After a long night walking around for bike night, we decided to go here for one last drink & a bite to eat. It was 11pm so it was quiet. We sat at the bar, had a beer and some sliders & fries.

Gave Ford’s another try. This time I had a burger with chili con queso. Like before the burger was cooked perfect but was sooooo bland. Before I thought they were running low on chili, it appears that they are just stingy with toppings.

There are several Ford’s Garages in the area, but this is the only one I’ve gone to. The burgers are consistently good. The food is a little greasy, but I think that’s to be expected. The beer selection changes on a semi regular basis and offers a good number of options.

Big, fat and delicious! Fun casual atmosphere with lots of interesting wall décor. Great beer selection, perfect for watching games and enjoying some good food.

Loooooonnnngg line to get in and apparently a local chain. Cute idea. Ok implementation. Nice staff. Ok food. But it took 50 minutes to get my hamburger. The waitress came by several times to tell me she hadn’t forgotten me. She hadn’t. The chef, however, apparently had. Oops. Listen: not a bunch of good choices for cuisine around the neighborhood, this is ok.

Great atmosphere great service from the hostesses to our waitress. Food was fast and fresh. Bison burger and meatloaf were excellent. Beer was cold and bloody Mary’s spicy couldn’t ask for anything more!

Love this place because of the ambiance and friendly waitstaff. I was recovering from a cold and only wanted a bowl of Irish Guinness onion soup and one or two Irish coffees. They all performed admirably. My husband ordered a bison burger with a white truffle aioli. I had to ensure it was white truffle and indeed it was. My husband loved the burger. If you have a wee bought with sniffles, Ford’s Garage will do you up with some nice warm soup and drinkies.

Great beer selection. The atmosphere is fun. When you drive passed the front there is a rubber hose that rings a bell, ding ding, like the old time garages. Inside the theme is an old garage complete with roll down garage doors and a Model T up on the lift over the bar. Every so often the car’s horn gives a short blast and steam comes out of the tailpipe. I like to get their salad with a burger patty on top. Unlike some restaurants you can get the burger medium rare and it is delicious. The servers are dressed in pretty auto mechanic outfits and are attentive. It is a regular stop for us. For dessert try the dipsticks. They are very soft pretzels with a hazel nut, chocolate dipping sauce.

The next time here we did burgers. Custom burgers from a huge selection made it hard to choose which one we wanted. I had the one with bleu cheese and bacon which was huge but I arrived and conquered it thoroughly! My girlfriend had their Signature burger which she highly enjoyed but a word of caution is if you go with BBQ sauce with your burger… make sure you ask for it on the side as they saturated it so bad that she had to consume the deliciousness with a fork and knife! Guinness 20 ounce draft added to the pure gluttony witnessed here today. Big basket of fries too.

If your diet allows for it… and you like a flavorful tasty greasy burger… this is the place in the Cape. Solid, whimsy, auto garage atmosphere — although a bit tightly squeezed in. The dirt lot parking isn’t the greatest, but it’s a burger joint. so it matches.

Another gimmicky burger restaurant that serves only bar food(burgers, etc.) that is not so great. Was not impressed. Parking was hard to get into from Cape Coral Pkwy from the west.

Great food and atmosphere ! Nice beer list ! Service way good but server could have been a bit more nice and welcoming ! We absolutely loved the burgers and the ford logo burned into burger buns ! We are huge fans of fried pickles so naturally we tried their and we give 2 thumbs up ! I would recommend this place !

Great food and amazing ambiance. I’m a car guy so the décor was so much to take in the food almost didn’t matter. However, the food was great so it was just an all around great experience.

Driving through Cape Coral we saw this lil cool place call Ford’s garage. (I thought it was an actual garage where they fix your car) The napkins were made of shop rags with hose clamps as napkin rings!(The napkins did leave a lot of lint on dark dress clothes) We sat next to an old model A truck outside. Very cool. I ordered the Bison burger, it was good, I like my meat medium, but bison is a lean meat so it came a bit over cooked for my taste even though I ordered it medium rare, everything in the burger was amazing and it went really well together. My wife got the bbq pulled pork nachos, they were good. Our uncle got the southwestern hamburger and it looked really good, it had whole slices of jalapeño. Our aunt got the Tuna hamburger for her taste it was a little under cooked and her Bloody Mary was too spicy. All the burgers came with the logo grilled on the bun, so that was neat. Overall it was a good experience.

The garage theme is great, down to every detail, including hose clamps as napkin holders, and bathrooms marked as fluid disposal areas, and tire sinks! Incredible draft beer selection, including many local brews, such as the Ft Myers High 5IPA, and even a Sea Dog from my home state if Maine! The beer stays nice and cold with the ice bar(if you sit at the bar!) Extensive menu, but as a first timer here i have to go with a cheeseburger, and I am going big with the Kobe burger! Great place on a Sunday to catch a game. Not too loud like most sports bars. Sarah at the bar was great, the burger was great! I will return and get the lamb burger!

Pretty sweet. Great looking building and environment. Burger was pretty amazing(The Ford) and so was my dessert(s)… Rum cake and FRESHLY baked chocolate brownie. More importantly our waitress was fantastic. She was super on point and attentive(especially since we were tucked away in a corner outside). Beer selection was huge and that evening Breckenridge Brewery did a Tap Takeover which was pretty great. My only complaint is honestly the truck bed table we were sat at outside. It looks like a bar table placed on the back of a classic Ford pickup truck, but it’s just too wide. Great for the atmosphere, but not that effective as seating. I honestly felt bad for our waitress because of how much of a pain it was. Otherwise honestly, I definitely recommend this place for a great meal and pretty decent time. However, if you come around 6 or 7pm on the weekend, be prepared to wait 30 – 40 minutes as this place is definitely a local favorite.

I gave it 1 star for service, but 4 stars for food(burgers/fries and desserts) and ambiance. We arrived at 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. The 6 of us were there eating until 4pm! We sat outside. The inside is open air seating too. You must check out the bathrooms… notice what the inside of the bathroom door says. We ordered fried pickles and fried pretzel sticks. I had never heard of fried pretzel sticks… they were great! They come with a choice of cheese dips. My favorite was the pepper cheese dip. After enjoying the appetizers, it took over an HOUR to get our entrees. The waitress never apologized for this delay. Once we received our food she didn’t check on us. One person in our party had cold sweet potato fries that she hand walked in to the restaurant to find someone to reheat them. W hen they came back they were warm and coated in brown sugar. Plus they come with a sugar dip. They were the best sweet potato fries I have had. My burger was juicy and well seasoned. The truffle fries were okay. When you order a side of fries they give you two basket of fries which is enough for four people to split. The mac and cheese tasted like Velveeta. After finishing our meals, the plates were not cleared. When the server returned to finally check on us I asked if they could provide us with desserts or something to makeup for the bad service. She said she would comp one dessert for the table. I then requested to see the manager. The manager said she would comp a dessert for each person. The manager apologized for the delay and said she wasn’t aware of the poor service we were receiving. Other tables around us who were seated after us were served before us. The desserts and apology made us feel better about the experience. We had high expectations because our friend and raved about this place. For dessert, we had the rum cake(amazing), chocolate cupcake(not homemade), key lime pie, and fried pretzel sticks coated in cinnamon and served with a chocolate dip. I really enjoyed the pretzel sticks and rum cake. Overall, the food was good. I will go back and assume we would have better service. The ambiance is really fun with the old ford vehicles in front of the restaurant and one truck that has its bed as a table! There is plenty of free parking in the attached gravel parking lot.
