It’s soooo good to have phở in such a cold weather! I always order the 1st on menu, the classic phở. Its huuuuuge! I feel even a big guy can not finish it. My bf ordered 50th on menu, looks really yummy and he likes it. We also get the appetizer spring roll which is 27. That one is something 100% need to try. Really crispy outside, the chx pork filling is great, I love it with woodear mushroom. The restaurant isn’t that big, every time I go there, it’s full. So u know it’s good. Just try to get the table inside, Coz it’s really cold sitting by the door with customers go in n out.

It hey have good food here but there is one problem which is the language barrier. I have eaten inside twice and both times I ate here the waitress I got didn’t really speak English and we didn’t really understand what she was saying and she got mad and walked away. I’ve tried the the Bön mi sandwich and it was really good. I also tried the phở soup and it’s really good. They have a bunch of different kinds. I usually get the one that comes with brisket. Than they have this vegetable you can put mix in. Some people don’t think soup can fill you up but this soup fills you up with all the meats and noodles in it and it’s a big bowl! I also recently tried there shrimp roll. It wasn’t fried like it normal is it was wrapped in the sticky type wrap and it had shrimp and vegetables in it. I would come back for the food.

This is the place to go for phở! Especially on a cold day to warm up! I recommend coming here for food!

Servers are a bit crabby. The prices keep going up but no improvement on the food. I went here when I was a vegetarian and when I was not — vegetarian options are eh

Quick and timely service. My favorite dish here is the #1.

I come here from time to time. Their prices increase time to time as well. The food quality is sometimes okay and sometimes it’s really good. I guess it depends which chef cooks that day and how busy it gets. Don’t expect excellent service here.

Yes to everything on the menu. One of the most authentic Vietnamese places in the city(according to my dad, who has been to Vietnam). If you are considering phở, get the #1. Good size and cheap. If you want a rice dish instead, consider either the Vietnamese«three treasure» rice(comes with chicken cutlet, egg with vermicelli, and pork veggie salad) or the pork chop over rice. Spring rolls are also very good — nice and crunchy, but be careful, they take a while to cool. Big place but is very busy, so you may have a 5 minute wait. Wait staff is attentive and nice. They’ll try their hardest to explain the menu to you even if they don’t speak English. I always tip well because of excellent food and service.

My go to Vietnamese restaurant. It’s also the closest one to my house :) Due to frequent visits, I tend to receive better service than most. Food is cheap and turn around is quite fast, so don’t expect great service. They really just take your order and bring your food, don’t expect anything else. The food is great though. Huge piping hot noodle soup, delicious rice dishes and amazing summer rolls.

Food wise is good, but poor service. I think it is because there are no competitions around the area. The short and bald guy is rude everytime I visited, he is very consistent on delivering very poor customer service. Be careful not to tell him anything you need(fork, sauce, spoon, anything), cuz it’s just giving him a chance to give you the face and say sth rude to you. I don’t recommend to visit this resturant so they know the problem. We are customers who bring them business. We deserve at least decent customer service.

I used to come here so often years and years ago, and I loved their food here. Now I’m temporarily back in Brooklyn, I went back and was completely disappointed by the service, the food and the overall quality of this restaurant. The food is no longer finger licking good, the spring rolls are oily and average. The noodle soup lack flavor. The service here is below average, this being one of the few phở place in a large asian population area, they do get a lot of business, so the waiters are always rushing. They just want you in and out and not caring about the service quality. I wouldn’t be back here anymore.

I’ve been coming here as early as second grade, and I loved it. Disappointed to say that was all in the past. The service has gotten a lot worse since my last visit. I also suspect the chefs do not make the food when we ask for it. A party of five ordered three #1 and two pork noodle. They served it to us within five minutes. Yes, I am hungry but this is a little sus. The soup was barely warm, as if they had a whole pot of this soup base and they just had it reheated in a microwave. The soup base wasnt strong(diluted). The portions are getting smaller. I can get bigger bowls for $ 2 more at Chinatown. Then we ordered 8 piece egg roll. The ingredients inside were pretty fresh. The outter shell looked gross though. It looks like they reuse oil for a month. I can understand if you reuse oil for a week, but for a month. dont even get me started on how the fatty acids change structures after repeated exposure to high temperature, which is even more harmful to our body. The workers rushed us to pay the check right when we finished eating. We need time to digest even if thr portions are small!

I always refer to Brooklyn phở as the«real» phở. I know that sounds pretentious, but I’ve had phở in different cities/countries, and this is the phở I come running back to. Food: YUMMY! and decently priced Service: Depends on the waiter, but it’s no five star dining so someone might give you an attitude. It’s perfect for brunch(not your typical eggs & toast) after a fun night out with your friends or a casual Sunday dinner with your family. I always go for the grilled chicken phở(noodle soup). It’s like the classic beef phở, but served in a smaller ball with grilled chicken on the side. Perfect in portion. For apps, I share either spring rolls or summer rolls. Beef cubes over rice is another popular dish that never fails to satisfy. One thing I love about this place is that I can always count on the food to be good, whether I try new things on the menu or order the same thing each time. I tried the avocado shake for the first time and it was a new/different way to eat avocados. It was good and could be a dessert to your meal, because it’s sweet and heavy. It gets busy on weekends, especially during dinner time but food comes out quick, so your wait won’t be long. They take debit/credit cards, which is rare to see in this neighborhood.

