carnita taco!

digg’s just earned the last star in my book. Any restaurant that cares always deserves a full star! I hope to see more staff during peak hours cause the last time I was there (during the storm) it was Pack! two cashiers wasn’t enough as of had to wait. 30 min to order

I walked over here from SMU for lunch. The location is super convienent. My friends and I made it just in time before the lunch rush.
We split chips and Guacamole and chips and salsa between the three of us. We couldn’t finish it all because the servings are huge.
I ordered a solo chicken taco. Everything on the taco was delicious and they wrap it in two tortillas which helps keep it together. I wish the chicken would have been chicken cubes. The texture of shredded chicken weirds me out. But the flavors were spot on.
Next time I want to try the banana chips. For the price and the location, I will be back for lunch!
