For our Christmas Luncheon, an employee brought the heavenly-light Yema rolls and the rich and crispy Cheese Rolls. Everyone raved about them. Where have you been all my life, Eriel’s Café? Look forward to visiting in person.

This little bakery next to seafood city market has excellent cheese rolls. I love Porto’s and I think this place has better cheese rolls. Bring cash!

These cheese rolls are incredible! I cannot wait to try the mango guava rolls(those have to be pre-ordered). The owners are very kind.

Love the cheese roll and the pandesal with cheese pimiento. Pastillas reminds me of the pastillas I used to eat when I was a kid. Everything is freshly baked! Got to try this place

I’ve been eyeing this place for quite awhile now, decided to try em out today because of Unilocal!Haha the pics got me The owner was very welcoming! The first thing she mentioned was the cheese rolls and she compared it to Portos, she gave us free sample and oh boy it was pretty bomb! I got the yema roll and mamon, haven’t tried it yet but they all look so good and ofcourse they’re freshly baked! The place is tiny but the baked goods are plenty! oh and they have cooked foods as well like pancit, filipino spaghetti and pasta salad! definitely a must! Can’t wait to come back and try more baked goods!

The cheese rolls are excellent! I can never stop eating them! So addicting. I love the inside of this place. It makes you feel very homey. I love their dozen box for $ 10.50 deal. It’s great for parties, gatherings, or fundraisers. The take-out service is also very convenient!

I stopped by this place to pick up some baked siopao for my cousin from ny, as chow king only had the steamed ones. They didn’t have siopao but DID have Adobo pandesal which was delicious! They also offered samples of their cheese rolls claiming that it was what made them famous… and they were absolutely right! Better than Porto ’ s :-)

Unda da sea, Unda da sea. Little Mermaid is not affiliated with the café, really. Eriel’s Café, brand spanking new with it’s second day being open, serves Filipino comfort foods in an intimate setting. Making my weekly trek to Valerio’s & Seafood City, my eyes spied the«Now Open» banner in front of Eriel’s Café. Always being interested in new places to eat locally, I waddled my way inside to see what Eriel’s has going on. Not having their full menu up & running just yet, I did get the chance to indulge in some of their specialties. Cheese rolls– Pastries that are addictively good! Crunchy dough with soft cheese on the inside. Perfect size to snack on, only costing $ 1 each or $ 10.50/ dozen. A must get! Grilled pan de sal($ 1.50) The highlight for me! House-made pan de sal, filled with your choice of adobo or corned beef(with more fillings to come, like sardines), then warmed in the toaster oven. I’m surprised I haven’t seen this available at more Filipino food joints. My only complaint is not ordering one with corned beef, too. Not too large & not too small, the grilled pan de sal is something that, like White Castle, can be ordered by the sackload. A welcome treat! Service was good. We were allowed to sample the cheese rolls, which facilitated our decision to partake of some. Seating is minimal, with a few tables and a comfy sofa to lounge on. A flatscreen TV is available for your viewing pleasure. When I was there, Shrek the Third or Shrek Forever After was playing. I dunno, I lost interest in the Shrek franchise after Shrek 2. Parking is in the Seafood City plaza, which can be limited during the busy hours. Eriel’s Café, I like what you had to offer on your second day open. The grilled pan de sal is a hit with me & your cheese rolls are indulgent treats that I’ll have a hard time staying away from. I can’t wait to come back for more, including your arroz caldo & champurrado. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
