I love eating. sometimes, I like eating a lot. this place is so bad. sent me to the toilet several times. the fact of the matter is that this joint uses poor quality ingredients to provide AYCE at a cheap price. if your eyes are feeling way bigger than your steel-coated stomach and you feel like waiting in the cold for 30 min before you get a table that you have to share with others, go here.

Came back for lunch this time. Got here at 2pm on a Sunday, and the line was starting to form already! Even though lunch has fewer options than dinner, it is only $ 12.95 per person, that’s like a regular row of sushi you can get from any other sushi place. They don’t have the deep fired oyster, sea urchin, nor ikaru sushi for lunch, but I still manage to eat more than enough. I love the assort fish sushi, katsu pork(deep fried pork), and shrimp tempura. The reason I didn’t rate a five star this time was because I witnessed an angry customer drama. When I was eating, all of a sudden this lady next to me flipped out. She was yelling and pointing, saying how she got switched seat 3 times because she was by herself. She claimed she visited the restaurant everyday and would never visit again, and she just walked out and without paying. I understand that Sake is small and they try to accommodate as many customers as they could. But if I were asked to switch seat for three times in one meal, I would have flipped out too. I don’t think that was the right way to treat a customer. And yet, they didn’t do anything to try to fix it and just let the lady walked away without paying.

If you’re absolutely starving and just want all kinds of sushi for a cheap price, this is the spot. It’s all you can eat, $ 12.95 for lunch until 3:30pm. Then $ 17.95 for dinner thereafter. There’s a lot more sushi choices for dinner but still a bargain! We tried a bunch of different sushi and they were SO quick with getting all of our orders out to us. It is almost always packed though, so make sure you fill out the order form ahead of time to save the waiting. We probably only waited 30 mins so it wasn’t so bad. It’s BYOB which was another plus. It’s a bit cramped but what do you expect when it’s such a popular place. Definitely will come back.

Came here on weeknight. It’s less crowded and the servers are more chill than in weekends. With the price of $ 18 per person for dinner menu, this’s a good deal!!!

BEWARE! If you don’t finish your food, you will have to pay a lot more than the fixed rates for lunch/dinner AYCE prices. Ordered a few items with a friend and unfortunately, we didn’t finish as they brought out some items at the very end when we thought we were done eating. So we end up paying 3x the cost of AYCE dinner price for our leftovers. The sushi was ok, wasn’t as fresh but I can see why some patrons here like this place. Better than some other sushi places perhaps.

Sake is an awesome All You Can Eat Sushi spot. The place can get packed so I would suggest getting here early and not coming here on a super empty stomach. You may have to watch and salivate as plates and plates of awesome looking sushi, sashimi, and tempura are served while you wait. A good tip would be to fill out the sheet of what you will order before you are actually seated. This would allow their sushi chefs to muster up your orders ahead of time. For $ 12.95, you can order from a variety of sushi, rolls, salads, tempuras, and udon soups. My personal favorites are as follows: Kani Salad, Shrimp Tempura, Gyoza, Chicken Udon soup, salmon, dragon rolls, and the chicken stir fry udon. The number of pieces are written next to the order so make sure you plan it right if you are in a group or else you may end up with a load of the same sushi. To be honest, after endless amounts of sushi, they all start looking and tasting the same. Make sure you order what you like and pace yourself or else you will find yourself stuffed before you eat your money’s worth. I would visit the location every 2 months or so or you will eventually grow tired/traumatized from the endless gorging involved. PS: Make sure you wear your«AYCE» clothes because you will need it by the time you are done.

This is an ok sushi to go to. Nothing too fancy, nothing too cheap. Good things are BYOB, price, and sashimi. Bad things are: limited sashmi, sushi, only one toilet, seating in the back, service. Sashimi is great because they do cut it out of the best fish, at the same time its bad because you can only get so much of it, so check that box on the bottom left for each person. Sushi is marked bad since they probably pre-make it in advance, and fish quality was visually noticeable when compared with sashimi. Also those seats in the back are horrible, would never even thing of using them, one of those 2 tables was a second rest room at some point, and now they’re down to 1, and having to wait for 3 people to finish was tough. Overall I’d recommend this place given all the conditions above, and I might come back If I’ll be in close proximity.

All You Can Eat Sushi Lunch? Only $ 13? Deal. I cannot even begin to count the number of times my friends and I have frequented this place. This is no five-star sushi spot, but then again, can you really expect that from an all you can eat place? The value is that the sushi and appetizers are consistent, and while not top-notch, definitely satisfying. It is a small spot, and the wait can get long depending on when you’re there. Once we got seated at this weird and awkward spot right by the restrooms, separated from the rest of the crowd, but not in a private room. It was like a table was thrown there because, why not? So not always the greatest atmosphere, but chances are you won’t be seated there. My favorite must try option of theirs is the crab ravioli. I get it every single time I visit, and that’s a lot. It’s delicious, and part of the all-you-can-eat option, so take advantage. Honestly, there’s nothing else that is really special about this place other than the price. If you’re one that has a bottomless stomach — Sake is 100% worth it. If you’re looking for a nice, classy spot to enjoy some exquisite sushi, this is not the place for you.

