I came in here to purchase a gown for an event. I believe a lady by the name of Lorraine helped me choose the perfect gown. I am petite so dress shopping is not always easy! She found the color, size, and style that I was looking for!
Unfortunately I didn’t realize the dress I purchased was defective, so she called their warehouse and made sure to find one that was flawless. She’s amazing and swapped the dresses out with no hassle.
I have always been a fan of Tadashi! His dresses are gorgeous, simple, and timeless. This experience made it that much better. Thank you!

Buyer Beware!
I had the pleasure of shopping for and purchasing a Mother of the Bride dress this past year after visiting the Tadashi Boutique 4 times at South Coast Plaza. (There are only two Boutiques in the U.S.)
During every visit each very helpful representative, made a point to explain that the Boutique received dresses directly from the runway and therefore carried the most current fashions adding to the Boutiques exclusivity. Whereas the department stores receive them much later with some dresses being up to a year old.
After three weeks and with the dress at my seamstress, you can imagine my disappointment when I happened on Lord and Taylor’s website and not only found my dress but learned it was on sale for 25% less than what I paid for it at the Boutique.
I expressed my displeasure to Carolyn, the store manager, and she reported they had a policy of «no price matching» but she agreed to call the corporate office on my behalf to see if they would make some adjustment. Their solution was to offer me a 15% discount on a future purchase. My decision was to save 100% and not shop at Tadashi again!
My advice to future Tadashi Boutique customers: go to the Boutique and try on the dress for size, then before purchasing, go online to all the department stores, particularly Lord and Taylor, and see if you can find it on sale.
This was a very disappointing shopping experience.

I bought a Gorgeous gown here today and the staff was Amazing! So very helpful to get sizes and give their opinions. They even have a place close by for reasonably priced alterations. I can’t wait until my black tie event

I came here last week with my friend. We were shopping for her wedding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They weren’t pushy at all and spent a lot of time on each of us. I love their customer service.
The Asian girl chose the dress for me and I love it! She’s very patient as well.
I would definitely come back again for dresses.

Came here twice the past two months.
First experience: Nobody helped me. My mom & I tried on dresses on our own. Didn’t purchase.
Second experience: came back to look at the dresses that we tried on last time. Dresses are pretty but the price tags weren’t. We have other things to pay for so we think over our purchases thoroughly. The girl who helped us seemed «mad» or disappointed when I told her that I needed time to think about whether I wanted to purchase my $ 300 dress on the spot or not. I asked her if she can hold it for me while I shop the mall and think about it. She then proceeded to say, «We only hold for one hour. You should get it now or someone else will buy it.»
That’s when I decided … WOW. Really? What attitude. I don’t think she needed to be that rude. I think it’s certainly reasonable for one to think over a $ 300.00 dress purchase, and yes it may take longer than 1 minute. Therefore, I decided not to buy. It’s unfortunate that I had to hear that because I actually think Tadashi’s work is superb.

Love this store/​designer. Employees are helpful, dresses are beautiful. I have a feeling that my dress for my informal wedding will come from this store.

One of my favorite designers for ladies gowns. I often get my cocktail dresses here. They fit so well and have a great selection. Just a word of caution though, they only get one dress in each size, so if you see one you like, you had better snatch it up.

I found the styles amazing but the staff unprofessional and rude. I was ignored for the first 15 minutes I was in the store and when I finally got in the dressing room was told I needed to leave as they were closing in 10 minutes. Unbelievable ! The gal asked if I wanted to put the dress on hold and come back tomorrow! Really? She didn’t even want to ring it up. I walked out and ordered a similar dress from Nordstrom.

Just wanted to put a quick word in for my fantastic shopping experience at this particular Tadashi store. Not only was the stock and absolute abundance of it really fabulous, but the gorgeous shop gal that assisted me in trying on wedding guest appropriate dresses was honestly one of the most helpful people I’ve encountered in recent times.
Of course the clothes here are gorgeous and oh-​so-​chic, but what I really love is that these gathered, ruched, sequined, beaded and feathered creations are ultimately really accessible to the public. The price point is reasonable, the sizes are generous and yet everything oozes luxe, rich, expensive — even when it’s not.
The cocktail dresses fit and flatter, the summer frocks are carefree couture and the evening gowns are total glamour embodied. Oh yes, Tadashi is simply great for girls who like playing dress up. Welcome to the ideal spot for picking up your next «I’m wearing this to everything» occasion dress.

Tadashi is an amazing designer. He is a talented man. You can find Tadashi at the upper level of South Coast Plaza near Bloomingdale’s.
I heart Tadashi dresses. They are simple, elegant and sexy. Love its skirts, tops and blazers. Tadashi uses a lot of pleats and lace. I always get compliments when I wear Tadashi.
Tadashi candles are great too. Two of my favorites are the pink and purple ones. They are so pretty and smell so good. I am saving them for special occasion.

3.5 rating. An elegant boutique carrying stylish, high quality dresses. Their dresses are good for formal occasions, the material is nice. There are other clothes here but what they are known for are the dresses. One of the styles has been oft copied (form fitting dress with multiple pleats of fabric) but I believe it originated with this store.
