The bagels are delicious and the staff is friendly. The bagels are a bit over priced but I would still recommend this place to friends and family

Really not worth all the hype at all. First the store was packed. I so not mind crowded places but it was extrmely unorganized with someone pushing us all together. It took 40 mins just for someone to take my order which was completely unorganized considering he had to keep coming to me saying they don’t have what I ordered. The store is awfully stocked. If they are so hyped up, they should be prepare to please the number of crowd they want. Second they said you can only have one rainbow bagel per person which is really inconvenient considering I wanted to bring some home to my family. They didn’t even have any of the rainbow bagels to begin with. Seriously this place is all hype for nothing. Don’t waste your time for a place that charges over priced tye dye bread that they probably don’t even have prepared Also they said they were closing in an hour at 3:00 because they want to go home and watch the superbowl. That seemed very unprofessional for a place with this much hype and big price. Just because you want to go watch football doesn’t mean you should be closing up shop early. Maybe that’s why they were telling people they don’t have anything anymore. More people left the store than actually ordered. I was almost one but I attempted to give the shop a try, my mistake. Quick Recap: –They probably won’t have what you want because they don’t stock anything with the big crowds they get. –You are going to be over priced. –They are unprofessional and quite rude. –You can only get ONE rainbow bagel per person, but don’t worry about that they probably won’t have them anyway. –They might take your order about 3 times because what ever you order, they don’t have. Seriously just don’t waste your time. Not worth waiting 40 – 60 mins for a bagel.

The Bagel Store has been on my bookmarks list for at least a couple years, but I never actually made the trip out here. Then comes this past week — when the damn rainbow bagel blows up the internet. I figured, I better go try this thing before it REALLY blows up like the cronut. Well, it was too late, because this past Saturday, the line was down the block at 1:30pm and after 30 minutes of waiting and only getting through half of the line — they were out of all colored bagels and all interesting cream cheese(funfetti, etc). UGH. The internet sucks sometimes. However, on the way to our next destination, an employee came out with a tray full of pieces of colored bagels and red velvet, cookies and cream, and vegetable cream cheese. I quickly grabbed a decent-sized piece of colored bagel and dipped it in the red velvet cream cheese. The bagel tasted no different than a regular plain bagel, but was dusted with blue sugar sprinkles. The red velvet cream cheese tasted exactly like red velvet frosting, with a stronger cream cheese flavor. Maybe it was my hunger talking, but this tiny piece of bagel was actually quite delicious. Would I say the same thing about an entire bagel with the cream cheese I actually wanted in it? Who knows. I guess I’ll never know until I decide I want to waste time waiting in line again. At least we got away with something, even if it was a tiny piece of bagel and cream cheese. FYI: free coffee with check-in.

Did not open until an hour after advertised(opened at 7 am on a Saturday when it says 6am) Had people waiting to create a fake line, probably for appearances. Opened the door at 7 to say«we won’t have rainbow bagels until 8… or maybe 9. Try 9» Luckily one of the guys who opened the store called their other location on metropolitan and they has the rainbow bagels there. The Bedford location is terrible. Don’t bother going there. Go to the Metropolitan Ave location. They had their stuff together and had actual inventory.

@yelp @eat24 @thebagelstore #foodporn People on @Facebook social media are losing their minds over the rainbow bagel from Brooklyn. These multicolored bagels come from a place in Williamsburg appropriately called The Bagel Store(Twitter @thebagelstore). What shocked me is that I park my car in front of their establishment daily, but haven’t had a desire to enter. Is it worth the craze? I had to see for myself. a Below you will find the Facebook link of their video that shows the process of hand-rolling these beautiful creations. Scot Rossillo, the owner, mentioned the process of making rainbow bagels is a «labor of passion and art.» The amazing thing is that this company has been creating these bagels over 20 years, is that we are just taking notice in them now. Scot have already created 30 varieties, that includes the Superbowl teams @Broncos or @Panthers. Which team are you supporting for Superbowl 50? Why not purchase your team bagel to have with your coffee? Their bagels aren’t the only thing that makes them popular, but their 15 flavors of cream cheese to pair with the rainbow bagel. I must admit that the most appropriate of which include funfetti, my personal favorite, is a must have. It is made with real cake mix, cannoli filling, cotton candy and birthday cake. Not in the mood for the rainbow hype, I would strongly recommend you to purchase the Cragel, which is half bagel and croissant. A different taste for the taste buds In addition, if you don’t feel like waiting in line and risking the chance of the rainbow bagels selling out, you can place an order to reserve them the day before your visit. That is great service! Below you will find the pricing. Rainbow bagels are $ 3.95 a piece or $ 47 a dozen. Rainbow bagels creation Facebook link

Yummy! Delicious! Unique! Those were the first words that came to mind. Anywho, you must try this place. And don’t order a regular bagel. Try a rainbow bagel with confetti cream cheese or maybe a chocolate chip cookie dough bagel. The Bagel Store has two locations so make your way to one of them! **Note: the prices are extremely high for a bagel.

