I heard about this place from many friends from work.(this being my first time) One of my favorite things is Campechana, so we gave it a try, we also ordered a couple carne asada tacos for later, also some chips and salsa. all to go. the campechana was probably my favorite and one of the best around… it’s packed with shrimp and octopus with a ton of avocado and the best sauce I’ve had in a cocktail. We will be back to try more of our favorites again soon. UPDATE: UNFORTUNATELYITLOOKSASIFTHEYHAVESHUTTHEDOORSONTHISPLACE. =(

I live close by and order food to go from here quite often. The food is good, authentic. I absolutely love the shrimp cocktail. The taco are awesome. This place is family friendly, the few times I have dined in the service was good as well. I think they also offer entertainment on the weekends as well. Large menu selection moderately priced.

Mr Patron has been open for about six months, and I have driven by it a bunch but have never stopped. Today I was going by and I was actually pretty full from having eaten not too long before at Taqueria Tlaquepaque, but I decided to to stop and meet Mr. Patron. What a great decision of mine. Now I just need to go back when I am more hungry. Mr. Patron is part Mexican restaurant and part Mexican nightclub with a full bar and entertainment. They do Karaōke on Tuesday and Sunday nights. There is a bunch of off street parking and the room is large clean and inviting. The music was slightly too loud, but after tasting the food, I did not care. The staff was very helpful and incredibly friendly. I HIGHLY suggest that you drive to Ramon and Landau to try the amazing homemade chorizo which was slightly spicy, amazingly well seasoned for great flavor with nice large chunks of pork. I also HIGHLY suggest the Ensenada style very lightly battered pescado tacos, which were some of the best fish tacos I have found in the valley. The Adobada was good but needed some kick to get them into the great category. The Nachos were spectacular according to my daughter. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
