Great customer service!!! Love going there. Even though they are always busy, the baristas are always happy and upbeat. Great attitude.

Very cozy café in a picturesque old town calabasas. The WiFi was fast and the coffee good. A nice stopover for an afternoon break while driving from Santa Barbara

The staff here is so friendly! Very approachable, easy to talk to and will get you what you need. I had a chai latte and it was one of the best I’ve had.

Absolutely amazing cappuccino! Being a coffee connoisseur, addict and moving from Europe it has been hard to find a decent coffee in the Valley. This cozy spot just made my life aromatic again!

10 Speed is tucked away behind Peddlers Fork in Calabasas. It was hard to find at first but was well worth the hunt. Parking has been pretty easy to find in the mornings and early afternoons when I’ve visited. This place, hands down, makes the best cup of almond milk latte I’ve ever had! The quality of both the coffee and almond milk they use is apparent. The staff is pretty friendly and they clearly have a regular morning crowd. I usually make my coffee at home because I am not impressed with coffee at most places but 10 Speed is definitely one of the rare exceptions. As a side, and this critique is not particular to 10 Speed, I do not understand why there is an up charge for almond milk! No one gets charged more for whole milk vs low fat milk vs skim milk vs cream. Why the charge for the milk alternatives?

Friendly staff, but encouraged me to buy a(not particularly good) 12oz bottle of cold brew that was past the sell-by date and cost $ 7. Next time I’ll go with Stumptown at the grocery store for half the price.

While attending Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, Ca I visited many booths. On my to-visit list was 10 Speed Coffee. As a Bike shop & Coffee business owner I have run into many coffees I enjoy. I have sampled beans from around the world, roasts from all over. My take on 10 Speed for what it’s worth; Flavors I do not expect that blew me away. An Epicurian’s cup of coffee for damn sure. Try it, you will most-likely walk away with a few pounds of beans. For those of you who cringe at the sight of oils on your brew, you will be Pleased as the beans I sampled were absent of oils as they should be. I believe the roast is kept to small batch of 8lb and under. This is easily a bean one would share with the best of coffee snobs. Thank you and Keep Up The Great Work! Great coffee, but it wasn’t like HOT(that might just be their way of making it) and took a little while to order, but all around great experience. I got the maple latte and with hemp milk, which was so bomb! And the granola bar was incredible. Probably not healthy but a girl can dream. Will stop by again!

They make an excellent Cortado as well as a Café Latte that matches their staff! It’s connected with Pedaler’s Fork Restaurant and have an onsite bike mechanic with tons of bike racks. Perfect place for a SAG stop and enjoy your coffee or food or both. Definitely need a place like this in San Diego! 1−−−−−2−−−−−−3−−−−−−4−−−−−5 | — — ± — –± — –±-x — |: Coffee Quality/Consistency | — — ± — –± — –±-x — |: Art/Presentation | — — ± — –± — –±-x — |: Service/Baristas | — — ± — –± — –±-x — |: Ambiance/Seating | — — ± — –± — –±-x — |: Food/Menu Variety

Odd location in the back of Peddler’s Fork which we really only found since we were in the restaurant anyways. Very small spot tucked way in the back. Iced coffee was pretty good, service nice and vibe pretty unique. Limited but tasty menu, prices pretty high but you can taste the quality. Always love trying new local coffee places and 10 speed is worth checking out!

Such a cute place to meet up with a friend, study/read, grab coffee and a bite to eat. That’s exactly what I did here and have plenty of good things to say about this place. 10 Speed Coffee is located inside Pedalers Fork restaurant and one can sit anywhere in such a large place for both businesses. There is outdoor, patio seating besides the indoor seating available. Feels like a large, cozy wood cabin inside. Only if the place had more electrical outlets around to charge phones and laptops –to make it even more perfect of a place for studying alone or as a group, casual meetings, etc… Service is excellent for both establishments, drink/food was okay at 10 Speed but superb at Pedalers. I ordered a Maple latte w/almond milk at 10 Speed(around $ 5, a bit too sweet for me and the coffee art wasn’t so visually impressive-see my photo). Then had the Forbidden salad($ 14 –black rice, marinated tofu, mizuna arugula, cucumber kimchi, raw shiitake, carrot, radish, miso-ginger vinaigrette-incredibly delicious and constructed so nicely for a salad w/rice and tofu at the bottom) from Pedalers.

Went searching for a nice cold coffee drink on a hot Saturday evening, and finally stumbled upon this little gem. It’s a tiny, quaint little shop in the back of a restaurant with lots of parking in the back. I was immediately greeted by a friendly employee and my coffee was made quite quickly. I ordered the Iced maple latte with almond milk– definitely would recommend. Delicious coffee and lovely staff. Will definitely be back soon!

I don’t think there is any place in the Valley that is serving craft coffee. I ordered the cortado and some danishes during my first visit. It’s as if they plucked this trendy, hipsterish restaurant from Downtown LA and dropped in Calabasas of all places in the Valley. Pastries and coffee been roasted on site. They have their own brand of coffee beans. I’m glad that they’re serving Calabasas, but what about the central Valley such as Encino? Hopefully they will open another location soon in Encino. We are desperately lacking good places to hang out. Looks like this is a chain from the Pacific Northwest with locations in White Salmon, Washington and Hood River and Mosier, Oregon.

Awesome coffee shop and restaurant! It’s right next to the farmers market so parking can be tough. The inside is very cool and they have a ton of beer on tap. Get the Wet Breakfast Burrito, you won’t be disappointed! Prices are a little high on beer but the coffee and food is priced really well. We will be back for beers after hiking in the nearby Santa Monica mountains!

Quaint little spot in the city of Calabasas. I had trouble originally finding this spot, since there wasn’t really any large signs pointing it out when I drove by. The service was really good! Often checking in a little too much, but I’d perfer that then being ignored or hardly attended to. I was surprised to see a full service bar and kitchen, since I thought it was just a coffe bar. So I’ll have to come back to try some of the lunch and dinner items. I ordered the quinoa blueberry cakes, which was an absolute delight! Sweet, with a nice nutty texture and not incredibly filling! Now the coffee was wonderful, I ordered the mocha latte. I loved that they didn’t over kill the coffee with chocolate, which would eliminate the coffee flavor. If you enjoy a tasty cup joe, and some healthy eats with good service then this is your spot. Just be sure to park close to what looks like a darker brown building next to the white one. The sign for the joint is fairly small so its easy to miss. If you’re a fan of donuts, please follow my blog on instagram …thedukeofdonuts
