Thank you soooooooooooo much for having vegan options. I really loved your deep-dish vegan pizza!

Have never eaten at the restaurant. Always do carry-out. The honey on the crust is what makes this pizza.

While this pizzeria gets 5 stars for the service, great tasting and FABULOUS pizza and all around ambience, I wish I could give whoever delivers their pizza 1 star. The reason is because I ordered a pizza from Patxi’s off of Eat24 and although the pizza was confirmed to arrive in 40 minutes it ended up arriving almost an hour and a half later! That is totally UNACCEPTABLE and I don’t what gives with that but it is kind of a bummer when you want to eat your pizza and you’re expecting it at a reasonable time but when it arrives LATE it kinda kills the mood. That being said the actual manager-on-duty was the one who delivered my pizza to me and surprise! It was still fresh and good and EXACTLY like a Patxi’s pizza should look and taste like… although I never knew until now how much garlic they put in their tomato sauce(I’m sure my Mother who absolutely HATES garlic will be staying far away from me tonight when I see her for dinner ;) I ate 3 slices of a Medium pizza and I was stuffed. Patxi’s Pizza really hits the spot like no other pizzeria can. The pizza is great, the service is great, the restaurant is awesome, but NEVER, NEVER, NEVER get it delivered! Just my two cents. Thanks again Patxi’s!

Until Tuesday night I never had pizza delivered to my new house. When I’m at home I cook, when I’m not I eat out, but there’s this hybrid thing called food delivery, you stay home, they cook and bring it to you. So how did it go? Like most first times it was clumsy, awkward and didn’t leave everybody completely satisfied. Will I try it again? Sure. Honestly, it was the Unilocal«order now» button that coaxed me into this situation. I was looking for a new pizza place to try, Paxti’s was well reviewed and I was gonna go there, then curiosity kicked in, what if I click that order now button, what does it do? The experience was slick, I was gonna bail as soon as I didn’t like the process but the flow was there, all the way to the end so I checked out. I have let the provisions at home dwindle a bit, don’t want to shop until the weekend, so I picked a monster 14-inch deep dish ‘za, half-and-half to avoid boredom, thinking this would cover at least a lunch and another dinner worth of leftovers. I threw in the artichoke dip appetizer to seal the deal. Then I received the email confirmation: your order will arrive in 90 minutes. Awww, that’s a long time to wait, but okay. So I waited, somewhat patiently, I only clicked the update order status link a couple-three times. To my surprise the doorbell rang(so that’s what my doorbell sounds like, first time hearing it) at around the one hour mark. They were early. Yesss! A friendly, awesome driver gave me my stuff and I went inside to get my grub on. At first glance the pie looked smaller than 14 inches, maybe shrinkage in the oven? Maybe they are on the metric system and round down in conversion? Still, the pie had some heft to it, I didn’t expect to starve, so I dug in, first snapping a pic for my Unilocal people. But wait, with red sauce all over the top, covering the pie, how would I tell which half of my half-and-half I would be getting? Unsure I resolved to engage in a game of deep dish roulette. Grabbed a slice, bit in and said, «DAFUQ?!?» I didn’t order this. It has stuff that I didn’t order. Suddenly it occurred to me that given the smaller size pizza and the different toppings this may not be my pizza. So I looked at the tag on the side, it said«MATTCAIN» so for a nanosecond, I was like, «sweet, I got SF Giants ace pitcher Matt Cain’s pizza and he got mine. There was an address on the tag too. Oh snap, Ima go to Matt Cain’s house deliver his ‘za and get an autograph or something.» Then I remembered that was the name of one of Paxti’s specialty pies on the menu. Deflated… So I called the store, a little pissed. It doesn’t take much, I’m not that nice really. «Choose option 2 if you are calling about an existing order.» So I did. After a minute on hold, CLICK, dialtone. Try again, Option 2 again, hold one minute, CLICK. So third try, option 1, order a new pizza, yeah, I’m not ordering a new pizza, but if this doesn’t work I’m driving over there in full-on Hulk mode. Somebody answered finally, put me on hold a few times, the voices on the other end changed each time, then finally, they gave me The Wolf. He chilled me out, «so sorry, sir, the driver grabbed the wrong one, we’re gonna take care of you, keep that pizza, also yours is still here, it’s coming to you now and will be there directly…» Less than 10 minutes later, my OGpie. Same nice driver, apologizing profusely, he meant it. I was going to tip him extra but he bolted before I could. Now we’re at about the 90 minute mark they initially promised and I have waaay too much food. In fact, it’s Friday, and I’m eating the second-to-last slice as I type this. The leftovers have held up well, but I’m tired of pizza by now. The appetizer I ordered, the artichoke dip with garlic crostini was not very good. It had peppers in it, but tooo many, they dominated the flavor profile. All three types of pizza I tried were good, it turns out the Matt Cain was my favorite. Paxti’s Chicago deep dish pizzas are made«redhead style» which means toppings are stuffed inside and a thick layer of red sauce is layered on top. This is not my go-to style, but I get it sometimes, especially if I’m really hungry because it is substantial to say the least. I would say Paxti’s definitely makes a credible red head deep dish. The red sauce was good, but I would need to have it several more times for it to grow on me. I find most sauces to be like that, their RNA needs to splice into our DNA through gradual repetition. Sauces imprint themselves on us, it’s usually our mama or grandmama’s curry, red sauce or bbq sauce that everything else is measured by. High standards indeed. Overall, the experience was not good, but the food was and the staff at Paxti’s did a good job of fixing their problem so I give them a soft four. Why? I’m usually so harsh in these situations. Is this the beginning of a kinder, gentler me? Nah, I doubt it, even the Devil has his off days…