Jesus Christ. This place is like the twilight zone. I have no idea what goes on behind the counter or what goes through the minds of these employees but its NOT good. Went to pick up a pre-order this morning. The order was placed yesterday, over the phone. Get there, and they have no record of any order under my name. The guy behind the counter kept trying to tell me I either called the wrong shop, or placed the order online. My friend actually placed the order, she called them not once, but TWICE(phone log was checked and we were at the correct place). Apparently the guy she spoke to was extremely rude as well, and had to repeat the order about five times because he kept having random conversations while trying to take her order. Anyway, guy says he’ll take my order and make it. I repeated the order, he actually wrote it down too. Since they didn’t make my order when it was supposed to be made, they didn’t even have the bagel I wanted. I settled for an everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese, tomato and avocado. I just arrived at my destination and opened the wrapper. 1. Bagel isn’t toasted. 2. Avocado is brown. 3. There’s random bacon piled on it. After calling it in twice, repeating in person, and having it written down didn’t matter. It was wrong. Who the hell puts bacon on a cream cheese bagel!!! Its a mess and doesn’t even look appetizing at all. Will not be back. Update: A very kind woman named Francine has reached out and clearly knows a thing or two about service and keeping customers happy. Will update review after The Bagel Store is given a second shot.

YES! This place is the best! YUM! I heard about the rainbow bagels so I headed over but in my rush I went on a day they didn’t have any *TIP* They love call in orders! Call first for those rare bagels. While there I tried the French toast cragel and also the salty pretzel bagel. WHAT!!! AMAZING!!! YUM!!! I think about those bagels all of the TIME!!! I wish I lived in that neighborhood cause then my life would be complete. The rainbow bagels are beautiful, They don’t taste great but add their rainbow icing and its delicious!

I have to give them 5 stars because rainbows make me happy! I discovered the rainbow bagel existed and ordered to reserve them so they wouldn’t run out as I was stopping by on a Sunday. I had some questions and called. The lady was helpful the when I called as well as in store. They were very busy and I could see how this could be an issue. I did wait for a long time even though my order was ready and waiting for me. To me the rainbow bagel is the only bagel I want to eat now and I’m a savory bagel kinda gal. This has forever tainted my bagel eating. Unfortunately I don’t live in NY so I can only get this when I visit, unless I want to pay the exorbitant price to ship. They are already quite pricey for a rainbow bagel and funfetti cream cheese, but definitely a must try!

I’m a sucker for gimmicks, and I fell right into it with their rainbow bagel and funfetti cream cheese. After waiting in line for 45 minutes and paying $ 7(yes, you heard that right) for the single most disgusting bagel I’ve ever eaten, it’s safe to say that I won’t be visiting again. *This is only reflective of the one flavour combo. Their other bagels looked pretty tasty.

The place is just okay — I think I ordered wrong. I got the rainbow bagel with the pumpkin cream cheese. Rookie mistake. They didn’t have funfetti cream cheese which was annoying but they are so busy I’m honestly not surprised. If I go back I want to try the cinnamon bagel with Nutella cream cheese. I honestly think that’s the play. The rainbow bagel is good for an Instagram pic but that’s about it. It tasted like fruity pebbles a bit which I don’t like — if you like that cereal you will absolutely love the bagel. They sell out quickly though so order the rainbow bagels ahead of time if that’s what you want to order! Definitely stop by — great to cross off the bucket list. Also must give Michelle the owners sister a shout out… She is such a sweetheart and boss! Great with all the customers

I dragged my friends here after seeing the rainbow bagels on Instagram, and the bagels(and photo opportunities) did not disappoint! The shop looks like any other bagel store on both the outside and inside, but when you get up to the display cases you are greeted with the most glorious colors of bagels you can imagine. The rainbow bagels are of course beautiful, but they also had Christmas colors, cotton candy, ‘stormtrooper’ white vanilla… the list goes on! Such a fun twist on the NYC classic. The line was already pretty long at 9:30AM on a Saturday, but they have a good ordering system so it moved fairly quickly. The people working behind the counter are incredibly pleasant and kind, and most importantly, the bagels do not disappoint! I tried the rainbow bagel with funfetti cream cheese(DELICIOUS) and the French toast cragel(croissant/bagel mix) with Nutella cream cheese(INCREDIBLE). The bagels are not cheap but the price tag is worth it, because where else can you eat a bagel that looks like it was made by Dr. Seuss?

RAINBOWBAGELRAINBOWBAGEL!!! By now I’m sure most people have seen this beautiful creation all over social media. And let me tell you it definitely lived up to expectations. Stopped by around 1 o’clock on a sunday afternoon. The place was full as expected. I got there as they were putting in their past batch of rainbow bagels so they told me it would be about a half an hour wait. They also have a bunch of other colored bagels like blue and white or blue and pink, depending on the time of year. They also had a ton of different kinds of cream cheese! I opted for the funfetti which combined with the rainbow bagel was just fantastic! Apparently you can call ahead to reserve your bagels which I would definitely recommend as they do tend to run out by around two o clock. When i left they still had a few colors but I went back to check around four o clock they were completely out of all of the colored bagels. CASHONLY! There is an atm inside but you don’t want to have to pay those atm fees.