Overdosed on Rice but Freaking Super skimpy on the meat! Only 1 puny piece of pork chop for $ 9! This is a surprising joke in the box! Called the restaurant and complained, no apologies whatsoever and told me with an attitude, «This is how our restaurant is!» In Chinese and hung up! This is their customer service! Beware and order some place else! Unless you wanna pay $ 9 for a box of pork bone on rice!

Staff: 2 out of 5 for service. No one made eye contact nor cared to seat us when me and my bf walked in. This girl who looked so blanked out just pointed to the back and told us to pick a seat. Afterwards no one come to take our order or get us our check except this one Spanish kitchen busboy, who apparently did a better job at servicing than the actual front staff. The bald guy who works in the front just looks at us and pretend not to see us when we needed service. I would have gave –1 for the staff but since this one guy went out of his way of just to take our order gets a 4. Food: 4 out of 5. Good flavor but very skimpy on portion. I ordered a number 5 and bf ordered a number 1. His bowl was missing some items as promised on the menu. Pricing: kind of high and overpriced for their food which is kinda never constant. I was very disappointed that they had a rude service. Not only that but we were charged 2 number 1s. I only noticed after we paid and left wondering why it was so expensive for the bowls we ordered I would not recommend this place to anyone and would recommend elsewhere for Viet.

Food wise, it’s awesome. I had the minced beef which looked like tiny pieces of goodness in a plate. I usually don’t like medium rare meat but this one’s an exception, maybe it’s because of how it looks or just the overall taste but this definitely is one to remember. Spring rolls are very exceptional, wrapped with lettuce as it regularly is. Very crunchy wrap and juicy meat. The only«problem» with this place is the staff, they should at least smile more, seems to be to be busy to care. But overall, the place is an awesome place to eat at.

Yes, this is one of the better Vietnamese in Brooklyn. They have all the stables that you would want to order. Noodle with beef phở a must at this location Beef cube has the best aroma sometimes it can be a little under done Love their fried egg rolls Today we tried the three kinds of beef with vermicilli love it Can’t go wrong with anything you order.

Ordered Take Out from this place because my mom said this place was really good when she went to eat with her friends at night but that was not the case. CONS: — OVERPRICED Viet Food. I had the old menu(from 1 month ago) with me when I called and ordered. So when I went to pick up the food and pay for it, I was like why is it so much more expensive. Prices went up like $ 1 each compared to the old menu. $ 6 for 4 spring rolls — That’s expensive! Nha Trang in Chinatown is cheaper and tasted better. If I ever want Viet food, I’m going to Chinatown for it. — #27 Spring Rolls($ 6 for 4 spring rolls — Pricey) They were not crunchy but this was probably because I got it to go and it was a 8 minute distance from the restaurant and back home. — #71 Com Bo Luc Lac — Beef Cubes over fried rice(approx $ 12) Menu was $ 9.25 for regular rice. With Fried Rice its $ 12. Old Menu’s cost was $ 8.25. The beef was old and tough. The chef put too much sauce in this dish so it was very salty. Note: Not coming back here again. Not worth it.

No wonders can explain how much I love this place! The seating is moderately spacious, the environment is friendly and comfortable, a great place to dine and attire is casual! The food is AMAZING and extremely impressive for a Vietnamese restaurant in my neighborhood. I have been going here for years! With family, friends; it’s basically magical. The service is good and tableware is clean enough. Seats are ok-comfortable. Here I ordered #1(it’s phở that you MUST get to start off your vacation here) and cold tea with condensed milk. The beef cubes with rice are also a complete MUST when you go there. It includes slices of tomatoes, and that’s basically all I can remember lol. The tea(which is free and served to you) feels lovely and… Kind? Gives me a warm feeling of temporary-home. Anyhow, GOHERE! And maybe find me! Maybe…

Came here with my friend for a quick lunch. We order the number 1, grilled chicken pork chop and the large spring rolls. They have hoisin sauce and sriracha at the table as condiments. Since we order a number 1, it comes with bean sprouts, lime and mint herb. The large spring rolls come with lettuce and a fish sauce mixture. The fried spring rolls with lettuce and a fish sauce mixture was crispiness, and texture were excellent. The number 1 and grilled chicken pork chop was standard. This place could be a four stars but the place lost a star because of the service. Our table was near the kitchen. Not a problem, but the waiter have to stand next to me the whole time during our meal. It was basically someone was watching over us during our lunch. Don’t worry, I do not plan to dine and ditch!
