I decided to give this place a second chance. This place has improved a little since my last review, so I have decided to now update my review to a 2 star. The food is ok now for a quick lunch. I had the 2 item combo with chow mein, pepper chicken and mushroom chicken. I am not happy with the fact that the pepper chicken had a couple of pieces of bones. I am not sure if this place will ever go above 2 stars. There is still a lot or room for improvement.

Panda has significantly improved from what it was. Food was hot and ready, and the service was quick. If they keep this up I will be eating here more often.

It was not even in the restaurant hygiene standard. Never had really good experience or I should say normal experience with this restaurant. Today I was gonna give it a shot one more time, very disappointing. I ordered a chow mein noodle, the long noodles fell out from the box, so its end was hanging out of the box. The women who worked there wear no gloves, and holding pen that might probably from the cashier(people touched money might have touched the same pen, dirty!). So one of the women used her bare hand with pen tried to PUTTHENODDLESBACKTOTHEBOX? I mean BAREHAND? Really? I will not go back anymore, no matter how hungry I am and yes, there has not much choice in the mall, but would rather wait. This is like the hygiene for restaurant 101, and can’t accomplish that, well…

Awful awful awful… The service was horrendous. The cashier(the one with the extremely nasally voice who just sounded like she was whining every time she opened her mouth) was so rude I was tempted to tape her mouth closed! and the food… It didn’t even taste like Panda Express… It tasted like some off the wall Chinese joint food that had been nuked over and over again. Yuck!

They must have gotten new management. The line people are nice and actually welcome you. The food on the line was full and hot. I am having a late lunch, 2:27 as this is written. The only thing that kept it from getting the last star was the no so very nice heavy set lady at the register. Of course she wasn’t wearing a name badge.

Stingy with the portions and try to close the container real fast so you don’t see that your plate is half empty. Chow mein is %50 filling with chow mein pieces. They always look angry and make you feel rushed.

They ran out of chow mein during a lunch rush. Spent 15 mins waiting on chow mein and watched as they stacked my order along with 12 others on the counter. I know I ordered a kids meal but you don’t fill the container half way. The line person argued with me about portion sizes which I understand, but you don’t fill a container half way. This is the worst service I have encountered at Panda Express so never again will I go to this location.

This is a pretty good location. I’m always in this little strip mall anyway, and usually end up eating here when I’m done shopping. The restaurant itself is usually very clean and organized. Food is served fast even when it’s packed and the line is long. Staff are friendly. Food is like every other Panda Express, good! I love their orange chicken and beef broccoli… yum!

Wish I could have reviewed the food, but after waiting around for them to somehow magically not confused during a lunch rush. That’s cool they run out of stuff… tell me?

I’ve had food poisoning for the last 16 hours. Felt sick immediately after eating at here, despite my better judgement. Please save yourself and do not eat at this Panda! :(

The food here tastes like . . the Panda Express I had circa 2006 in San Diego . the Panda Express I had circa 2010 at UCLA during grad school . every other PE I’ve had in NorCal, SoCal, and other states across the nation I will glady come here again to fulfill my unhealthy addiction of Half & Half, Orange Chicken, and Black Pepper Chicken. I can’t fault Panda for being Panda.

Ick. Panda Express is one of my guiltiest pleasures. I don’t go into shopping malls too much anymore, I mostly shop online. But when I do stop in a mall I will sometimes let myself indulge in some«bad for me but it tastes so good» food. Tonight I made the mistake of visiting this place up in the food court, and I had the walnut shrimp(yes, I know it cost extra, I can read — girl behind the counter) and mushroom chicken with fried rice. Even when you are«dining in» they give you a disgusting Styrofoam container. I thought those were outlawed. Everything had the same taste! My tongue was quickly coated with some kind of greasy, spicy flavoring and I tossed most of it out. Way too much money, tastes horrible, awful wasteful container. I have always enjoyed Panda Express @ Westside Pavilion and in Pacific Palisades. But from the looks of things tonight, awful food does not stop the hoards of people that kept queuing up for their own heaping plate of yuck. Bring some Pepto for dessert is my best advice if you want to eat here.

The food is great my kids and I love panda. Wish line wasn’t always so long but it’s a great place to eat when we come to the mall

Is it just me? Or, did the quality of Panda Express decline? I stopped in here for lunch to avoid Pinot Griot with my lunch like I Normally would do, so I could walk through Macy’s 50 percent sale and sort of kill 2 birds with one stone! However, the food part of the journey was left in the garbage can outside. First off, your usual choice of side rice or chow mien. I choose rice and almost cracked a molar! It was horrible. Also, I got Beijing Beef and it was firm as well. Moreover, I have not been here in a year or so and can clearly see why there was no line! Finally, Macy’s was cool and I was still Hungary but needing a Dental appointment! Thanks Panda…

Two words, food poisoning! Went here with a cousin, and he suddenly got sick when we went home. Wasn’t a pleasant couple of days for him! Food tastes good though, honestly cannot complain about that. May have just been a once off problem.

I’ve tried to make fetch happen with this location but it is just never going to work. Panda Express is one of my guilty quick fixes for«Chinese» food, but I don’t know what it is about this location. Their food is never quite right. The stuffing inside the eggrolls are always weirdly mushy and gross, the food is sometimes tepid and even the entrees are over done sometimes. It is just way more miss than hit. Plus, it doesn’t help that you feel full of derp after you know you dropped $ 10 on something you can barely stomach. Nope. No more for me. I’ll find another location. I know this chain can do much, much better.

Worst food on the planet… even worse than McDonalds or Burger King. Stay out of any of their restaurants. It’s cheap unhealthy crap they use to make the meals.

It’s not authentic chinese food, but its very tasty and consistent. Also, taking into consideration the many«chinese» food places I’ve eaten at in the area, panda express is the best tasting. In some ways this is sad because I’d like to support local small businesses, but it is what it is. Also, this place is by far the best choice for food in the mall, including all of the places which are not in the food court.

It is kind of sad that this is the best Chinese food in the area. That doesn’t scare me. It is a Panda, nothing really new. There were a couple times I was there and they were a few minutes away from replacing some of the food at the counter and asked if I wanted to wait for the ‘fresher’ food or I could take what they had. That is a big plus.
