This is the BEST Spa cuisine I have ever experienced. Reasonably priced, good size portions, a nice variety as well. One of the nicest things about the spa café is the service, Janelle is so friendly, professional and attentive you would think you were dinning at a five star steak house! She remembered me after only 2 visits and knows what I order. I always look forward to the spa and enjoying the café.

Since it was 12:15 and our friend had a spa service, we went right to the café for a much needed drink and lunch. We sat there for about 10 minutes before anyone even paid attention to us! Once we ordered a drink, we decided to order lunch and let them know we had a service in 30 minutes. We didn’t get our drinks until 12:58! Our friends obviously had to leave for her treatment! 30 minutes for DRINKS? WOW. We told the staff to take her drink and lunch back because she had to leave. The beer that was served to one friend was wrong and in a completely DIRTY glass, it was disgusting! At the end of our lunch the waitress told us that she had 8 tables sit at one time, that she was sorry. She took our last drinks off the tab, which was nice and a good move for the sake of the spa. But, it didn’t stop there. She said that when our girlfriend was done with her treatment to come let her know and her meal and drink will be remade and taken to the pool where we were headed. Once or friend was out she did just that, at 2:10. At 3:05 she still had no drink and no food. Ridiculous. If we didn’t say anything she would have waited even longer! La Costa Spa was clearly understaffed and we had to suffer because of it. Although we enjoyed each other’s company, it definitely made or visit stressful and NOT relaxing! Thumbs down!

Hands down the best food at the resort. A bit spendy, but delicious and mostly healthy selection. Everything was very fresh, well prepared and presented. This just added to the amazing spa experience. The only bad part it the limited hours that it is open. Only 11 – 4.

Spa café at la costa Is great. When You book an appointment between 12 – 2 you get a voucher got a drink and lunch. 30 $ value, you may eat by the pool or spa café. Food is good. Basic salads.

Relaxing and beautiful. You are seated right next to the courtyard of the spa. The service was great. The food was better than I expected. The mango quinoa lettuce cups were healthy and beyond fabulous! Tip make sure to have a Bellini.

Beautiful setting, delicious food, reasonable prices for a spa café. The courtyard is beautifully landscaped and peaceful, with an herb garden where they grow herbs for the dishes. You can either take your lunch at tables in the courtyard right in front of the café, or by the pool(we opted for the latter since it was a gorgeous day) We shared the grilled chicken lettuce wrap, and it was amazing — plenty of chicken breast, cooked perfectly, with carrots, cucumber, radish sprouts, on a big chunk of tender Bibb lettuce w/the most amazing dressing/dipping sauce — peanut, cilantro and ginger. I would love to get the recipe or try to replicate it. It came w/2 big wraps — enough for my husband and I to share — for just $ 15. They also have an assortment of bellinis — we tried the classic w/peach purée, the raspberry thyme(my favorite) and blood orange — and they were all great, just $ 9(as opposed to the $ 15 cocktails at the main splash pool). Noticed afterward that you can actually get an entire bottle of champage for $ 18($ 49 for Vueve Clicuot). You need to be a guest of the spa(have booked a massage or other service, or purchase a spa day pass) to eat at the Café, but if you’re there, be sure to check it out.
