Everything on the menu is amazing! From the Tabouli to the Pita’s to the Kebobs and Dessert, I like it all. My favorite is the Vegetarian Panini although I love the Chicken Panini too. Great service, authentic food. You can eat in or take it to go, both is good. Don’t forget the Baklava!

I really love this place. The falafels are crispy, hummus is fantastic. soup is great. I’ve tried a few other similar style eateries since eating here, but this one remains my favorite. The food is also consistent and they are flexible with my picky orders.

Food tastes good but is typically not hot. You have to remind them to give you the pita that’s included with the plate. Customer service is poor, and slow in general. It used to be a lot better.

The food is very good here and the service was very good. They have outside eating if the climate is right on that day. It’s a neat little place to stop for lunch and I would advise to do so if you are in the Southglenn Mall area.

I have been to several of the Mediterranean based fast casual places in the Denver area and so far this is my favorite. This is a local chain type place but you can tell that it is more like a family run place. The manager and even the cook came out and talked to the customers to make sure the experience and the food were good. The food quality is as good as you would expect from this level. Actually a bit better. There are good kids choices and the flavors beat their competitors by far. One example was the tabbouleh. It tends to be a bit tasteless at these types of chains but here it was fresh and flavorful. The food was good, the prices were fair, and the place was clean and pleasant along with great service. What more could you ask for?

Wow! Was really impressed with the amount of food and how delicious and fresh the food was. Came here for a late lunch with the family. I didn’t know what some of the food choices had for ingredients, and the gal that helped us was knowledgeable. Hubby and I ordered Saj plates. Yummy! We both were fans of the Baba Ganoush, Beef(super tender), and the spicy potatoes do have a kick to it! The kiddos shared a Saj-Manakeesh which is kinda like a quesadilla but with mozzarella & feta cheese on their flatbread. There was also a side salad included(hubby and I shared that). We did order a bag of chips for the kids to share, but it wasn’t needed. The kids just had some of our flat bread and some of our beef and hummus. Oh note: if you get some lettuce that counts as a side?! Whoops, that’s hardly a side for me. So I won’t do that next time. Lots of food… And delicious and fresh!

Run of the mill eastern Mediterranean place with bored staff. My wife got a small, very expensive salad($ 7 for a small bowl of lettuce? Really?) and we split a falafel appetizer that was tasty but nothing special. I had a kabob plate that was decent but far from exceptional. I had to return to the counter to get the pita I had paid for with my meal — not a big deal, but it shows an inattention to detail. Both the appetizer and entrée came with tiny bowls of dipping sauce that were insufficient in volume. Too pricy for what you get. Tzatziki’s just north and Shawarma just south on University serve far better food with better prices and people who seem to be generally happy to be working there. I won’t be back.

We first heard of Sajj two years ago and glad we did. The food is amazing. Get the Kabob platter Well Done and enjoy the crispy, juicy flavorful food. The customer service is great, it’s a casual dining and good is consistently good. Try it out.

I came to have dinner tonight on Thursday and arrived at 7:30 there was two customers outside the restaurant my wife and I were both ready to order food I asked for the euros and when he opened the pan there were maybe seven pieces of meat left and I asked him if he had a fresh fan since it didn’t look very appetizing the edges were curled over and veryvery dry. He argued with me the fact that it was warm and touched one of the pieces of meat as if I wanted to see if his fingers told me they were the right temperature he continued to load played up with the seven pieces of dried up euros slopped on the Thomas fixed up a salad and smiled and told me that the meet was fresh I won’t be back

At my son’s insistence, we went back today. Both the food and service were improved over previous visits. Chicken pitas and falafel were both good.

Seriously guys, what happened? You were awesome and we had a thing. Taste isn’t the same, service is mediocre. Please improve. Just go back to how you were a few months back. Did I say service was bad?

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Saw a sign on the door that they were closing at 5pm for the holiday, assumed that I was safe with it being 3pm. I walked in and all the chairs were up. The woman at the counter was not only rude, but gave me no time to view the menu. I ordered a chicken panini and got it «traditional» style which I assumed would include what was listed on the menu board. It did not include half the ingredients. Another set of customers entered and had been told by an employee outside that they were closed. Apparently having a catering order meant they were closing before the posted time. The service was utter garbage. The food itself, which I took to go, was disappointing at best. The rice was drier than any desert. The chicken tasted off. And the final blow was the tzatziki sauce. There was no sign of cucumber or dill and it was extremely runny. I will never visit this place again and highly recommend avoiding it if you’re looking for good mediterranean food.

This place would get 5 stars if i was only rating the food, but considering the customer service(or lack there of) I’m only giving Saj 2 stars. It seems that every time I come in I have to dispute charges that are made to my card. I am gluten free and instead of a pita I was told I could get extra salad. What they didn’t tell me was that I would be charged extra. When I brought this to the attention of the employee that served me, he mumbled something that I couldn’t understand and walked away. I thought he was going to get the manager, but no one ever came. Really!!! I then took my food outside to enjoy some fresh air, but then then another employee came out and sat at the table closest to the door to smoke. Not very professional at all. The only employee that actually seems to genuinely care is the lady with dark hair and a pleasant smile. Lastly, they totally skimp on portion sizing. I’m all of 110 lbs wet and I’m complaining that they don’t portion their food out correctly. As much as I hate to say it(because the food really is great) I’ll take my business elsewhere.

