Do NOT eat here. We dined on Friday night. There were maybe 4 – 5 tables in the entire restaurant. Took well over 45 minutes to just get our appetizers. A total of 2:15 minutes to eat. The entire meal was a comedy of errors and for over $ 200 with drinks, appetizers, and entrée, this place was terrible. 1. My husband was told they ran out of cold bud light after having one beer. 2. Our appetizer took well over 45 minutes to get. 3. We were told everything was«fresh.» They had no Parmesan cheese and could offer shredded mozzarella as alternative. 4. The lasagna was FREEZING cold in the middle. 5. Linguine with meatballs and red sauce… red sauce tasted right out of a jar. 6. Seafood risotto-absolute worst meal that we have all eaten. Was not risotto… white rice in red broth. «Fresh» seafood was topped with stone crab. Those were out of season May 13. Calamari was so overcooked and chewy. The overwhelming«fishy» taste was obvious the seafood was old. 7. We were told they had run out of crushed red pepper, Parmesan cheese, Bud Light because they would be closing the following day until September for«remodeling» 8. Unsure of our servers name, but she was very good. Can’t blame her for poor food coming from kitchen. 9. Save your $ 200… 10. I’m an avid Unilocal follower, but this is the first time I’ve been so compelled to write a review.

Don’t let the name fool you. This place has great European type atmosphere and was very quant. The food was really good and service was as well. We sat in the courtyard and we thought we went to Tuscany. I would definitely go back and suggest you try for yourself.

Please make that no stars! I was part of a group of people there for a meeting. After being seated for at least 30 minutes drink orders were taken and arrived about 20 minutes later. Please bear in mind the place was practically deserted except for us. Entrees arrived over an hour later. The server and I believe owner had no idea who was getting what. The person next to me got overcooked steak and when mine arrived I asked if it was medium rare since she obviously had no idea whose it was. She plopped it down in front of me and shrugged her shoulders not caring at all. Well done! I sent it back and received another well done filet 30 minutes later. I wouldn’t go here if it was the last restaurant on earth. Overpriced, disorganized and horrible service. And the poor girl next to me couldn’t even get a refill of coke! Save your money!

I had at this place one of the most awesome dinning out experiences ever. The service was perfect. The owners of the restaurant treated us as nice as it gets. The chef came to our table and he cooked something special that was not in the menu. Also the waiter was super good. The food is excellent and the ambience as well. Live music gave a special touch to complete a five star evening. It is like going to Italy without leaving Florida. Thanks for making our night so special!

What a disaster! Totally disorganized kitchen and wait staff. Owners don’t care. They really screwed up my birthday party. We waited 2 hours for food. They finally brought out raw pasta and burnt chicken. Never again!

Terrible terrible terrible terrible service. Poor greeting, sat without menus. One glass of wine ordered and never asked us if we wanted more within 1 hour and 15 min of no food. Got my gespatcho in one hour, but as I sit here… 1 hour and twenty minutes, we have not even been given water. The helper did not speak English and the waitress only checked once. Nice ambiance… Kinda… That’s it. Considering walking out.

Literally one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. My wife and I were treated to… scratch that tortured to one of the most dismal dining experiences I have ever had. We went here for a going away party as we are making a move to Atlanta. We arrived at 6:30 and literally 3.5 hours later we were out the door. Not before eating overcooked and cold filet mignon steak priced at $ 34 /plate. One entrée never even made it to the table. Another person in our party later had food poisoning and threw up in her drive way after eating cold lasagna. At the end of the night the sou chef was kind enough to stop by and offer to comp a bottle of wine and our appetizers. We were gracious for the show of hospitality. However, when our waiter came back to the table he indicated the very same sou chef we just talked to said he could only comp one bottle of wine. We called the sou chef back asked him to take off all the appetizers and one bottle of wine. Finally he complied. This was too much work for what should have been a good will gesture to contain the damage. Save yourself the time, money and well being by never patroning this place. They have no concern for the quality of their food or the experience of their patrons. This is really sad as I visited this restaurant a few months prior and had a good experience. Reading other reviews it seems that they are now under new management and this is when the bad reviews started appearing. So to sum it up: bad service, over priced and cold food, rude staff. NEVERVISIT. Tyler

I want to start off by saying the food was good HOWEVER the service was awful. We had an 8 reservation and we were not seated until 830. Once seated, the waiter did not take our order until 9 and at 945 he came back to tell us that they were out of one of the entrees one of us ordered. They ended up buying that meal and giving us free glasses of wine but I would not go back.

Easily the best restaurant in Cape Coral! Food and service is 5 star! I I had the filet and it was amazing!

Although somewhat pricy(even for a city girl), food and atmosphere(we were inside because winter) were excellent. We ordered linguini in white clam sauce and the swordfish — both specials, perfectly executed. Huge portions + amazingly fresh bread a nice plus. Decided to go for tiramisu for dessert — holy crap ahmazing! Apparently made in-house by the chef himself. In the warm weather, this place can’t be beat.

