I paid Rugs Cleaning exactly what they quoted($ 350 plus tip, unfortunately, in cash). First mistake. The one cleaner who showed up sprayed a solution on the rugs and then vacuumed them with a machine that sucked up the solution. When he was done, he showed me a container of grey liquid. I pointed out some areas and borders that did not appear clean. He told me to wait until the rugs dried. I did. THERESULTSWEREAWFUL. The rugs were worse than before the«cleaning», The colors used to be bright but now there is a dull haze as if the liquid spread the dirt around. I e-mailed Peter to complain and he did respond. He asked me to send photos to verify my complaint. I did. And that was the last and only communication I received. I called and left at least 10 messages and e-mails. And then, in frustration I walked over to 212 W 82nd Street to the«office». The building is a residential apartment building and no RUGSCLEANING was listed on directory. There was no Peter Somebody either. They advertise that they will come to re-do the job to the customers satisfaction. I doubt that this company exists because they are nowhere to be found. This experience was a rip-off. BUYERBEWARE ! DONOTUSETHISSERVICE. My rating is minus zero!