We’ve been coming here for months, because we like the food, but I just finally decided that enough is enough when it comes to customer service this place is ridiculous. We have had multiple issues in all the times we’ve frequented here — again because we like the food — and every time there is an issue. Either the food is cold, there’s a hair in the food, the rewards card will not register and they cannot look anything up by phone number, things like that. In all the time we’ve been coming to this place, we have yet to get a single point for our purchases on our rewards card because their system doesn’t ever work and they refuse to look up our account by phone number. And there’s always some young lanky douchebag kid in his 20’s working there that is totally incapable of listening, hearing, paying attention, offering customer service, solving problems, communicating — just anything. I cannot understand why he works there, or how he keeps his job. The only thing he can do is scoop food(hardly), mumble, and barely use the register. That’s it. And yet the management or owners of this location keep him employed and giving their business a bad reputation. It’s idiotic. The bottom line here is that the customer service here is bad enough for me to stopping about the food and coming to this location on York St. whatsoever. We’ve complained, brought it to their attention, and we’ve given them ample opportunities to up their game and be decent. But the kid never gets trained to do better — or simply never becomes good at his job on his own accord and needs lessons on being a human. We will not ever bother going back. I’ve wasted too much money for poor service. Sad to say they lost a good paying couple of customers all because they hire morons who can’t do anything right. With the prices we pay for the food, they can afford decent employees if they cared to. (I will say: the Asian woman that works there is actually the only one who knows what she’s doing. She was great! But sadly we hardly ever were there when she was.) Peace, Saj! We’re moving all of our business to Fel Fel Mediterranean on Tamarack. Let me know if you ever choose to take your business seriously! Farewell.

It’s good food for Mediterranean. There are a lot of choices to dine in the streets of south glen. This place is a 4 out of 5. Some menu items have great flavor and some are just ok. It’s pretty consistent. Have eaten here 4 or 5 times and it’s decent. A little more expensive than garbanzos but still a decent value.

The food is great. I’ve had Pitas, wraps, and plates. All are very tasty and I especially like the jalapeño and chili sauces. The falafel is very crispy on the outside and soft inside. perfect…I’ll hold back my criticism because apparently expecting people smile and enjoy helping you is passé these days. If you want a great lunch but don’t care about service give this place a shot.

I’m a really big Mediterranean cuisine girl. I think the food is delicious and I’m a huge fan. In terms of fast food Mediterranean style, I think Saj is very average compared to Garbanzo’s. But, it isn’t an awful place to have a quick bite to eat. I would come here if I’m craving fast Mediterranean cuisine and I’m not feeling Garbanzo’s. If you’ve ever been to Garbonzo’s, Saj is very similar. It’s the type of place where you choose your entrée and the sides that go with it. If you haven’t been to Garbanzon’s, Saj is like the Mediterranean Chipotle. I think that the food here is very fair and it can be tasty. I do like to differentiate my visits with the saj bread and the pita bread, so I’m glad that they have both options available. I like the texture of the beef protein, but I dislike that it feels and tastes so oily/greasy. But, that seems to be my only complaint. For a chain/fast food place, Saj is pretty solid in terms of food. Just don’t come here expecting a 4⁄5 meal.

This is one of our favorite places for a Sunday afternoon lunch. Management is super kind, and is always ready to hand out free samples. Atmosphere is wonderful. Great brand and easy easting environment. When weather permits, it is best to sit outside. On to the food. The plates are where it’s at. Huge amount of food for a great cost, and really let’s you sample a bit of everything. I love the beef, the spicy humus, potatoes, salad and tabouli. It’s my goto mean every time I am there. So much«difference» on the plate that I never even need to branch out! Give it a shot. It makes Garbanzos feel corporate and«fast food». It is the place to be.

So it’s been really hard to find decent Mediterranean food out here in Colorado. Being from so cal where the ethnics food scene is limitless, Mediterranean is one of my favs and something I crave frequently. A good gyro, tender kabobs, and falafel go a long way for me. All that being said, Saj is pretty good, the best I’ve had so far in Colorado, and the Mediterranean options are few and far in between. Don’t even bother with Garbanzos. Most of the time, I make my own hummus and falafel at home but when I crave a good gyro, you’ll likely find me trekking down south to go to Saj.

The service is good, but the food could use some improvement. My main problem was with the temperature of the food. Everything was ice cold. It would be great if the pitas and meat were heated up before hand. Lots of greek places heat up their stuff on a grill prior to serving. Just doing that would have been a huge improvement(and I know I could have gotten the food done in a panni, but it wasn’t what I wanted.) Beyond that, the meat and foods were pretty good, well seasoned, fresh and pretty tasty… just ice cold.
