Arcelia Martinez has been doing my daughters and my hair for about 2 years. She takes her time,
patient and is very detailed with her color applications. I love the fact she has creative ideas but also knows what would look best on you. She is also great with kids. My daughter loves her creative braids. I would highly recommend her services. The shop is not fancy but she does a fantastic job at a great price.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my hair stylist Arcelia Martinez!!! I’ve been coming to her for years and have trusted her to do different hair styles and colors on my hair. Every time I’m amazed at how much I love it. It’s like she can read my mind and the outcome is better than what I was expecting. She styles and colors my daughter’s hair too and my daughter just loves the job she does. She is always perfecting her craft and uses the most up to date styling techniques.

Love Arcelia!!! I have been getting my hair done with her for about 10 years! She is excellent with hair color and cuts. She uses quality products and does not cut corners, therefore my hair is never damaged (I’ve done highlights, lowlights, ombré). I’ve also had her style my hair for my wedding (2013). She put in extensions and provided a beautiful side updo with massive curls. The salon itself is outdated and a bit cramped but look beyond that! I have referred family (mom, sisters, husband) and friends and all have been happy with Arcelia’s work. She is punctual, friendly, and definitely keeps up with the latest trends in hairstyling and color. If you’re looking for a stylist you can trust, I recommend Arcelia Martinez. I give her FIVE STARS!

I went in to have my hair done for a formal event. I was very specific about how I wanted it done, and the woman seemed to understand exactly what I wanted. I had just washed and dried my hair before coming in, and she immediately insisted that she couldn’t style my hair unless she washed it again. The process of washing and drying added 30 minutes to the appointment, and put me on a time crunch. Then, she was absolutely BRUTAL when brushing my hair. My head is not that sensitive, but I shed tears and reacted physically to how rough she was being with my head. My scalp was sore all night. Also, the style that I chose was half of my hair up, and half down, with all of it curled. It looked okay when I left (though the part that was up was totally crooked and off center), but not a single curl remained by the time I arrived at my event an hour after I left the salon. And for this experience, the charge was $ 50!!! I have never paid that much for a simple hair style before. VERY disappointed with the pain, the price, and the quality. I am giving two stars just because the girl was nice.
