My boyfriend and I received great food and service during our visit. The Wine Country Salad was AMAZING! I also had a great chicken and guacamole sandwich. Make sure you save room for dessert. Whether you get a lemon bar or split a dessert, you won’t be disappointed!

This is a nice local chain for a casual lunch or dinner. There is a variety of menu options, including a decently sized gluten free menu. Upside of the gluten free: they are careful with your meal and confirm the severity of your allergy before putting in your order. Downside of the gluten free: a lot of the gluten free alternatives(pizza crust, sandwich bread) are quite processed. I recommend a sandwich or a pizza when you come in. If you order a salad — get the dressing on the side. Sometimes they can get a little heavy handed.

We’ve been here three times and enjoy the food and staff. But– the pizza guy making the food in open view has long hair and is wearing a hat… and no pony tail or hair net. Kinda think he should pull it up. Right? We like the pasta so we’ll stuck to that.

My first visit to Baker’s Crust and it was a great experience! I had the shrimp and crab pasta dish which was deeeeelicious! For starters, we shared the pork belly sliders was excellent! Dessert was Diabolitin crepes… sinfully good! Will definitely come back!

It’s been years since I’ve been to Bakers Crust and it’s changed a bit. I came here with a friend to have dinner on a Thursday evening and it was pretty busy. As you walk in through the first doors, it smelled horrible. It smelled like a wet and moldy mop, nasty smell. I wanted to vomit honestly from the foul smell. Anyhoo, there was a 10 – 15 wait, and as soon as we got called the host was going to sit us but the host was actually confused bc the table wasn’t even ready yet. So she apologized and we wait another 5 – 10 minutes. The host finally sat us in a corner by the doors, which was perfect for us since I brought my daughter too. I then ask for a high chair and the host brings me one, but with a broken seat belt. So I asked for another one as I showed her the broken seat belt, and she was kind to bring another but unfortunately it was broken too. I didn’t complain about this one this time, so instead I brought in my daughter’s stroller to let her sit in and fed her that way.(Please fix this ASAP) As we were greeted by our waitress, she offered the Specials that was going on that day. THURSDAYS: They have $ 6 specials on Pizza! My friend and I shared a Pepperoni Pizza, which was pretty delicious for $ 6. Then we also ordered the pineapple sangria which was more than our Pizza lol, but it was sweet and good! Last buy not least, of course we had to order dessert which we ordered the Jamaican Crêpe, with Bananas, Nutella, Coconut, Whipped Crème, Chocolate Syrup and Vanilla Beam Ice Cream… gah it’s like heaven. But sadly to say it didn’t taste the same as when I use to come here, it was runny and barely any Nutella in the crêpe. I was pretty bummed out. Overall, I feel like this place went down hill from when I use to come here. I loved the Jamaican Crêpe, and they ruined it for me this visit plus if they are gonna somewhat change the look of the place and the menu, they might as well replace some of the broken furniture, like the baby high chairs! I did like the $ 6 deal for pizzas and the Sangria was good but a tad bit pricey for what it is!

We go here a lot and the food and service are always superb. I highly recommend. Surprisingly we also never have to wait for a table.

This was my first time there and it wasn’t bad at all. My only real complaint was that it was, that it was freezing cold in the room. The service was slightly above average and has nice family atmosphere. My burger was cooked to perfection, a perfect medium well. Great Dessert a great balance of savory and sweet. The praline bread pudding was very dense, but with the addition of the vanilla cream and caramel sauce made it more appetizing. The cookie skillet was just incredible. I will be returning to give this place another chance. The menu had great verity, so I’ll try something new every time I go.

Adam was our server today and he was fantastic! Very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the new menu. We asked tons of questions about all the different sauces and he answered everything flawlessly! Food came out superquick and even though it was really busy Adam made sure that our drinks were never more than a third empty! Great dining experience!

Our food was disgusting. Not sure if it’s just this specific location(we have been to the hilltop location in Virginia beach and I give it 5 stars) or if it was just an off night but — our salads were warm– they did not taste fresh and the Gouda burger we shared tasted like a burnt grease ball! The fries were cold and soggy and my sons grilled chicken breast was fatty and over cooked! Horrible beer list and the bathrooms were dirty with no hand soap! We will not be returning to this location. However our waitress and training waitress were friendly and attentive.

First time visiting and was pretty impressed. I had the sweet potatoe biscut with fried chicken and a pretty great aioli. You pay for exactly what you get which is, luckily, great food. Would def come here again.

Went here for lunch for the first time despite living in Chesapeake for over a decade. We had the meatballs and ricotta for an appetizer, I had the Malibu sandwich and Kickin’ crab and corn chowder, my sister the Bacon egg and cheese burger and fries, and my cousin the Asiago chicken pasta. Everything was absolutely delicious and filling at a reasonable price. We topped it off with a gluten free chocolate torte slice, no regrets at all. I’d love to be back again when I’m in the area!

