The rice was dry and flavorless, and I’m pretty sure it’s a few days old. The beans were disappointing. The enchiladas were also some of the worst I’ve had. Old, boiled and unseasoned chicken with a flavorless sauce. Totally gross. Thanks for making me feel even worse on a day I’m sick. I’m never ordering from here again.

Really good. The spicy langustinos are listed as «best in chicago» on the menu. I have to think they are. Highly recommend.

I have tried the prawn shrimp and let me tell you they are the best ones I have tried so far. I love to eat prawns and have tried them almost everywhere. My husband had their ceviche and it’s sooo delicious highly recommend their seafood. Next time I’ll have to try their tacos.

First of all, I didn’t try any of the seafood. But everything we ordered was bland or greasy or both. The $ 8.50 Nachos Supreme had fake gas station style cheese sauce instead of real cheese, so that was disappointing. Their beans were thin, bland and all around not that good. If you run a Mexican restaurant, the most important part of your menu is your rice and beans… THEYCOMEWITHEVERYTHING! So maybe their seafood is good, but I would stay away from everything else. It just wasn’t very good at all.

It’s the return of a Nayarit style(Mexican) seafood restaurant to Clark Street in Rogers Park. It was our visit but a small order of langoustines was very generous and well seasoned. We also got the fried fish with garlic. I had expected stronger flavors with the fish, but it wasn’t overcooked and there was always an option with the salsa(or even the sauce from the langoustines). With the chips and salsa that came to the table complimentary was a sample of their ceviche. We did(against menu rules) try the crab tostada from the bottom of the seafood menu — imitation crab of course. I guess I could have asked… but figured to try it. Will have to try their Siete Mares next time along with a full portion of their ceviche, or go with a sampling off the more typical non-seafood Mexican options. We did get a large horchata to share between us and it came in a large oversize margarita glass — unique but a spill concern when a 4 year old and a crowded table are involved. Maybe a regular will be enough next time. So for a first visit, better than average, but reserving a star until future visits.
