I’ve been here several times. Each time i had to wait a half hr. to 45 min. for my food. There is no excuse for that. And the staff could care less. The food is good. Not great but definitely edible. But having to wait so long, in such a dirty place really makes everything about this place including the food kinda sour.

This has to be the most dirtiest establishment ive ever seen. Someone needs to come shut this down asap. I just saw the cook drop a towel on the floor, pick it back up and put in back on the sink and then pick up fish filets and put em on the grill. Also one cashier? And 30 people in the place. Took forever just to even come take my order. I left

Hey, do you want to feel like you’re begging for food and pestering the employees by just simply placing an order? Come here and enjoy really good fish for a ton of cash and be treated like absolute trash. If the food wasn’t as decent as it is, this place would have sank a long time ago.

A friend found this treasure of a «fast food» restaurant. She took me the first time and we have been going back ever since. My favorite are the salmon tacos, but we have never had anything we didn’t love. They are friendly, great food and service. It is well located and has parking! Everyone we have taken there has been delighted as well. We usually dine at more sit down and be served type restaurants, but this is such an exception…

The food is nothing to write home about. But it’s fast edible seafood. The people are nice and friendly. The noise level is excruciating, with music so loud that conversation is impossible.

went here for the first time and loved it ! i ordered the salmon plate with the garlic butter and it was delicious ! i highly recommend it. the plate came with 2 pieces of salmon, your choice of either white or brown rice(i chose white), coleslaw and a slice of garlic bread. will definitely come back and try more of their menu items! i like how they have burrito and taco options also. plenty of parking, but the lot gets packed since its next to a bunch of other food places. and i went during lunch time. so thats to be expected. they also have indoor and outdoor seating so there are plenty of tables to sit at.

I have given several of their locations a try now and always left really upset about just how crappy it was here. DIRTY, horrible service, the staff have no idea what they are doing, nor do they care. the fish is horrendous quality, grilled, fried, the shrimp, all of it inedible, a huge waste of money. Complaining makes no difference, they shrug it off, food got tossed, money wasted, done with Fish Dish, no more chances from me!

I originally planned on hitting up San Sai next door, but it was closed. So I decided to take a chance here since the reviews seemed to be in their favor. Also, just about everything on the menu sounded delicious. I picked up an order of chicken Katsu, which I had been craving, and regularly get from L&L. The chicken itself was pretty thin. Mainly breading. I don’t think I even got a full side of the macaroni salad, which was a bit flavorless. But the rice was great. I also got a grilled mahi mahi burrito — minus the tomatoes. I was really looking forward to this. The burrito wasn’t bad. Probably about 85% cabbage and 15% fish. Definitely kept up the flavor throughout. It comes with a side of chips, which unfortunately were ALL stale. Would I recommend it to someone, ehhh, not sure. But I’d give it another shot, with a new dish.

The seared ahi tuna salad was excellent. I will definitely be coming back here when I fly out of Burbank again

It is that time of the year, Lent has arrived. On Fridays, we eat fish. Upon entering, you are not hit with an intense smell of fish, it’s actually the complete opposite. You would never know that this place was frying fish all day. I’ve gone to Fish Dish twice now. The first time I got the salmon with the garlic butter, the second time I went, I got the salmon with the cajun seasoning. Both were delicious and seasoned well. When I go back, I’ll probably stick to the garlic butter. The salmon was served on a bed of rice, with slaw, and some garlic bread. I was unbelievably full afterwards and very satisfied. This place is mediocre, I wouldn’t say it was the best around. If you are looking for fish, this is the place to go. I’m always looking for a place to go that serves good salmon without the fancy dine-in experience and I think I’ve found it here.

Returned here last Thursday, and once again was delighted by the quality of their meal. I had the grilled salmon plate with the garlic marinade and it was outstanding. Garlic did not overwhelm the fish and vice versa. Fish was cooked perfectly and came moist and juicy. Love the brown rice and garlic bread too. The place was very busy but I received my order in a timely fashion. As a fish-lover, I have become accustomed to the fact that fresh fish takes longer to prepare than other foods so I will not complain. Others may have issues, but even during my visit, and in spite of a long line, the orders seemed to be coming out relatively fast and efficiently. Only negative item for me is that ventilation inside the dining room is quite smoky and caused my alergies to act up. As a building trades specialist by vocation, I recommend that they have their exhaust system evaluated for effectiveness; the system for the kitchen hood may need cleaning or upgrade.