Patxi is one of the best Pizza establishments in the Bay Area and I’m glad one is in Campbell. Their pizza is extremely delicious and very very cheesey with a good amount of meat stuffed in it. The bar itself is also amazing to hang out with a friend. But all this is only possible by such an outstanding staff. Overall its the damn best pizza place in the Bay. .. period! Also if you have a disagreement about this place, than f***-you and your desire for cheap Domino’s pizza.

We had a wonderful time dining at this place. The waitress, Claudia, is very attentive and humorous. At her recommendation, we tried the Greek salad and ordered a 10-inch deep dish pizza, half Greek and half sausage. That was more than enough for 2 people to share on hungry stomachs. Everything was absolutely delicious. We were especially impressed by the high quality ingredients and wonderful services by the waitress. The salad was especially refreshing given the extremely fresh lettuce, olives, and feta cheese. The deep dish pizza definitely did not disappoint, and we were especially delighted by the rich tomato sauce and well-cooked pizza and crust. It is also interesting that they offer honey as a way to finish off the crusts as «dessert.» I prefer eating them with the spicy olive oil instead though. Note that the pizza does take a good amount of time to cook; I think we waited about 30 minutes for our deep dish pizza. So I do recommend that people order salad or appetizers during the wait. We would definitely come back and try more other flavors, and we are happy to finally find a great pizza place for take-out in the future!

One of the best pizzas I’ve had bar none. Deep dish was insanely satisfying. Well worth the money and experience. I experienced the pizza with a cold and could still taste the quality and flavor. The staff was overly friendly and made sure to accommodate every need.

I had a couple good experiences with Paxti but Recently I spent 65 bucks on two large Matt Cain pizzas for my family and when we got them it was frustrating trying to eat them. I don’t know what happened because my first experiences were fine and then this last time I ordered everyone was disappointed in my choice. Nobody ever lets me order this place anymore. I tell them to give it another try but they said its not worth another try because they know other pizza places they know they like. My family says it was hard to eat, it fell apart, and it was doughy.

Went to Patxis at the Pruneyard to celebrate my 20th birthday with a couple friends, I arrived with them around 7:30 and placed an order for a deep dish with the server since it takes nearly an hour to make and we waited for others to arrive. At around 9:30 the server asked if we’d like to order anything and I asked him how the pizza was doing since we waited nearly 2 hours. After 20 minutes of «checking» he came back to say the order was never pushed through to the kitchen and he would rush it out in 30 minutes. Luckily there are taquerias open that late because I was over it. Got the check and got some tacos. I probably won’t be returning to this location just because of this bad experience, it sucks to be a customer and be forgotten about. UPDATE: I was reached out to and I was apologized to, which shows that they want all customers to be satisfied. Will revisit and see if visit experience changes.

