i really realllyyyyy loved this place. 9.95 for Mongolian BBQ and its enough for 2 people. The Asian owner is really nice and very polite. i am so disappointed that the place shut down though probably because not enough customers. The food is so great there it deserved a 5 star… The cleanliness of the establishment tho 1 star. I always take out. I guess the new place will be called Wok Inn. I dont know when it is going to open though. Will have to try it out.

New owner. No Mongolian stir fry. Opening up on Jan. 2016. Would go for lunch at least twice a week. Anyone know where the nice couple who ran the old place can be found? Did they open up elsewhere? Need their food! Going thru withdrawals!

This place is right up the street from me, like other reviewers have said it’s dated but I always get my order to go, so that’s no problem, the food is good & quick. I’m a big fan of the Combination Chow Fun, which is delicious & filling. Sort of glad it isn’t a busy trainwreck, easy in, easy out, good food.

All dishes are very delicious! There are a little customers, but all tastes are amazing! The best for me is chow mein!

Not sure if I went on a off night, but it wasn’t that great. The phở didn’t really have much meat and the meat that it did have was far from tender, I order the extra side of meat balls and I maybe got 2 or 3 separate on a bowl. The broth and spring rolls were good, but weren’t good enough to make up for the rude service, portion and meat.

This place looks like no good, but let me tell you, it’s great! I’m rarely in Costa Mesa but when I’m back I’ll make sure to stop here again. Everything is priced very fairly and the portions are generous. I ordered the vermicelli charbroiled pork and it was perfect. The vermicelli they carry here is a little bigger than most vermicelli noodles I’ve eaten but it was still delicious. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the pork was tender and juicy. There was so much flavor in that bowl for $ 6.95. The sauce was perfect and the salad on the side was wonderful mixed in with the noodles. The service was quick. I reviewed my food within 5 minutes of ordering and the customer service was spectacular. I highly recommend this place!

The appetizer combo was okay. It came with spring rolls that tasted good. I was disappointed in the fried shrimp. Like they were somehow cut in a third of its regular size. The egg rolls, I didn’t taste, but my son said they were good. The dumplings were average. The Phở lacked much flavor. The Korean ribs were awesome!!! The combo chow mein had good flavor. The service was devent. The place a little run down.

First thoughts, it is a little dirty and run down, not the most state of the art dining experience. Baby seat was dirty so bring baby wipes. We went in about 2pm and there was no one there expect the owner and a cook it seemed. The owner was nice enough and we sat close to the Mongolian bbq station since that is what we came for. He brought us the menus and took a drink order. After ordering he quickly brought the bowls for the Mongolian bbq and we went right to work, i had the pork and she had the beef. I liked them both, you just have to ask for some extra sauce. I found it weird that they did not let you put your own sauce on it like some other Mongolian bbq places. The flavor was fine and food came out quickly. Total with tip was $ 30 I think, so not terrible, but not a great deal either. If you are in the area and want some Mongolian bbq, stop by, I wouldn’t come out of my way to try it though. They are supposed to have good PHO too, might come back to give that a shot. :)

Never will go back there! Dirty inside, was starting to eat and a cockroach was crawling on me! They couldn’t find it, a couple minutes later it was back. I killed it and we left!

I like this place, it makes me a feel a bit at home with the food they serve. The people are also quite nice every time I’ve visited. The phở is okay, I’ve had better, but its not bad. A decent spot for your phở quick fix. The main reason I come though is for the mongolian bbq which is pretty good and at a great price. Its one of my go-to mongolian place.

This place is the jamy jam! Love their spicy make your own dish. Add as much of anything as you want for around $ 5. Always get it spicy with a Thai ice tea! I love supporting local business and I think this place is a special hole in the wall you need to try when your in Costa Mesa.

The BEST Mongolian BBQ joint in Orange County! No joke — these guys are the best, and their food is absolutely fantastic. There’s nowhere I’d rather go for lunch than Little Taste of Asia. Doesn’t hurt that it’s conveniently located just down the 55 from my office, but to be honest, what keeps me coming back for more is the value. It may cost a couple bucks more than other similar spots in the area, but these guys are the greatest because they’ll let you stack that bowl as high as you can without giving you any guff. Just don’t ask for a take-out box because this is supposed to be a dine-in only deal, and be sure to try their hot sauce. You can’t find a better spot to get some Mongolian BBQ!

Best spring roll I have had in a long time. The broth for my phở was delicious. I had phở with well done brisket, tendon, and tripe all of which was cooked perfectly. I didn’t have any of the barbeque dishes but when I return I will. I will add the dishes I saw coming off grill looked and smelled great.

A Little Taste of Asia, the name says it all. This place offers a wide variety of great asian cuisine at cheap prices, from phở to Mongolian BBQ. A humble building just off the 55 that some would call a «hole in wall» type of place, a little taste of Asia is so much more than that. They allow the food to do the talking, and it is screaming… If you are looking to break free from the typical chain restaurants then try this place out. It won’t let you down!

I love this place. One of my good friends stumbled upon this restaurant one day and he recommended it to me. Ever since I tried it out, this has been my go to place for Mongolian BBQ. The prices there are great and I enjoy the«hole in the whole» feeling that I get here because it’s not a popular and packed venue. The selection for the ACYE Mongolian BBQ is decent and there are to-go options as well if you need to take food home.

This is such a subtle phở place ! I absolutely love it ! Food is super fast, and the customer service is very kind. I haven’t had any complaints about this place either ! Also a great hangover meal !

When I first saw the place, I was not too hopeful about the food,(it looks a little old and not the cleanest) especially since most places specialize in a type of Asian food instead of having almost all types. There’s Mongolian BBQ, Chinese, Vietnamese, and a little bit of Korean food here. I still need to try the Mongolian BBQ here; apparently that’s what everyone goes for. As far as the Vietnamese food goes, though, I think it’s pretty great! The vermicelli dishes have great meats and fresh vegetables, and a small side of fish sauce for extra flavor. The phở here is priced very well($ 6.50 for a large!) and is pretty tasty. It seems to be a a family-run business because the same workers are there all day. The younger guy is really nice and seems to wait all the tables and work the register as well, so he’s usually pretty busy, but still seems friendly. Overall: huge variety, a little worn-looking, good vietnamese food, great prices.

Great little hole in the wall. We stopped in in the midst of wedding dress shopping for my sister. Needed a break, a nice quiet place to sit. I got chicken lo mein and so did my sister, after seeing the plates we decided maybe we should have shared 1 order. Such big portions, no complaints from me. We all split the spring rolls which were fresh and tasty with yummy sauce to dip in. Pretty good. If you want chinese, go here.
