This place is great! Sheila and Karen do a great job with updo’s. They are friendly, the styles are current and they are reasonable. Worth the drive if you live outside the Norwood park area.

Ive been to this salon just a couple times when i wasnt able to get in with my usual stylist. Judy is amazing! she did my hair for a wedding that i was going to and it was only $ 40. i went back months later for a cut and color. im thinking of sticking with judy and never going back to my old place! super friendly staff. extremely reasonable prices! Just keep in mind they only accept cash and checks. they do not accept CC’s. :)

Judy is phenomenal. Reasonable salon. Just did my hair for my wedding trial, and she will do it for my May wedding. Did my hair just as I had envisioned it — I am confident she will exceed my expectations. I have had luck in past years with stylists there — really friendly and cute atmosphere. Def. Rec.

I’ve been coming to Brittany for a few years now and she’s always done an amazing job on my hair. Everyone is super nice and helpful at this salon and there is no stuffy attitudes here.

New to the area, I asked a neighbor whose hair I admired where she went ~ and so was referred to Do or Dye. Decided to call for an appointment on short notice since I had an event in the evening. Brittany (not the person my neighbor went to) answered the phone and was able to book me that day (big plus to me). The shop is a little off the beaten path in Norwood Park, but is clean & modern. Brittany was very personable, listened to what I wanted and gave me the result I was looking for with full highlights and a cut for a reasonable price. I’m happy to find a place I’ll go back to, hopefully for a long time.

I recently moved to Roscoe Village, but still drive out to get my hair done at Do or Dye. I get highlights and a cut for about $ 110 and it includes tip. It’s not the hippest trendiest place, but Caren (sp) does and amazing job. I fear that I will eventually get sick of the drive, but for now, I can’t see going anywhere else.
