Maybe it is a Friday afternoon after a long week on the road speaking, but I thoroughly enjoyed my happy hour late lunch and margaritas! Cant beat the spot, on the water at the Westin, cant beat the temperature, 77 in March! It was busy, but still casual. Loved my beef short-rib flat bread with balsamic reduction and cuban sliders! Docking is hard at the marina this time of year.

We went there looking for a waterside bar to grab drinks and a quick bite. After waiting for 15 minutes at our seats we finally flagged down a server to get some menus. When she came back it was to tell us another server would be right there. After another 5 minutes she came over to greet us. No menus. So she leaves us again to get menus but this time when she came back with them there weren’t enough for the 4 of us. We gave it a quick look and decided to order drinks and our food to save time because it was obvious this wasn’t going to be a great experience. Drinks took another 10 minutes. Now our food was another story. First off they didn’t have hanger steak or grouper anymore at 1pm. That cut the menu in half. One of the specials was a shrimp po boy. I ordered that and my parents decided to split one. The food came out in a timely manner however my po boy consisted of 2 pieces of shrimp a piece of lettuce and tomato on a bun with a little remoulade. Kind of a shrimp po boy but not really. To top it off they charged us $ 17 for it. I realize this is at a hotel but when you shell out that kind of money for a po boy it better be big or delicious. This was neither. The people sitting behind us waited about 30 minutes to even receive their drinks. Basically, to cut this short and sum up, the service was awful at best and the quality and value weren’t even close to what you’d expect from a westin affiliated place. I’d never recommend this place to anyone and it may have been one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, I have to give it a star by default.

My favorite place to grab a drink on the water in Cape Coral. Happy hour 3−7(?) in pretty sure. $ 4 wine/wells. $ 6 flatbreads. Not sure what beer is, but it’s cheap :) and a sunset shot at the bar once the sun goes down. I’ve had the quesadilla, fries, flatbreads and my favorite is the pizza bread. Can’t beat that!

What a JOKE!!! We have been there before and the service was better, but this time they really screwed things up. I didn’t give negative stars because that’s not an option. We got there, the waiter took our drink order and we ordered our food. The guy at the table next to us started getting upset because their food was taking forever; finally their food gets there and the guy had to get up and look for his own silverware, not cool at all. I had been asking for an umbrella since we got there, we never got it, me and my buddy had to go and get it ourselves. The waiter(kid) was really clueless about everything, not till after he saw the guy at the table next to us get up and get his own silverware(when he got his bill he just handed it to the front desk manager due to his bad experience), and then we got silverware(20 – 30 mins) later. We finally get our food, well not all of us. My wife and her friend didn’t get their food, and another friend was missing his salad. No big deal the waiter said it will be right out. We all eat our food and we are done, but guess what… my wife and her friends still don’t have their food(20 – 30 mins later) I go inside and talk to the manager but she kinda brushes me off. By this time everyone who got their food was finished. Our other friend goes inside talks to her again and now she comes out. Before she got to our table my wife’s ceviche finally gets there… I make my own ceviche and know when the fish is cooked by the lime… this ceviche she got was NOTCOOKED at all and was made with artificial key lime juice and not fresh lime. The plantains that came with it were stale as can be! We tell the manager everything that had happened and she was nice about it and blames the waiter. She took our bills, so we didn’t have to pay. The whole thing was so bad it was almost comical. We were tempted to warn any newcomers but we didn’t. The two good things about this place and the reason why I give them one star is because they comped us for our entire bill, AND if you want lots of food, order from the kids menu. We saw several other tables getting meals comped too… not sure if it was the fault of the waiters or the kitchen, but that experience was unacceptable.

We came out first night on vacation and boy am I glad we discovered the Nauti Mermaid early on our trip! Within walking distance to our condo, we wandered over for some post flight drinks and eats. I got the quesadilla, which was perfectly sized and seasoned. Nice tender chicken and melty cheese with some bell pepper made me want to slip into the most delightful food coma. The food was so yummy, we’ve been back a few times since! Favorites include: The Quesadilla(obvs) The BBQ chicken Flatbread The Margherita Flatbread We also had the salmon tacos, which were very tasty, but they were way tiny for the price. We also had the chili con queso dip, which again, seemed like a small portion for the price, but it was a great little snack that paired well with our beer. We, of course, HAD to have a Nauti Mermaid(a piña colada with a black raspberry floater.) Absolutely fan-freaking-tastic. We have come back almost everyday for one, and when we aren’t drinking them, we are talking about drinking them. Would definitely suggest trying one!