The photos of the food on their website do not reflect what you will actually receive. 2. pizzas and 2 salads delivered $ 97.05 … the pizzas were ok… the salads were a lettuce in a box.

Great food and excellent customer service. Very friendly, warm environment. Full house but not so crowded customer service is not jeopardized. Great place to meet for a first date. Family friendly. 5÷1÷2016 I’ve been going to Patxis when I want to go eat and have a great drink. Tonight I was extremely hurt and disappointed. I was told I couldn’t have another Champagne after being there for 4 hrs. And had 4 champagnes and water. I wasn’t drunk I had eaten there. I will not be coming back again. I looked at my statement and I have spent a lot of money there… I mean a lot! The best part of going there was Niccole, but something tells me she might behind this. I am writing this right after leaving. Do I sound drunk? I’m not! Desiree is the one who cut me off. I will not be back there again. I feel very hurt, I thought these guys would tell me at least privately and not in front of the people I was sitting with. Just thought you should know a friendly great paying customer will not be back. I tipped above and beyond what I should have. I feel very sad.

Pretty good for deep dish pizza. A group of 14 of us came on a weekend around 3PM, and they seated us in the back room. The waitress gave her recommendations(without us even asking!) and was super nice and cheerful(she recommended the special and the BBQ chicken if you were wondering). I shared the 10-inch special with another person, and we still had 1⁄3 of the pizza left at the end. Way too much food! The flavor was alright, just a lot of sauce and cheese though. Crust was good; our waitress taught us how to eat it: get rid of all the tomato sauce and put honey and chili oil on it. It was actually pretty tasty that way. Anyway, there’s not much flavor which is basically what I’m giving it 3-stars for. Not the cheapest either, post-tax for our 10-inch was around $ 24, and it takes a while for the pizzas to come out.

Second time here. I pre ordered the pizza to avoid the 45 min bake time. Unfortunately, I got there late and they had to re-hear the pizza so the crust was toasted and not fluffy like I remember it. But either way the pizza was good. The tomato sauce is flavorful and pizza was loaded with all other ingredients. I really love eating the crust with the honeyyyyy: D

I love deep dish pizza as much as the next guy, but it has to be one of the most overrated dishes to come out of the Midwest. For every bite into a delightful two inch thick crust, you also risk choking on globs of cheese and drowning in a pool of tomato sauce. Patxi’s has this down pat, serving some of the best deep dish pizza in the bay area. The pizzas are pricey, but they’re not expensive for what they are. They also take forever to make — at least 45 min, although we waited for well over that. This, too, is normal. Expect to wait at least 15 – 30 minutes more than the time they quote you, if you’re lucky. Dine in, take out, or delivery… expect to wait… and wait… and wait. Patxi’s deep dish pies are very good(order the Matt Cain). But for me, they’re just not worth the time or the money.

I have eaten in restaurant before with mediocre service and good food. Ordered from doordash and got a dinner salad($ 8), when it arrived it was literally five prices of lettuce with barely any toppings. Probably won’t go here again unless friends want to

So the bartender remembers«MY» experience differently? What the hell is she psychic? How did she get in my head? I wrote you another response to the email address as requested, still no reply. I admire you sticking up for your employees/girlfriend but that doesn’t change my «customer experience». My review was not intended to get anyone in trouble. I just shared with you what my experience was in your restaurant. Feedback is valuable in any form, sorry you felt it was directed at your employees, it wasn’t. Just fix yo shit man…

I love Chicago style deep dish pizza and this place does it mostly right. I wouldn’t put it above Zachary’s another Bay Area deep dish location, but it’s not too far behind. The location is in a strip mall in Campbell, but don’t hold it against this place as they can make a mighty fine pizza. Deep dish does take awhile to make, so expect a good 40 minute wait, so be prepared to chat it up with whomever you’re spending your time with. The first pizza they brought out had a wrong topping on it, but they were kind enough to make us another pizza to take home with the correct toppings. Very classy and nice. The wine here is also pretty good for the price you pay. It’s deep dish pizza guys. Come and get it.