Rainbow donuts is what brought us here. Small place with limited seating. The menu is extensive with a variety of donuts, spreads, and sandwiches. They only make a limited amount of rainbow donuts every day but you can always call ahead and«place an order» to pick up a day or 2 early. The rainbow donut is marketed to be eaten with their funfetti spread which tastes just like cake frosting. The donut itself looks and taste like play-do. There’s not a lot of flavor with a plastic doughy texture. Because of our unsatisfactory experience with the rainbow donut, I also ordered a 2 eggs sandwich on a pumpkin CRAGEL. A croissant + bagel = CRAGEL. And this time, I was much MUCH happier with my choice. The pumpkin cragel is soft and has a mix texture of both the croissant and bagel and it’s also on the tad sweet side form the pumpkin flavor. They have plain and other flavor cragels as well so you can choose for a savory flavor. Coffee was good and the staff was very friendly.

People are really living up the hype of bagels here — the line is always endless! Both regular bagels and creative ones are sold — as a first time, I would strongly suggest the rainbow bagel with cream cheese(you can even choose the color of cream cheese, amazing!). The bagel itself has nothing special, yet the cheese perfectly mixed itself with the bagel — even for a non-cheese eater like me! They don’t accept credit card below 8 dollars though.

Like everyone else, I just had to visit The Bagel Store after seeing pictures of their rainbow bagel all over Instagram. Their unique appearance attracted me right away. A bagel that came in all different colors? I had to see it for myself! It was not very convenient for me to stop by because I live in the city, so I definitely will not be a regular. The Bagel Store is a small little store with no seating, just a counter along the window. Even if there were seating, you would not want to sit with all these people in line on top of you while you attempt to enjoy your bagel, cragel, or pookie cookie. Service was quite slow, expect to wait in line for a while. I’m not sure if the line was the result of the hype or that they are usually just that busy. When you walk in the store, the register is on the right, but they have you line up and make your way to the back to order and then continue in line to the front to pay(basically have you make a U-turn). The person who took my order was very helpful and gave me some recommendations since it was my first time. At the register, however, the person handling the transactions seemed very frantic. I checked in on Unilocal when I was there and was able to receive a free cup of coffee and he acknowledged that and marked it as used, but I guess he forgot about it and after a few minutes, he asked what I was waiting for. I did get my coffee, eventually, and I understand it was pretty hectic for him to take care of everyone at once, but I think that if you’re not finished taking care of one customer, you shouldn’t move on to the next, it would just make things more confusing. They had so many different bagels and a wide variety of cream cheese spreads(some pretty unique ones too)! I ordered the rainbow bagel with funfetti cream cheese and my boyfriend ordered the french toast bagel with nutella cream cheese. The bagels were smaller than I expected. It’s a little pricey for what you get. The rainbow bagel tasted like fruity pebbles cereal. I really liked the funfetti cream cheese. The french toast bagel tasted quite good too. I would love to come back to try the pumpkin cragel!

I’m giving this place 3-stars for now because I may have over did my bagel choice and will definitely need to come back. I decided to get a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Cragel(croissant bagel) with buffalo bacon cream cheese with an order of bacon. Needless to say, this thing was a sodium/salty overload on my body. The line for this place is also ridiculous. 40 minutes just for a bagel. Sometimes you’re better off going somewhere else.

No wonder there is a bagel named after him, because Jonathan Cheban put this bagel place on the map. I trekked to Brooklyn on a rainy day just to try one of their unique colored swirl bagels. However when I got there at 7pm, they were sold out of the rainbow and cotton candy bagels and the funfetti icing but lucky for us, they had some of the Mets bagels left(these are only around for the world series). I got a Mets bagel with strawberry cream cheese. It was amazing! From talking to the helpful staff I learned a couple things: 1) They sell out of their specialty bagels by 2pm no matter the day of the week 2) You can order bagels for pickup the day before to ensure you get the bagels you want 3) They deliver bagels nationwide — however shipping for 4 bagels to Manhattan was $ 20+ and they don’t send their cream cheese(but give instructions on how to make it yourself on their website)

We were on a food walking tour and got to try out the coolest bagels and cream cheese fare ever!!! You have different types of bagels. The regular ones –your classic everything, white, wheat… You have the colored ones. Your have a cragels, which is a mix of a croissant and a bagel… This is amazing! Makes for a very flaky bagel and a sturdier croissant. It’s awesome. These cragels come in really disrupting flavors such as bacon egg and cheese, cinnamon crunch and chocolate chips. Amazing. Just plain amazing carbs on fat on sugar on salt goodness. The cream cheeses are even more extravagant and my favorite were the Nutella one, the cannoli filling one and the birthday cake one. You read well… Now picture pairing a cinnamon crunch cragel with a Nutella cream cheese or cannoli one: heaven. Try a chocolate chip bagel with the birthday cake cream cheese: you die. The salty combos are awesome as well. I loved the bacon egg and cheese bagel plain and with scallion cream cheese. This place is the bomb and the combos of bread stuff: cream cheese stuff will leave you speechless. ENJOY! Oh and the staff: awesome :)

Dennoch gut hier! PS: Special Offer von Unilocal checken!
