This store is closed when it’s supposed to be open. I took a taxi to get here from O’Hare on a layover. Very unhappy. Small. Wouldn’t return.

I visited this shop on a little bought of «yarn store tourism» and thought it was nice. It was evidently Knit Night when I got there, which was fun. I was promptly greeted by someone on staff and was offered help. The shop is very cute and located in a cute area. I gave this store only 3 stars because although I was greeted warmly, I felt a little like an alien wandering around looking and touching yarns under the gaze of the locals. It felt strange. Also, nothing was labeled with prices. I don’t like to have to guess how much a yarn costs. Sadly, I left without buying a thing(which is not like me at all!)

Very nice little yarn shop. Owner was very friendly and greatly helpful. There was a class being held while I was shopping. I will definitely go back. On street parking available.

This place is great! I took some knitting class here a couple years ago and I keep coming back because Brigitte has a great shop. She has an open knit night as well and lots of ladies congregate until pretty late. The service is amazing and she has a great selection of yarns.

I needed some double-points, so I thought I’d head to this shop and check it out. It’s a very charming little shop located in Norwood Park. There were people gathered there to knit(3 – 4), and she had a class starting soon. The shop was clean, easy to move around in and had a good amount of yarn. It even had baby alpaca, which is quickly becoming my favorite yarn. The person who was working(the owner?) was helpful and friendly, and when she couldn’t find the size needles I needed outside, she went to the back to find them. The parking was a breeze — it was street parking, but there was plenty of it. The ease of parking is a draw for me — parking for Arcadia and Loopy is horrendeous! Though they don’t carry my favorite brand of needles(Crystal Palace; I love the smooth, soft feel of them), I think the warm, comfortable feel of the shop, coupled with the nice selection of yarns they carry, will encourage me to visit this shop again when I feel another project coming on.
