Stay away from this place. I went for an oil change $ 69 I walked out with a bill for $ 870.00 as their mechanic messed up my drain plug and then blamed the prior guy. This was on a recently newly installed motor. All I can say is read the reviews I only wish that I had. Stay away, stay away.

Run from this one. Awful customer service. I had a flat and was referred from just tire for a new one. I was in a hurry to the airport and asked if they could put on my spare and then fix/​order/​put on a new one or pair. Israel told me I’d have to wait at least an hour for a diagnostic and probably 2 more hours for work. Seriously? This place is a joke. Called aaa they put on my spare tire and had me off in 45 min from the phone call. Fixed the tire the next day for 20. This place could have sold me 2 tires and made money on me. Never again!!!

I have had my car serviced here twice both times the service was terrible. I had to bring my car back several times in both instances. The manager Sergio is rude and does not take responsibility for any issues! Don’t trust this company!

Very disappointed in how the service department operates. The service department will find ways to charge you for false repairs. I scheduled an oil change with this Pep Boys location 4 weeks ago. Once my car was done for service, it went to the counter to pay. At this point the the person that collects payments gives a review on what they did to the car, and goes over anything else that needs to be done in the future. This is when things went south… The mechanic tells me that I would need to change the oil pan gasket since there is an oil seepage, and he quotes me for $ 1000+. This is where it is BS. My car is a 2011 Kia Forte, a fairly new car. So for them to tell me that I need to replace it is BS. I didn’t schedule a a follow up service with them, instead I went to a certified Kia dealership and service.
I went to my Nearest Kia Covina dealership, and they did a fantastic job. I went there for a oil change. And they did a good job. At the time they went over my review on the service to my car, what they told me was shocking. They told me that they did the oil change, and everything was fine. But the place that did my last oil change did not fully screw in the oil filter, so there was a lot of oil leaking.
I was shocked at what kia told me about what Pep Boys did. Pep Boys is very Un professional.

Twenty years later. on my Toyota
I’m a little older and conservative.
So I really like to match stuff.
Where it looks like it belongs on my truck.
This Pep Boys has a lotta neat things.
And they do have some great sales.
There is nothing spectacular that stands out here.
But the cashiers are pretty cool
And the parts counter people are helpful too.