We really enjoy their deep dish pizzas. The basic Favorite with Pepperoni, Olives and Mushroom can’t be beat. Very good crust, tomato sauce and cheese. Definitely one of our indulgences when we feel like pigging out on comfort food! If you call in for takeout, the time they give you to arrive is wrong for some reason. For deep dish pizzas, actually only takes about ½ hour, maybe 45 min if busy to cook, but they’ll tell you to come in 1 hour. I think their POS system is programmed to give customers the«delivery» time window, not self pickup timing… FYI.

DEEPDISHVEGAN? Hell yes. It was my SO’s birthday. He is a huge pizza fanatic. This restaurant was along our path on our road trip home from LA. They served something rare, something the New Yorker in me haven’t even tried yet; deep dish pizza! AND its vegan?! Ofcourse we came to celebrate here! We were seated within a few minutes upon entering. Our server was pretty friendly. The drinks came out right away– I ordered their homemade Lemonade and the server warned me it may be too sour but they offered simple syrup if requested. Pucker up! It was quite sour, but in a fresh and nice way. I definitely enjoyed the way it came! The pizza on the other hand, took as long as long as other reviews have mentioned; 40 minutes! Do not come here starving. I repeat, DONOTCOMEHUNGRY. When the pizza finally did arrive, my doubts of whether it was big enough for the two of us vanished. We ordered the biggest size they offered; 14″ deep for a hefty price of $ 30. The smell of the fresh roasted garlic on top of the sauced up pizza layered with spinach, onion, and Daiya cheese on a extra thick wheat crust was pure pizza heaven! The long wait was worth it as soon as we took a bite. It was hot, filling, tasty, and oh so cheesy. They did not skimp on the cheese at all! I almost had to double-take and question myself if this was indeed the vegan pizza. Rest assured was confirmed vegan. My SO was defeated on his third slice so we took remainder home. If you love pizza, than you need to go here. Try the Vegan pizza even if your not Vegan! It taste super good AND is better for you– says the New Yorker in me.(Please ignore the fact deep dish originated in Chicago, hehe.) Also IMO, cold pizza is best pizza.(Please don’t kill me.) I tried a slice of the leftovers, and the flavors just come out even better. Try one for yourself :)

I want to give Patxi’s a higher rating, but my entire party got sick. We all got upset stomaches and some of us got diarrhea. Woo, thanks Patxi’s! I was raving to my girlfriend about a previous visit I had to Patxi’s in SF and how the deep dish was bomb. The same could be say of my last visit. We all really enjoyed the deep dish and wanted more. It tasted so good and so soft. We got the BBQ chicken and we really enjoyed the subtleness of the BBQ chicken. It was nice that it wasn’t overbearing with hella BBQ sauce, but the BBQ taste came purely from the chicken. The pizza will take a while to cook so sit tight, maybe grab an appetizer. Unfortunately, all of us were able to pinpoint Patxi’s as the meal that screwed us over. It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly from the meal got us, but there’s another review here that mentions a similar situation. Perhaps it was undercooked? Regardless we feel better, but it’s no excuse.

I wish I could give a better review for Patxi’s, considering I have visited other Patxi locations and loved my experience and the food. Unfortunately, this past visit was less than sub-par. It was a fine evening, and we ordered the artichoke dip, and the thin crust bianco verde pizza. I’m usually not a picky eater, or critical about my dining experiences, but I suppose I can thank Unilocal for this change of heart(now, I am quite particular in my reviews!). The pizza came out before the artichoke dip. What? The artichoke dip is an appetizer… but it came out 5 minutes after the main course. Interesting. The artichoke dip comes with a few bread crisps.(YUM!) BUT, these were rock solid. My boyfriend and I probably chipped our teeth trying to take bites out of it. Still, we finished them, but to the dismay of our jaws. The pizza was OK(we usually order thick crust, but didn’t want to wait), but even then, the crust was a little stale and harder than what I recall from the past. So unfortunate! Because we had some leftover artichoke dip, we asked for more crisps. Well, they graciously gave us a side of focaccia bread. GREAT! But then, out came a whopping 2 slices. What? I couldn’t believe it. Generous on their portions? Hardly. To top it off, our waitress decided to disappear in the middle of our meal, so I had to ask for another server! It was a pretty disappointing dining experience. Hope next time is better.
