The color, cut, and styling took about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Although there were other customers, I was not delayed in getting the care and attention.
I was told not to wash my hair on the days that I go through coloring process. They had to dry my hair for 30 minutes to make sure it was not wet. So, usually it would take about 2 hours to complete the process.
It is true that this salon is on the pricy side, the coloring chemicals seem not to damage my hair. In fact, my hair is so much smoother and shinier after the color treatment.
The salon itself is clean and welcoming. The owner of the salon really takes every effort and attention to her customer. I felt like I was getting a personalized service here.
She is attentive and experienced– she would know what to do with your hair and advice on what would look the best on you.
I would recommend this salon to anyone who want to get a full service with lots of attention!
Tips: I would not park in front of the salon because there are lots of cars passing by who are not good drivers. I kept checking out on the street to make sure no one damage my car.
Also, try to book an earliest appointment to get out on time.

I was tired of my boyfriend coming back from the barber with the WORST HAIRCUTS. However, with his weirdly shaped hair line I can understand how difficult it must be to work with his hair.
My mom recommended this place to him, and he’s getting compliments left and right for his hair now.

Wow I just hate the service in this place so much. The owner won’t let the others do anything other than sweep the floor or other menial tasks. Meanwhile the wait is unreal.
And the owner is just so rude. This is the last time I;ll ever consider going here.
I had an appointment for 3:30. She was done with the other lady at 3:50, then started chit chatting. They were laughing and hanging out. They wouldn’t wash my hair that whole time as I was waiting. There were two other workers too that did nothing. Then she took someone else that was waiting!!!
And she told me 10 more minutes at 4:25. No way. She is so rude. I hate this place.

Been coming here for two years. Price is competitive but service is great here. It can get busy at times (weekends) but i usually get my hair cut on weekdays after work. The owner is the only stylist but she always does a wonderful job so i have no complaints. I wouldnt come here if u are a guy and u just want a simple buzz cut or something (not worth the money).but if u want a haircut thats stylish — give it a shot!.. In case u missed it. im a guy so this review is from a guys pov.

I’ve been going here for a few months now and find it great. The lady that shampoos hair does a great job and I don’t have any problems with it at all.
Haircuts are quick and simple and I really like the way they turn out. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming so I’ll definitely be returning in the future.

So, I drove past this place thinking why not, let’s just try this place. WELL… the girl who washed my hair has no clue what she’s doing. When you wash someone’s hair you massage the scalp and thoroughly shampoo, condition, and rinse. This girl was afraid to touch my scalp so she just rubbed my hair up and down, and got water on my face, and because she was afraid to touch my scalp she didn’t wash the shampoo/​conditioner out. I then sat at the station with shampoo still in my hair and Ms. Han came over. I’ve been growing my hair out it WAS mid back length. I told her I just want a trim, keep the length, long layers, and side swept bangs. pretty straight forward. WELL, her technique or lack of was interesting. She brushed all my hair from the back to the front and just cut it similar to a bowl. I was looking like Cousin IT to give u an idea. Very strange. She was pulling and grabbing my hair snipping away. Then she cut my bangs but went WAYY too far into the side of my hair line so now it looks strange. When she finished she asked another «stylist» to come over and tag team blow drying my hair. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS DONE BEFORE! WTH. One lady on my right, another on my left, both literally throwing my hair in every direction and blow drying at the same time. Because I had air from both sides, my hair had a tornado effect. I HELD my laugh as much as possible. I was speechless. I didn’t even know how to react. I thought I was on some punk’d episode or something. At the end, my hair is FIVE inches shorter and she didn’t even blend the layers. she missed cutting the middle layers so my hair goes from a short layer straight to a long layer. It looks horrible, and my coworkers were like. oh you got a hair cut. SILENCE***. and said. Aren’t you supposed to have layers? you have like two. THANKS CHENEE HAIR SALON! I guess I have to spend some more money for a quality cut. Probably will go back to Salon Mint or try Elizabeth Arden Salon in Fairfax.

I LOVE Ms. Han. I had gotten a terrible haircut elsewhere and she fixed it beautifully. I am looking forward to my next appointment with her and as far as I’m concerned, she’s my hair stylist from now on. I’ve gone to several other hair salons in NOVA, and was never fully satisfied. Wish I had known about Chenee sooner!

Finally found a great place to get a great haircut. It’s tough to find a place that is really good at cutting coarse Asian hair, Ms. Han is awesome at it. Now, there is next to no english (almost all Korean) being spoken there but I go for the skill and not the conversation.
