Recently my Partner and I bought a house and selected «Team Reeg» with Prospect Mortgage for our Lender. We were first time home buyers and to say we had absolutely no idea on what we were doing is an understatement. Brian set our mind at ease and guided us through the initial process. We selected Brian because he was familiar with current lending practices and had the ability to close in 21 days. Throughout the process he kept us well informed and was sincere in doing everything possible for us to be approved for our loan. Brian even went ABOVE and BEYOND in contacting the listing agent when our offer was submitted to introduce himself, talk about our qualifications and reassure her that we had his full support and backing to make the transaction successful. You can’t imagine the excitement when we found out our offer was accepted. Behind the scenes we had the pleasure of working with Max and Kari which are members of Team Reeg. Words can’t describe how thankful we are for the hard work and dedication that Kari provided us. We felt as if we were her only clients. She is thorough, professional, friendly, talented, knowledgeable, intuitive, to the point and EXCELLENT at what she does in all areas. We truly felt that she had our best interest at heart from her first interaction with us. Kari would often spend time off the clock to review documents with us and was available at any time despite her personal schedule. Kari met us at the title company when we signed our final paperwork and we both were greeted with a big hug, despite us only having conversations on the phone and by e-​mail. She welcomed us with a big smile and we knew that we were in good hands. Again, being first time homebuyers the lending experience and signing your life away on mortgage documents can be very overwhelming. Kari immediately took that anxiety away and reviewed every single document with us and made sure we understood exactly what we were signing. The deal closed and we are proud owners of a beautiful home. I can’t express to you how amazing Team Reeg is and the amazing Customer Service experience they provide. We truly felt they were advocates for us and cheered us on during the entire process. Thank you Brian, Max and Kari for ALL that you did for us and we couldn’t have done it without you.

A wonder experience! Brian Reeg of Prospect Mortgage goes above and beyond for his client. Not only is Brian exceedingly proficient, he also has a great understanding of his clients. If a client is new to the mortgage process, he coaches them to prepare for the process, explaining what to do and what NOT to do to get a great loan. Brian, Greg and Kari were amazing to work with. They did our original mortgage when we purchased our home 5 years ago and now that it is time to do some remodeling they were our life savers. While banks are very stringent, Brian and Greg found a deal that only raised our payment $ 77 and we got enough money out to do bathrooms, doors and paint. My husband and I were part of the thousands of families affected by the housing meltdown in 2009 and fought very hard to not loose our home, but unfortunately, we did.

Greg was completely honest and upfront with what was required from us to obtain a home loan. The figures he gave us on day one were the exact figures we saw when signing our closing papers. I believe he and Kari got our loan approved and closed in 30 days too! Gregg and Kari answered all of my questions and concerns, repetitive or not, with patience and in a timely manner. They both kept me updated daily, even if there wasn’t anything required from me… just to let me know everything was on track. I never once felt anxious, frustrated, rushed, or pressured during the loan process. I seriously kept wondering why everything was going so smoothly, and when the chaotic frenzy or bad news was going to hit… when I was informed we were ready to sign, I seriously couldn’t believe it.
So, coming from someone who kind of lost faith in home ownership and home loans («the lenders»), Prospect Mortgage (Gregg and Kari in particular) really set the bar very high in a climate that can often be stressful. I worked with a different lender a couple of years ago and it was a horrendous experience. They were so unorganized that I literally received over 100 emails of different requests (where many were duplicate requests). It was a nightmare.
Brian and his team were thoughtful of my time, knew that we were on a strict closing deadline (less than 21 days), and was able to go above my expectations. They were also able to get me a fantastic rate. They worked long days/​evenings, to make sure this deal happened.