I live in the neighborhood and have stopped by frequently either on my bike rides or with family and friends who visit us from«up north» during the snow bird season. The price points are quite high in comparison to other places in the south Cape. However, the service at the bar with Howard and Clair on duty and the view… Not quite priceless but worth a stop. The Weston should give those two a raise– they are awesome and the main reason why I continue to stop by!!!

Wear your insect repellent because the no-see-ums will chew you up! Aside from the bugs though, the food was awesome, the company was pleasant, the bartender was great, and the views were phenomenal! We only dined here once while in town but our experience was very nice. We arrived around 8-ish, sat at the bar, the bartender was quite friendly and so were other patrons. There was a light crowd and it was very laid back. There was a nice breeze too so even though it was summer, it was nice to sit out doors and eat. The bartender was great with recommendations on the menu and the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Tuna Tataki($ 19) and we both ordered a Fresh Catch(one was $ 27 and one was $ 19) which we requested blackened. It was all very delicious. My husband enjoyed every morsel and it was a perfect portion too. I’m hoping to come back to Cape Coral very soon. We check out in a few hours and I’m so sad to leave. Can’t wait to return.

Perfect for what it is – a laid-back, waterside bar with decent food. Came for a late lunch and sat at the bar. Had a solid burger and a couple good Mai Tais. Staff and fellow patrons were all in great mood. View is fantastic. They’d run out of a couple things(including the Tuna app, which I was looking forward to), but my cheeseburger and crispy fries completely satisfied.

I was so excited to find somewhere that served a tofu dish, however, I was very disappointed. There was 2 small pieces of tofu, the size of a quarter and the rice was overcooked. My husband had the veggie burger which was very good. The waiter was nice, but was the ONLY server for the entire place. How can you have 1 waiter for dinner service? I would go back for the burger and would hope they could fix the tofu dish to actually contain more than 2 pieces.

Perfectly adequate hotel bar … nice atmosphere on the water. Attentive service. $ 8.50 for a non-call Bloody Mary! But like I said — HOTEL bar! Food prices weren’t bad. Good wings and chicken quesadilla.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and have a couple tips/comments. NOTKIDFRIENDLY. It’s a good bar, hangout. Drink prices are pretty high and food prices for the quality are outrageous. I do love that u can bring ur pets and the venue on the marina surrounded by water is amazing. That being said, I’ve never had good service here which could be because I had my kids(see NOTKIDFRIENDLY). The food takes forever and then is disappointing for the price. If your looking for a wonderful place for drinks, this is awesome… eat somewhere else for dinner and come here for the view.

We live here all year but never tire of crossing the bridge to take a mini-vaca at the Nauti Mermaid. Great bartenders, excellent hamburgers, cold beer, excellent fries in a gorgeous location. We even love it in the heat of summer as there is always a breeze. I can’t think of any other bar with this sort of venue in the area. It is just great.

Beautiful view, great drinks and yummy food! Can’t get any better. Parking is free :) The view from any angle outside is breathe taking. You have a clear view of the open sky and ocean alongside gorgeous yachts. The food is all fresh and delicious. Great place to come to hang out with good friends in a mellow atmosphere :)

Disappointing. The food was so overpriced. Also, our waitress was anything but friendly. The only reason I gave this restaurant 3 stars is because of the views. They were amazing. If I had it over again, I would skip the food and just grab a drink there.

We had a wonderful dinner at Nauti Mermaid. We went at around 6:00 on New Year’s Day and had no trouble getting a dockside table. The views are not to be missed! The Ahi Tuna wraps and Grouper sandwich were amazing! A must see!

Words cannot describe this place. Just beautiful property owned by the Westin, which is also pet friendly :-) The food is delicious and the drinks made to perfection. It’s on the water and also by the gorgeous pool. It is like a slice of heaven here in Cape Coral. Just enjoyed myself here. 5 stars for sure

I’m pleased to provide the first review of the The Nauti Mermaid Dockside Bar and Grill. The Nauti Mermaid is one of the many amenities and activities at the Westin Cape Coral Resort. It’s a luxury hotel tiki bar and offers great beachside ambience. The bar seats are comfy, with several TVs to watch and excellent service. The grouper sandwich was excellent, the flatbread pizza as not as exciting. All the desserts are delicious and their berries and cream dessert is to dies for.