I was not pleased the first time I dined here for breakfast. I ordered the Jamaican french toast and the bananas was rotten not flambeed. Horrible first experience. The bloody orange mimosa was a hit. I decided to get them a second try and ordered the flap jack which were light crispy around the edges and delicious. They only give you 2 slices of bacon which to me is not enough. 3 would be more satisfying!

Baker’s Crust is one of my favorite restaurants in the area in terms of food. I eat there a couple times a month and everything Ive tried has been excellent. The atmosphere is very nice, contemporary and clean. The only reason I refrain from giving 5 stars is the service has not always been of the highest caliber. The staff is very friendly but I feel some of the staff could use additional training. Overall I would certainly recommend Baker’s Crust. *The Pizzas are great *Love the bread pudding

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Was deliberating on something to go and after asking a few questions(some baked items weren’t labeled) went with the praline bread pudding w/vanilla and caramel sauce and a coffee. The guy behind the counter said they usually heat it up when they serve it because I asked so that’s what I thought they would do. When I got it in the car I realized it was cold. Also, the huge container of vanilla sauce had a date on it 12 – 31 …which I hope is the packing date and it’s good for at least a week. It was tasty… but I bet better when heated.

My first time here and I’m definitely a fan of this restaurant. I love the ambiance. The food is good and not expensive at all. I’ll definitely be coming back here!

I arrived here early thinking that they had a breakfast menu, but I was wrong. Breakfast is reserved for weekends only. I was the first one in and the hostess showed me to a table. The floor was so slick next to the table that I nearly slid into my seat. The place appears to be clean but is dimly lit so it can only be based on what the eyes can see. I was looking for breakfast so without further ado, I left. The couple that were seated after me and next to my table were put off by no breakfast menu as well and left. First, I want to mention that last year when my brother and SIL were in town we met for breakfast here and the food was nothing spectacular but not bad either. I was pleased to see that they had a few gluten-free items though not many for breakfast. The service was subpar. I probably wouldn’t suggest coming here to dine, but wouldn’t be opposed if another party wanted to dine here.

I went to the Baker’s Crust recently and had a great time! I have been a few times in the past and I have never been disappointed. Yes, the prices are not the greatest, but I truly feel like you get what you pay for there. When I went recently, I tried the signature tomato with cheese soup and my mind was blown at how amazing it was. I never expected to be blown away by something so simple as a soup, but BC managed to do so! Everything from the breakfast to their desserts are fantastic. Highly recommend paying them a visit if you haven’t already done so.

Great location place! We had a girls’ brunch on a Sunday — thankfully right before it got really busy. I got the Baker’s Egg Crossiant, which touted that the crossiant is made in-house. I was also impressed that they grow their own greens, so I love supporting establishments that try to grow/use local foods. It was a great breakfast sandwich, especially the accompanying hash browns — so much great flavor. My friend ordered the indulgent chicken and waffles that comes with honey buerre blanc — and what an amazing difference that little addition made. It was so, so good that maybe someday I’ll be able to come back and order it myself :) My friend(who’s a local) said she’s been here as well for dinner and raved about their pizzas. Can’t speak for them myself but thought I’d throw that tidbit out there.

I had lunch here recently with some friends and have to say it was pretty good. Not mind blowing, but definitely pretty good. This was my first visit to this location and Bakers Crust appears to have changed a little since the last time I walked through their doors. I was expecting just to order a sandwich from the counter and sit down, and the company appears to have grown up and turned into a full service restaurant. Our party of 3 was seated in a cozy dining room. The lights were dim and there is a fireplace in the center. After looking over the expanded menu I selected a Pepperoni, Sausage & Portabella Wood-Fired Pizza. My co-worker ordered a pizza as well and his wife had a seafood salad and soup combo. The lunch was good and our server was friendly and for the most part attentive, however service was on the slow side. The restaurant was only half full throughout our visit and it still took us a full hour and half from start to finish. Not good for a lunch hour… Hopefully they were only having a bad day in that respect. All in all I’ll most certainly give them another try soon as I’ve always been a fan of the various breads they make, especially their Jalapeño & Cheddar. If your out in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake you may want to check them out. You can find them in the shopping center with Target, Barnes & Noble & Best Buy.

What a pleasant surprise. I’ve driven past this place so many times and always thought it was just a Panera bread knockoff. smh boy was I wrong! We came on a thurs nite, it was kinda busy but we were seated immediately(no wait) and had a very polite and attentive waitress. I ordered the shrimp & Avocado salad and Canyon road Moscato both were exquisite! The salad was as fresh as fresh gets! I will definitely be back to try other items from the menu and if I have another wonderful experience I will update with 5 stars! Bread pudding score: B
