My barber shop. I’ve been going there for years. I always come out feeling and looking like a million bucks. Either, Earl or Elzee cut give me a trim, and they always do an excellent job.

I’ve been going to Maxima for 6 or 7 years and it is just a wonderful spot. Friendly, with a neighborhood feel. I see Manny, but everyone there seems great.

Great haircuts, good conversation.
Tough to find a barber shop with both, and an up-​to-​date selection of magazines.
I go to Manny, but I’m sure everyone else there is good as well!

I have been going to see Manny for years. Yes, I am not a man and I nor am I African American. But Manny can do a mean haircut on a women. What people may not know is that Manny used to work at Mario Tricocci. The place is nice inside and comfortable with a nice big TV to watch if you so choose. You should try him out, he is known for giving good cuts for long hair. He came recommended from my hairdresser over at Maxines when my hairdresser moved to Miami: O Oh and he usually runs on time.
There is street parking, however, I think they have two reserved spots in the lot next to the building but they were always full when I went.

The people are good and the prices are reasonable. Wednesdays are $ 20 cut specials. Flat screen TV, WiFi, plenty of magazines while you wait. You can call ahead to schedule an appt. The staff does a good job of getting to your name and your style… And they don’t stealthily trim your eyebrows as you drift off without telling you.
