Very helpful and friendly staff at this location. I came in looking for specific product and quickly helped and was even signed up for membership.

Quiet store and I never have a problem finding what I want. One of the employees told me they can’t have music playing, so it makes for too much quiet. That’s kind of an idiotic rule. Music might help the store feel.

It’s 7:32pm on a Saturday and the door is locked. Your store hours on the front says 8pm. Thanks for making it a wasted trip.

Solid GNC location with helpful staff and a good selection of protein bars. They have slowly created more shelf space for Quest products which is what I specifically come in for so that is a definite plus!
They have a good number of samples at the register while you check out so you can try different vitamins while you pay.
There is always a good deal on the Quest products and GNC branded products when you use your gold card. The price of the card years ago well paid for itself with the deals I get.
My only request is they restock the apple pie Quest bars more often. They usually are sold out of the boxes when I arrive.

It was more important for the 2 employees to help the non-​minority than for 1 to ask me if I needed help looking for something. Or maybe if one of them said will be right with you I would’ve waited but the fact that it was more important for TWO employees to help ONE person & leave me hanging like I didn’t matter showed me that Castro Valley is always gonna be Castro Valley LOL. Go to the other GNC’s, those are way better than this one.:)

The employees were extremely helpful and attentive. We talk through all supplements I was taking, my results, performance objectives and narrowed down a few supplements I should try out. All recommendations were of first account of what worked for the employee. I am was very satisfied with the recommendations.

This specific GNC is ok. I’ve never had any employees try to sell me any of their overpriced crap, which is always great. One thing to note is that because it’s not a high traffic location, they often have an abundance of sale items. I usually take advantage of the discounted protein bars and RTD’s (Ready To Drinks). But remember, because it’s not a high traffic location, their inventory is not as extensive. So if you’re unsure of the availability of an item, always call beforehand.