They have the freshest sushi you can imagine! And you know what else? It’s an all you can eat buffet! They make it to order so the fish can stay as fresh as possible. I come here every time I’m craving sushi and I will not go elsewhere for sushi. I live in queens and it takes me 2 hours to here, but it’s worth it! Since it’s an all you can eat buffet, you can literally order everything on the menu. I always order the appetizer sashimi plate and kani salad when I come here. But I try other items on the menu, many of which meets beyond my expectations. The restaurant is like any other sushi restaurant with a full view of chefs making the sushi in the the back. However, it’s quite a small place for trying to accomodate too many customers, so the tables are very small. When it gets busy, it gets really busy. The staff will run around like crazy and may even forget your order, which is understandable. Also, you may have to wait a while for your order. Other than that, never question the food. It’s amazing!

REALLY tough to beat Sake on the All You Can Eat Lunch Special! Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve had higher end fare, but we were happy with 98.9763257% of what we are here. Will go again. We were first customers of the day, and the place filled up pretty fast.

Best AYCE sushi experience I’ve had. There is always a line which gives me comfort since high turnover = fresher fish. Our wait was about 50 min on a Friday night. Its BYOB. Note on seating. It’s tight. There are also two back rooms. One by the bathroom — I will not want to sit there, it’s literally sitting inside a windowless closet. Another one all the way in the back and a little bit more civil and maybe doable if you really don’t want to wait longer. I suggest asking the front lady really really nicely if you prefer not to be seated in those back rooms. Also, you need to strategize on ordering. You stone sheet per table. There area couple of items that are limited — urchin and sashimi appetizer. I suggest maxing out on those. I was a bit worried about the urchin but they ended up pretty fresh and yummy. The sushi selection is quite extensive. We had salmon, hamachi, scallop(so good!!), eel(must have), fluke(ok). Except for the mackerel, they’re all quite fresh. I also love their sushi rice. The eel sushi came out warm — so good. The special rolls are included in the AYCE. They are huge! Not because they stuff them with rice but just because they’re huge! I think one will already fill you up, so again, order wisely. The shrimp and oyster tempura are good too. I’ll order those in between next time to break my taste buds a bit before ordering more sushi!!! Skip the salad or ask for dressing on the side, ours was swimming in the dressing. I didn’t find any issues with the service. Our water is refilled constantly. I’ll totally come back — maybe come earlier to avoid the long line.

This is All You Can Eat sushi at it’s best. For $ 12.95 for lunch, what more can you ask for? I’ve been here several times and you always get what you pay for. Is this the freshest and best tasting sushi you’ll ever have? Probably not. But for the price, anywhere else you’ll be able to get 2 or 3 rolls, at best. Here, your $ 12.95 gets you hot appetizers, including things like edamame and teriyaki salmon, but the star of the show is the sushi selection. Anything you’d expect, from tuna and salmon rolls, to tempura rolls, they’re here. There’s even a nice selection of special rolls here that are part of the AYCE menu. The negative? Service can be a bit iffy at times. You might have trouble flagging down the waitstaff. Depending on what time you’re going, you may need to wait to be seated, as it can get quite busy here. You might be seated next to some strange people from time to time. It can also get quite loud in here with everyone yelling over eachother, so don’t expect this to be an intimate experience. Also, keep in mind you order your sushi on a piece of paper. Sometimes you might not get everything you ordered, so be prepared to order it again on another sheet. But if you’re craving a lot of sushi and your stomach is ready for it, this is your place.

I love this place! $ 12.99 for all you can eat lunch special. I ordered so much and loved everything I got here. It was crowded when I came here on a Sunday afternoon. There were two people ahead of me and had to wait about 10 mins. which was not bad. I don’t know what is with the bad reviews. Sure the food took some time, but its an all you can eat and it is packed. I did not mind sitting and waiting for my food to come. I didn’t even eat dinner when I came here because I was so full. The crab ravioli was so good. Also I really enjoyed the avocado and kani salad. The dragon and rainbow sushi was also amazing. I did not expect the quality that came with the food here especially because of the price tag. This spot is a solid A in my book. I will definitelly come back here again!

AYCE sushi for a cheap price. $ 17.95 for dinner + tip. Street parking can be hard to find depending on the time of day that you go. Keep in mind the long wait times and tiny dining space and you have to question, if its worth it. Then you remember how cheap it is in comparison to other AYCE sushi and go anyways haha. The wait time for Sake at dinner sometimes can be up to 90 minutes ive seen personally. You can give them your phone number so they will call you when the table is ready since the waiting area is fairly small. They use every space they can for walkways and tables to seat people. You’re giving a paper menu to fill out prior to seating so you can order right away. This AYCE sushi buffet is made to order and has a decent variety. It is a little upsetting that there is no real sashimi options, but the sushi is fairly fresh and comes quick. Order after order comes pouring. Usually for me it is faster than we can clear the space on the table I personally love ordering the kani salad here when im hungry. It comes out almost instantly.

