I went here because the location was convenient. I am not someone who is super particular about every detail. Still, this was the WORST haircut I have ever had. Absolutely no attention to natural curls and waves. It is actually more like a man’s haircut than a woman’s. And it’s a BAD man’s haircut. Everywhere there is a curl or a wave, there are ends sticking out. She tried to defeat the big wave in front that I said could not be defeated. I certainly will not go here again, or even anywhere near a Supercuts.

Karen was great, haircut was fast and she did a great job. No excessive talking but not weirdly quiet. In and out fast, took care of everything and was very friendly. Price can’t be beat. Will definitely go back.

Due to it’s convenient location(it is three minutes away from my job), I went to this location simply to get my ends trimmed. When I initially walked in, the two hairstylists who were working were assisting other clients, so I waited patiently for approximately 17 minutes. At that point, I left and I decided to go to Great Clips on Halsted. At Great Clips, not only was my presence acknowledged, I did not have to wait and I was out of there in 13 minutes. I will never return to Supercuts because of their overall lack of customer service — especially when Great Clips is three minutes away.

I got my haircut today, again thinking the location was convenient and the price was right. Let me tell you, I had a terrible experience. My hairdresser spoke very little English. She heard them mention«the C word» on the radio, and proceeded to ask me what that meant. I played dumb and said that I wasn’t sure. Then she asked me if it was the word cunt, and she wanted to know the word meant. Not what I was expected on my Thursday morning. Oh, and about the haircut. I am at work so I haven’t had too much time to gaze in the mirror, but I’m not a fan. The main thing I notice is that she took a very large amount of hair off around my ears exposing far too much scalp.

I got a better(and faster and cheaper!) haircut here than pricier salons. The staff was very friendly, with just the right amount of conversation. I even got to use a coupon from the company’s website.

Time to get the hair did. Oh who am I kidding, buzzing my furry mop every few months isn’t all that difficult, but managing the colics is another issue. I refuse to pay more than $ 25 for a fade in the city of Chicago, so Supercuts has its moments of clarity. They generally trim me up nice and neat, and every once in awhile it looks pretty darn good. It is unfortunate that store policy doesn’t allow the stylists any creative form or flexibility with their cuts, so the standard trim is about all you should expect. I have never had a problem with the waiting list. just keep in mind that people sign in and come back later, so just because you thought you were their first, does not mean it happened that way. Use a little forethought and planning as well. Dont show up at peak hours on friday, sat, sun, or after 5PM on most weekdays if you dont expect to wait for 15 minutes. Try an off hour like 2:30PM or early morning on a weekend for your best bet with the lines. Even on the worst days, Ive never sat more than 30 minutes here. I definitely agree with Rusty S., come here if youre in the area, have a coupon, and aware of the possible wait. It is very true they do not seem to have a concept on staffing, however, the profit margin may not accommodate it either. Ill be back until i find something easier or cheaper.

I wanted this place to work out for me. So close to my place and a very affordable rate. Although I was a bit disappointed with the actual haircut. The sign up sheet was actually a post-it note on the counter. There was confusion who actually got their first so it comes down to people being honest, which is fine. To make up a quick excel sheet with name and time arrived would seem to be a simple solution. The stylist who cut my hair seemed that she didn’t want to be at her job. My haircut is pretty simple, a 1.5 guard on the side and a 3 on top and fade them together. I ended up with a weird line at the top of my head that didn’t look natural. She did ask me where I wanted it trimmed up to, but I have never been asked that before, and thought it was a given to make it look natural. I am going to give them another shot. I would call ahead next time as there were three people ahead of me. All said and done it was about a hour and half by the time I walked out the door.

Question. Does this place actually exist? You guys get one star because I’ve called you over and over to try to inquire about schedules and appointments but you didn’t answer. The phone kept ringing and ringing and is possibly disconnected. I really need a haircut but I guess I won’t be giving you business! So much for professionalism!

Mona is awesome. I usually get a monthly haircut and it’s always great. Standard Asian buzzcut. She’s super friendly and an excellent conversationalist. I would recommend calling ahead first since there always seems to be a wait after 5pm on weekdays.

I decided to cut all my hair off and did not want to go to a traditional barbershop. Angela, the stylist at this location, was recommended by a family friend and she did a fantastic job! The only problem — I had to wait an hour but I think it was due to the holiday(New Year’s Eve). According to her loyal clients(who were patiently waiting unlike myself) it typically doesn’t take that long for a cut. I love my cut and will definitely return in the near future.

This is an acceptable haircut place, where you’ll get a competent haircut at a cheap price. Don’t rely on their time estimates and make sure someone writes down your name if you call in. One time I called and thought I was making an appointment. When I arrived the manager told me I only made an inquiry. I go here because it is close to where I live and the parking is easy. Otherwise, it is indistinguishable from any other chain hair place.

I only go here for the location(and the coupons that I get in the mail). They have been there for a while, but seem to have no concept of how many employees are needed at any particular time throughout the day. You’d think that, by now, they would have identified their ‘peak’ times and staff accordingly. They do allow you to call in and put your name on the ‘list’, but they don’t always actually write it down and therefore frequently have no record of you at all when you get there. They also have no concept of time. I understand it’s not simple to estimate wait time accurately, but if you tell me 15 minutes and it’s really an 1 ½ hour wait, you need to practice your estimating skills. Overall, I go because it’s close and it’s easy to park. I’m going to try to find somewhere else, though.