I have never written a bad review on Unilocal, but I had to today because I want other people to know just how bad this place really is. DONOTBEFOOLED by the pretty atmosphere of this restaurant. If I could give this place negative 5 stars, that would even be too generous. The ONLY good thing about this place was our waiter Joseph. Joseph, I give you a ton of credit for being able to work for such an ignorant owner. Maybe if she put her drink down long enough, she would notice that her restaurant was full of patrons and not ONE of them were happy. She was incredibly rude and nasty to the customers, including us, and clearly blind to not see what was happening in her own restaurant. Mark my words, this place will be under new management, or out of business, by the end of the season. Do not go here… just don’t! There are too many great places in Florida to eat, please don’t waste your hard earned money or time. Literally, 1 ½ hours waiting for your dinner is ridiculous. Especially since we all left hungry because our whole table sent back their food. Yes, you heard me correctly, THEWHOLETABLE! It was cold, over cooked and overly salted… BOTHTIMES. Again, you heard me correctly, BOTH times. We all left hungry and would’ve been better off eating at the gas station across the street. Honestly, we would’ve pulled a dine and dash if they tried to charge us. They had to take off EVERY entrée because they were inedible. And if they had charged us, we would’ve just walked out on the bill. ITWASTHATBAD. The décor was pretty, but with food and an owner like that, it more than killed it. Honestly, when all you see are diners sending back food while the owner is screaming at patrons and the staff, it REALLY makes you wonder. Joseph good luck to you. Find a new restaurant and you’ll do just fine. You were a great waiter considering the nightmare of a boss you have and the conditions you work in. **If for some ungodly reason you do decide to go here, check out the air vents(any of them) in this place… Black Mold anyone?

Enjoyed Brew Babies on my daughter’s last night in Cape Coral. Jennifer was a wonderful server who had great recommendations. The burrata with prosciutto, cranberry cod and grouper were amazing. I got the swordfish and it was less than stellar. Very thin. Jennifer brought me a fresh piece of grouper to make up for the disappointment. Excellent service. Beautiful atmosphere.

The place is gorgeous, the service was so so from the start, got better, they were pretty busy. I liked the bread with the basil infused olive oil to start, nice. The place has a great vibe, great décor, trees and vines infused with the walls! Brick and mortar with an italian spirit. Kind of slow to get apps, a lot of fast paced running around by staff. May have been where I was sitting by the kitchen and bar, thats what you get for going solo. Still, a long wait for apps, i get the awkward look from my waiter, a long time! My flatbread artichoke pizza finally arrives, and it is very good. Mu pork Osco Busco, pretty good! Cant beat a good Osco Busco! Now just try and figure the name out!

This was my fourth visit to brew babies. I’ve always really enjoyed it until this visit. It was a mess. They were out of so many things. There was plastic wrap in my salad. My main dish was delicious but 3 of the 6 in my party didn’t like theirs at all. One steak was way over cooked, one was just gross and one ordered paella and it was more like jambalaya. The dessert was pretty bad too. The crème brûlée was soupy instead of like a custard. It was close to 1 ½ hours before we even received our meals after ordering. I’ve always really enjoyed this restaurant and if I do try it again I will certainly update my review, but I can’t imagine wasting that kind of money again. They did comp the salad and crème brûlée but it wasn’t near enough to make up for this experience.

We would eat here once a month. Loved the previous owners and their attentiveness. The food is no where near the level it used to be. Im sorry, this was our go to restaurant in the cape where we never left dissapointed. Won’t be going back.

I left a review for this restaurant previously, when it was under ownership of different people. I tried it after it was purchased by new owners and it didn’t seem as good. I waited several months to try it again today. All of the staff is different and clearly the chef is different as well. The menu has stayed mostly the same so I know exactly what I should be getting and how it has been in the past. I have eaten here dozens of times. Everything was a serious disappointment. Beyond it being a disappointment, I didn’t really consider it to even be edible. My friend and I ordered different dishes and shared them. Neither of them were good, we left more than half the meals. Their tomato basil soup, which use to be phenomenal, was horrible. They had enough presence of mind to not change the atmosphere(which is good) and to not change the menu but the execution of the food is far less than stellar. I won’t be giving them a third chance.

I think this just became my new favorite restaurant. I I dined with Brew Babies on a Saturday night. The ambience is so romantic and sweet. *take your special someone here!* There was a live singer who I think goes by the name of Pearl. I wish he could sing to me all the time. I sat outside and was surrounded by lights and plants in a sweet little court yard. My waiter’s name was Marco and he was very knowledgable of the menu. I had a glass of wine($ 7) and the shrimp fazzoletti do seta($ 13). I was also served delicious bread and dipping oil. Everything tasted so fresh and full of love. I hope to come back soon.

Really… Truly… Lovely. It’s been a few years since I first discovered this wonderful restaurant and it has consistently dazzled me. Today was no exception. Early lunch in the open courtyard with a lifelong friend… Brazilian music piping through the outdoor speakers in perfect harmony with the trickle of water in the center fountain… iced tea and a little breeze… delicious dishes and the very sweetest service from Lisa.