Your belly will definitely get filled. Sake offers the the most decent kind of sushi you can get at a low price. The line is long but it’s worth the wait. There isn’t too much space but c’mon, it’s all you can eat!!! Every time I came here, I’d eat until I felt like my tummy was going to burst. I have yet experienced anything terrible yet. What most people forget is that the all you can eat is an OPTION. If you go with friends but you don’t want the buffet, it’s ok. You can order like it’s a normal sushi restaurant.(although I don’t know the reason you chose Sake in that case)

This place can get really crowded with almost no elbow space(yes, tables are pushed THAT close together), but the quality of food isn’t bad. There was a very long wait on that Saturday night I went. Thankfully, it wasn’t too cold outside because there isn’t much room to wait inside. They have sea urchin and scallop, which are both things I have not yet seen at any other AYCE sushi joint. They do limit the sea urchin to 2 per guest during the buffet. The rest of their menu is pretty standard. I imagine it’s hard to get creative with the menu since everyone wants the same stuff(I guess?). Downside is that ice cream is NOT included in the AYCE price, which is unlike other AYCE sushi places as well.

Been here way too many times then I’ll like to admit. Not really a big fan of the AYCE sushi here, the quality is much like lunch specials you get from random average sushi spots around the city. The place is always full of high schoolers or families that live in the neighborhood. Only time it’s empty is during lunch(cheaper but certain items excluded in the menu). Sometimes the servers end up giving your dish to the wrong table and orders get forgotten. I guess it makes sense when you’re not really paying for much. Service is alright at best. The menu is basically a sheet of paper you get to check off items you would like to order. Also you cannot waste food and must finish every roll or you will be charged extra.

ALLYOUCANEATSUSHI $ 17.95 and the sushi tastes just as good or even better than the best sushi restaurant you have been to in NYC. I swear to it! + Quality — Seriously, the sushi is all you can eat and the freshest quality I have eaten in NYC. The sushi restaurants that serve $ 20 rolls don’t match Sake in terms of quality. Try it to believe it! + Must try — Surfclams Sushi, Sampler Appetizer, White Tuna, Rainbow Roll, fried oysters, kani salad. + Order on a menu– write the number of pieces you’d like next to the menu item(some dishes have a limit ie. Sashimi Appetizer and Sea Urchin). Order as many as you’d like, but remember you will need to finish it. There is an undisclosed fee for leftover food. Bring a ziplock bag in case you cannot finish. Gallon size. + Not limited to sushi. Other dishes include appetizers, gyoza, edamame, shumai, stir-fry udon(who orders this?). — In Brooklyn, 30−45mins. from subway ride from Times Square. Well worth it. — Long wait — We went at 6pm on a weekday and seated immediately. By 7 there was a line out the door. Kinda expected knowing how great this place is! — Avoid the pink lady sushi unless you want your face to scrunch up.

Listen to the bad reviews. They’re bad for a reason. Not worth the $ 20+tax&tip. I highly recommend everyone to not eat here. Went on a Thursday night with 3 friends. Waited about 5mins. We were seated in the tiny cubicle adjacent to the bathroom. It was a very cozy fit(essentially a niche in the wall) with a lot of privacy(unless there was people waiting for the bathroom). I think if the restaurant is very busy, they will try to fit a group of 5 in there as there was 3 chairs against the wall. If you have a bit of a belly, you should be scared of accidentally knocking over plates/cups while trying to slide into your seat, as there is only 6inches of space between the end of the table and the wall. Food was eh — too much MSG. I was extremely thirsty after leaving the restaurant. They use the same brown gloopy sauce on everything I. e mussels, asparagus etc. The uni was HORRIBLE! It should not even be on the menu! Tasted like expired fish and garbage. My friend got sick from just a bite of it! All of the sushi rolls tasted the same after a while. The rice texture was wrong for sushi. At first they tasted decent, but after a couple of pcs, I got tired of it. The fish was lukewarm. There were big pcs of fish bones in the eel and spicy salmon. Oh, and the chef puts crunchy flakes on everything. Even though it was cheap for dinner, I would recommend ppl to go elsewhere and pay a little more for better quality food. As the saying goes: «you get what you pay for.»

The food actually is not bad for a $ 12.95AYCE lunch buffet. You get your standard rolls, a few special rolls, a handful of fish to choose from for sushi, and pretty much any Chinese-run sushi spot dish you can think of —(kani salad, tempura, gyoza, udon, teriyaki, etc.) The raw fish is alright. It’s what you would expect from a place like this. You can’t expect super high quality sushi for the price they charge you here. The only issue is that you can’t really tell which fish is what. Some of them look slightly different but taste exactly the same. My party of four came here for Mother’s Day at around 11:30 and it was already packed, even though it only just opened at 11. We got lucky and nabbed the last table. The place is small and they try to fit as many tables as possible so it does get cramped. Chances are, you’ll be sitting elbow to elbow with a stranger. The service wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t horrendous either. It did take a while to get certain items, and they did forget a few items. But by then, we were pretty stuffed already so it worked out for the best!(They charge if you have a lot of food leftover). I probably won’t be back but only because there are other AYCE sushi places in Brooklyn that I’d like to try. And it’s not like there was really anything outstanding about this place.