Hey Fish Dish — If you’re banking on people who work nearby to come to you for lunch, you might not want to take 26 minutes to put together(1) mahi taco and a cup of chowder. And sadly, not the first time service has been slow. I really like your food but can’t risk another round of running late back to work after waiting for you, so… I won’t.

As a Burbankian, there are only a few places to get your seafood fix. Considering Lent is coming up… this is guna be the go-to spot! Their seafood burritos are better than your average and actually taste real… not like the fast food seasonal stuff like from El Pollo Loco. Their garlic butter bread is soft and leaves your taste buds wanting more. My new favorite items are the salads which you can get with a fish.

Great food! I got the seared Ahi Tuna with Cajun seasoning. It was a HUGE portion especially for lunch. I would definitely recommend this place to others. They are also very quick during lunch hours.

I have been going here consistently in the past year. However, in the recent months I have noticed the food quality and service has gone down tremendously. It’s probably due to high employee turn over which means no consistency in food quality and customer service. This place is «meh» — it won’t blow your mind but it’s not like eating at taco bell. If you are near by the area give it a try but don’t make a huge drive and come from far away for this place.

Reminds me of CA Fish Grill back in SCV! Which means I enjoyed it just as much. The Cajun seared ahi tuna, which came on top of a nice heaping of rice, was perfectly seasoned and seared. The fish portion is smaller than that of Fish Grill, but the slice of bread was bigger, and it wasn’t just plain ol’ bread, it was an amazing, toasted buttery garlic bread! All in all, my stomach was full by the end of the meal. I was just meh with the coleslaw, but mayonnaise-base coleslaw isn’t really my thing anyways. I did enjoy snatching a few bites of the grilled zucchini my friend ordered. There is a salsa bar, but it was not necessary because the food on its own already has a pack full of flavors! Workers were very kind when serving and clearing our plates away, so it was very much appreciated! Verdict: a good place to grab a quick bite to eat or if you’re indecisive but hungry like my friend I was.

Service was quick and easy. There was a cop that was in line too. I tried the Mahi mahi burrito no rice sub more lettuce. It was good. The location had plenty of parking at the time we went. It was night time around 9pm. The inside can get lots of smoke real quick because of the fish. It’s a good place, I would come back to it though.

First time visit was pretty impressive. Not what I had pictured in my head at all. This is a great option for healthy eating in a fresh fast food setting. I ordered clam chowder and a fried fish taco. My husband ordered teriyaki chicken, rice and veggies. My fish was undercooked, and the tortilla was cold. I’m not sure if this is the way they serve it, So if you like your tortilla warm, be sure to ask them. So I wasn’t happy with the taco but it looked really good and the cabbage and chipotle sauce had great flavor, So I returned my taco And asked if they could make me another. They had no problem replacing it. The second taco was much better. The fish was cooked all the way through. They warmed the tortilla(however I still didn’t like the extra thick tortilla. Maybe deep fried or crunchy would be better for me) but the cabbage was crisp and plenty of sauce, mmmmmmmmmm. My clam chowder was really good! I will be back for another bowl of that! One problem more was mine and my husband’s dinner didn’t come out together. So he just sat there while I ate. That’s just bad timing and inexperience. That needs to be addressed. My husband was a little disappointed in his dish. The chicken was dry, but did taste nice. The rice tasted as if they added two separate pots of rice together.(One cooked and one undercooked) So that was not the greatest. There was a ton of mixed veggies(lots of cauliflower, broccoli and carrots) I thought the veggies were the best part of his plate. So much I would come back just for them.(And that grilled zucchini in the menu!) But like I always say, if you go to a fish place, eat fish. If you go to a burger place, eat burgers. He hasn’t bought into that theory yet. Even though this is not the only place he’s been disappointed with his dish at a new place. They have a small salsa bar with some flavorful options. A couple different pepper hot sauces. The menu carried items like pasta, rice, burritos, with various fish, chicken(not sure about red meat). The fish and chips looked amazing. So did the burrito. The staff was friendly and order taking was quick. There is free ample lot parking. Located next to the Burbank Bob Hope Airport. I will definitely be back!
