Clean. Love it… Wish the guy would open on time! He’s nearly ½ hour late to open. This has happened a few times already.

I have been using them for drop off for over 3 years and have never had an issue. In fact they once stopped me to tell me that something I put in the bag shouldn’t be machine washed and was too delicate!(I am not good at laundry, ok? DON’T JUDGEME). I have also sat in and washed a few big items and towels, I haven’t found it to be dirty or expensive or had to wait for machines. The staff are entirely wonderful, each one of them, particularly the owner who is very friendly. I always tip very well because I appreciate how they have set themselves apart from other laundry spots with their fast service, incredibly impressive ability to neatly fold even the most awkward things, and their friendliness.

I really like this laundromat. The space is very clean. The machines all have electronic timers so you don’t have to guesstimate when your load will be done. The benches outside the premise provide nice seating while you wait, especially when the weather is nice. Like other laundromats in the area, it can get busy on the weekends and during weekday evenings. I go during the less-trafficked hours and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The owners, Mrs Ho, and her brother, Mr Li, are both very nice. I really like that they seem to have a very supportive/peer-like relationship with their staff member(just one). It’s very different from other owners/staff dynamics I’ve seen at other laundromats. Other reviewers have commented that the owners are not very friendly but I think it may be due to the language/cultural barrier.(They’re Chinese.)

Very friendly staff. They have enough washers to keep things moving at a fast pace, and I like that you can choose different size washers. I really like their dryers, always get the job done quickly and can accommodate a lot of clothes. Prices seem fair as well. All in all, one of the nicest in the Park Slope area in my opinion.

The place is clean, staff friendly(though sometimes hours vary a bit) machines work well, HOWEVERDONOTUSETHEIRLAUNDRYDETERGENT if you’re dropping off. The«house» detergent is the most foul smelling cheapest brand imaginable and takes more than one wash to get rid of the smell. It is also possible that they used too much soap, however, I could not wear my clothes until I rewashed, because of the smell. Everything else about this place is A-OK.

I live 34 blocks away and I choose this place over any other place in my hood to do load-it-yourself laundry. I pick it because it’s totally affordable — machines are priced like the pre-CleanRite prices of yesteryear — and because I can frequently find machines and they’re not jerks and they don’t ignore you. The guy actually smiled at me on Sunday night! And he let me take his copy of the NY Times. So, yeah, they rule.

I recently moved to central Park Slope(8th and 8th) from north Park Slope and do not have an abundance of convenient laundromats anymore. I figured this place would be good because I can walk down to the subway to go to work afterwards and then pick up later that night(they are only open until 8pm). The first time I was happy with their drop off service, they did a nice job on my clothes and were friendly enough. The second time they were not open when I went around 8am. Out of the 5 times that I have gone there, 3 times they were not open yet. They claim to open at 7:30am but that seems to be a very loose guideline. Today when I went, I waited for 15 minutes in hopes that they would show up, but at 9am, I had to go look for other options. I guess this place would be good if you can go in the middle of the day, but as for a convenience of an early morning drop off, this place is spotty at best.

When I first moved to Park Slope I went to the laundromat on 8th Ave. and 11th Street. I was not impressed so I looked on Unilocal for some other options. This place was only slightly farther than the one I was going to, but it’s been well worth it. As Cass C. mentions, they have… a variety of great magazines! large folding tables! seats! two benches outside to sit on! and you can even see how many minutes are left on your machine(unlike that place on 8th ave and 12th street!) The owners are very particular about their shop(not super friendly though I try to always say thank you). and they keep it meticulously clean, just be aware not to do anything to piss them off! I’ve been reprimanded not to: 1) put my dirty clothes on the folding tables(oops. those go in the rolling wire bins) and 2) keep my large cart out of the way This place would get 5 stars if they were open later. Last wash is at 6:30 pm people,(on the weekdays) and might be either an hour earlier or later on the weekends… I forget. But all in all, there aren’t a lot of other options and this place does the trick!

They have magazines while you wait. And chairs. And it’s really clean. And the washers and dryers are both digital so you know exactly how much time you have left. I always smile at the owner, but so far he’s been stoic. Stoic to the point of me thinking, «why don’t you like me?» in a whiny voice in my head. But that’s okay because he runs a good shop and I respect him. Who says you have to smile at everyone anyway. I feel lucky to have the gift of Suds on 6th after I went to the laundromat closer to my apt. on 5th once during the day and saw rat feces all over the floor. Gross!

They have a really great drop-off service. I know it would probably be cheaper just doing it on our own, but when we’re busy Suds on 6th is perfect for us. Plus, you’re not waiting forever for clothing to come back. A really nice older couple run the laundromat making me want to continue going there.
