Let me start off by saying I’ve been a coffee bean girl since day one. I never liked Starbucks. I began at the west hills location which the staff there are basically like family, but moved over to calabasas location once I moved. I am here every single day without fail I have never once missed a day to get my delicious breakfast. I love the staff here, although there are a few that don’t accommodate well. There is a sign right above where you get your drink that states they will GLADLY remake your drink if you don’t like it. I get the exact same thing every day and I always go back and say can you please fold it and the two specific workers look at me and roll their eyes so hard. I’m not asking for the world just a spoon in my drink? Yes I could easily do it myself but I’ve probably ordered this drink 500 times in the past year just at this location and they still get frustrated with me every time. Makes me feel guilty for even asking when I come here and give them my money plus a generous tip because I love coffee bean so much !! Not cool.

I’d give this location 3.5 stars, mainly because they don’t have enough outlets and the parking lot is way to small (although that’s certainly not their fault). The staff is very nice and pleasant, and it’s a brighter environment than Starbucks. This plaza is very congested though, which is probably the main downside since you don’t necessarily want to circle the lot just to get a cup of coffee. Coffee Bean does have a good selection of drinks, particularly their teas.

This is my go-​to coffee bean. The service is always fast and they make my drink perfectly! So glad that you can always count on this location to deliver!

I really like this location because of the staff. They’re always really friendly and helpful. I usually avoid morning rush hour because they can be a bit slammed but I would definitely recommend coming here to get your coffee fix! Love that they use powder instead of syrups for flavoring because the powder gives it a richer flavor. Just a side note, they add dine-​in tax if you order your food and drink «for here,» so I usually just take mine to-​go. I always order the hazelnut latte with half powder. I found the full scoops of powder to be too sweet. The hazelnut latte is super full in flavor and has just the right sweetness. I also really enjoy their ice blended drinks. The white chocolate mocha is yummy! Just don’t look at the calories!

Meh. I love coffee. No, you don’t understand; I mean, I really LOVE coffee. And I love coffee shops. I do my best to support all of them (ok, really I’m supporting my habit, but whatever). I’ve been to these CBTL shops all over CA and I have yet to find one that actually wants customers to stay and enjoy coffee or tea.
I look for a few things in my coffee shops
1) warm, welcoming environment
2) friendly, polite baristas
3) wifi, it’s 2015
I look for a few things to make a good coffee
1) good coffee
2) hot coffee
3) readily available cream
This spot was conveniently located as I made a long drive from the CA coast to AZ. And, the coffee is okay. But, they could use some help in service staff and atmosphere. The staff were distracted (mostly by gossiping about the work schedule) and were in mostly in a hurry to get us out of their way. 3 stars, mostly for convenience.

Tried the mocha ice blended with their new affogato shot and turned out amazing! No whip just the way it is! Almond milk for the win!

Whenever I am in Calbasas I enjoy coming to this coffee bean. This coffee bean is located in a strip with plenty private lot parking. The staff here is super friendly with a smile. I love the fact this coffee bean is always fully staffed.
This location is always busy. They are super fast by getting your order getting done. If you are a person who has not patient you will love here. They are very hard workers who get you in and out in no time. Hands down one of the best coffee beans around.

What do you want a quick tea or coffee and you’re in the Calabasas area stop off at this coffee Bean! The staff is quick with your drink and the tea is extra hot without having to ask for a maid to order Scottish large tea latte. This is my drink of choice and I basically stop off at every coffee bean in Los Angeles to getmy fix. I will be coming back what I am back in old town Calabasas for a quick meal.

I enjoy coming here. Everybody is always in such an upbeat mood and they are on top of everything. I do have a favorite though and that’s jessica. Always a smile on her face and just plain on point and efficient. Soon as I’m walking toward the door to enter she gets started on my order it seems. I believe she recently got promoted and is a shift supervisor now which couldn’t have happened to a nicer person. Well deserved! I’ll go to any coffee bean but this is my go to spot!

