You never know what you’ll get when you visit. I’ve had times this place was fantastic and I’ve had times, like tonight, where it was the worst! Where to start… someone really like the seasoning salt tonight– it was caked on everything! The Bar-B-Rito looked like an elephant sat on it(when will restaurants learn we eat with our eyes?!) Super Spud was a Super Dud! We rolled the dice and we lost tonight. Rib Crib, you’re fired!

I was really disappointed with the food here today. I have been a long time fan of Rib Crib, and due to having moved out of the area for the last few years, I had only frequented a Rib Crib restaurant once every couple of years. This one had to have been my worst experience so far. The service was ok, I have mixed feelings. The hostess was kind of rude, and while she was seating me, she gave off this attitude of annoyance, like she couldn’t believe she had to take time away from her cell phone and snapchat or whatever in order to seat me. Kind of irritated me, but whatever. My server was cool. Young guy, prob early college. He was real friendly, and did a real good job. I asked for a change for my meal, and he was more than happy to make the change for me. He was attentive, and made sure to check on me regular like. The food was the biggest disappointment. The dynamite chicken salad was on point, but was also the only thing I enjoyed. I ordered a three meat combo, and all three meats were real tough and chewy, and tasted as if they had been sitting on the burners for a couple of hours. Not good. Cole slaw and beans were ok, but not great. I am used to much better quality when eating at Rib Crib, but this was unacceptable. I will return in hopes of a better experience then, and will update this review accordingly. I just hope they can get their act together and be the restaurant I remember them being.

Fantastic service! Our meals came so quickly! Awesome server. He gave us directions back to the road we needed. The pulled pork sandwich is the best ever. My okra was done to perfection!

3.5* really. Only complaint is that they don’t have pickled jalapenos. Brisket is good but a little dry. The smoked sausage and okra are among the best I’ve had. I had st. Louis ribs on a previous visit and they were very good as well.

Great service– even though we came in about 30 minutes to close, the staff was very friendly and receptive. Our server, Brady, was awesome. She was sweet and attentive. The food was really good– hot BBQ sauce to was to DIE for! And it didn’t take long. We will definitely come back.

We pulled into town late, and this restaurant was right next to our hotel. In fact, our hotel gave us a coupon for the restaurant, which of course we forgot to use — doh! I had the brisket, which was okay, but a little dry. Husband said his meal was dry too(I think he got the ribs). Adding the bbq sauce on the table helped immensely. Their beans(I got the sweet ones) were delish! The iced tea — both regular and sweet, were super good. Our daughter got the chicken strips which were fine but would not stop raving about how good the onion rings were. 3 stars because the meat was so dry, but definitely good enough to give them another try.

As far as BBQ joints go, Rib Crib is not bad. I’m kind of spoiled in STL having Bandana’s. Our server, Trevor, was a very pleasant young man. Very attentive and respectful. The meat was very tender and their sauces are good.

Driving through on a college visit, my son and I stopped for a late lunch. Jake, our server, was adorable and super nice. My ribs were so moist and flavorful, and my son loved his pulled pork. The coleslaw was so so, and the brisket was a little dry, though.
