This place has really gone downhill I was worried when it was almost empty at 1:30 on a Sunday when it used to still be packed with the church crowd the food and service just confirmed what I expected

I love Goldies. I’ve eaten here since I was a kid & I think it’s still just as great. I miss the old place, but at least the food still tastes the same. I’ve always only ordered one of two things off the menu… Hickory burger or the angel fire chicken sandwich. I like them both so much there’s no real reason for me to branch out. Although, I’m sure everything else on the menu is just as great.

I’m a big fan of Goldies… they have such a good charbroiled taste to their steaks and burgers. Their homestyle gravy is excellent – salad portions are great, okra and other sides are good. My hubby ordered the ribeye: loved it. Didn’t need any sauces with it(as he does at other steakhouses). I ordered the country steak. Cooked wonderfully, and sides were great. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The wait staff was extremely attentive to our needs – my husband gave the waiter a 30% tip because he was so attentive and asked us after the meal what we thought. Overall great place to eat.

First let me say, I’ve loved Goldies Hamburgers & pickle bar since I was in high school(many many years ago). Even though I love the taste of their burger, and consider it one of most flavorful around, I wouldn’t recommend Goldies in Claremore. For the last 6 or 7 years the service and quality has continued to slide. Opening their new location didn’t improve anything. Slow and poor service appears to be their standard. They have a good product, just very very poor execution.