Those lines from the movie «The Hangover» play in my head every time I see a Coffee Bean sign… and that is when I’m out west. it’s unfortunate this chain is not in Chicago, and I demand an expansion… please & thank you. I love the coffee here! I’ve visited locations in Cali & out in Las Vegas and my most recent visit was to this location in Calabasas as I was staying at The Anza, practically next door. Good quality coffee here… my visit was fine well during the busy Friday morning rush. Again, I wish these were in the Chicago area.

I have been coming to this «Coffee Bean» on and off for the pass couple of weeks. I tend to switch off from the one on Platt and to this one in Calabasas. I’ve noticed that the morning crew at «The Coffee Bean» in Calabasas is much more helpful, friendly, welcoming and bubbly in the morning (at 5:40 am), then the one on Platt. I will not go into «The Coffee Bean» on Platt in The mornings just because I don’t feel welcomed as I feel welcomed at the one in Calabasas.

Stumbled on this location because the Von’s entire Plaza including Starbucks power was out. Everyone was so friendly and explained a few drinks to me and after ordering a con Panna and being a bit confused on what it was they offered to make me a new drink and we’re so nice about it too. I just had it tipped off with coffee and it turned out perfectly. The team was fast, friendly and professional!

My local shop if a mtg of New Acquaintances or Oldfriends requires a rendezvous pt. there is Wii fii hotspot but they ll have posted the code/​password on the monitor like most locations. And if you re into the Geocache ’ g there was a small/​to very small stash close by.

The staff at this location is wonderful. They are friendly, helpful, efficient, and pretty quick. The problem here is the customers. I have never seen such a bunch of spoiled, miserable, entitled and just plain nasty customers. I have been here many times and on several occasions I have witnessed the poor employees of this store having to deal with crap from customers who must feel that they can abuse anyone unfortunate enough to be charged with serving them. Come on people, the employees here are just trying to make a few (very few) bucks. Have a little patience and understanding. I really am embarrassed by some of these (probably) locals.

I love this place! This is one of my favorite coffee places in the area. The coffee of choice is the winter chai latte. It has the perfect sweetness and taste that will get your energy up and ready to continue the day. Javier and Allegra provide great service and do a great job remembering who you are as well as your usual order of choice. They also have wifi so you can bring the ipad, net book or laptop and enjoy a coffee while working or surfing.
Parking is a non issue sine they have a lot and validation.

It’s very difficult for me to write a bad review for CBTL because this is my coffee place of choice whenever I’m out and about. Typically the products I order are consistent, taste good, and is made with great efficiency and care.
My first experience at this Calabasas location was just terrible. I mean it was AWFUL. The issues from my experience probably stemmed from a combination of the system being down with to the long line on a Saturday morning (the long line might have been caused by the system being down). Anyways, when I stepped in line there were about 5 people ahead of me. It took me nearly 20 minutes to reach the cashier! It was only after I placed my order that I was informed that it was cash only? Why not put a sign up to warn people before standing in line? Luckily I happened to have a couple of bucks in my wallet and my wife had some spare change to pay for our order…
Now for the drinks. I wait patiently as I see 4 barristas process orders. 20 minutes of wait time and I was able to witness 3 errors with other peoples orders. Mostly small stuff and people shrugged off but my issue was with the attitude the barristas were giving the customers. There was an incident where the barrista made an error, the customer wanted a new drink, and the barrista snatched the coffee he incorrectly made and tossed it into the sink caused a big coffee mess! He hastily remade her drink and didn’t say a word to the mortified customer as he handed her a replacement.
My drink was a train wreck itself. My coffee was not made with soy (as I had ordered and paid for) and did not have an ounce of mocha flavoring. I even took a sip of it, ask the barrista if this was indeed a soy mocha and was told that it was. After witnessing what had happened to the other customer I decided not to argue, I took my incorrect order, threw it in the trash and walked out.
In all I paid $ 4 to wait 45 minutes for a terrible tasting/​incorrect coffee. Everyone is entitled to a bad day especially when something like the computer system is the cause of the frustration. My guess is that I was unlucky because all of my other CBTL experiences have normally been great. I’m still a die hard for CBTL but I’ll probably avoid this location in the future.
