The best Mexican tacos I’ve ever had in the states. Amazing veggie burrito as well. Run by a very kind man who seems to take care of everyone who walks through the door.

Great burrito! Carnitas were awesome! The tamarindo is out of control, with an amazing lemony or limey flavor I’ve never experienced before. I hear the huaraches are great too but I’ll have to try next time

Anyone talking about grime in this squeaky-clean tiny bundle of deliciousness is a racist hipster. I LOVE Regalo DJ– they’re so sweet and the food is bangin. They made an easy-to-make mistake with an order and had the correct one ready immediately and apologized profusely. I could feel the tone from the tiny group of folks eating or waiting shift palpably against this super-kind man and sooo felt for him & his crew. FYI Sunday night delivery/takeout orders in certain cesspools of Brooklyn are INSANE– I’ve had that job and it is TERRIFYING. Often nobody can work hard or fast enough no matter what you do or who you call in. Order from here! Sit and eat here! Tip well!

I recommend going in to order or else you’ll be waiting 2 hours for your food. I always get the Picadas with chicken, beans lettuce, and hot sauce. They make them different sometimes it’s shredded meat with red sauce and sometimes it’s chunky meat with green sauce. The place is hit or miss it used to be consistent. The chicken burritos are good but be careful when chewing you might get a bone.

Worst service ever take forever to get your food, I called for a for a delivery once and they took around 1 hour and 45minutes for me to get my food and I only live 2 blocks away. Also I happened to find hair in my food. The only reason this store gets any attention is because it’s one of the only Mexican places around this area now if you want some good Mexican food go to park slope 23st and 4ave great tacos and express service, a little bit far but it’s worth the trip

Terrible delivery service. I’m still waiting on my food as I’m writing this and have been waiting for over 2 hours. Do not order from here.

I’m updating my review because the staff is becoming very rude. Hang up the phones on us when we try to order, tell us to come back because it’s so busy now. Good Mexican food just shitty attitudes now.

Great stuff. Never had a bad taco from here, prices are very good and they seem to have snagged the bushwick hipster crowds late night so good on them. Wish they had more offal specialties but I might be in the minority asking for pork stomach. Eat in to avoid screw ups, that’s the only reason they got one star off from me, they can be a little absent-minded once things start getting wrapped up. But seriously, if it’s between this and a deli sandwich at 1:00 am, you better be at the counter ordering some tacos.

Honestly I was skeptical to order online from here because of the bad reviews but thankfully I have this place a shot. Love love love. 30 minutes to get my food, I did call to confirm the order was placed though.(Tip from a fellow reviewer). My food showed up piping hot and my juice I ordered was nicely chilled. This is some pretty amazing Mexican food. Also, the burrito I got is the size of a small child so that’s a plus. Thank you staff, nice job.

I’m always looking for an authentic burrito that will fulfill my California roots, this place doesn’t quite do that. I have ordered from here several times and default to nachos or the huarache to get the Mexican fix that I need, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to say that its the best. They are friendly, cheap and deliver quickly. Nuff said.

This is my third time ordering from this place 3 days in a row. Honestly i am very impressed by how quick/delicious/hot my food was, for me always ordering out i kinda always get crappy delivery time and soggy non-tasteful food. So for me i wasn’t expecting such great service but i’m glad i gave this place a try! Thank god their is still such a decent place around here to still order from. I wish i lived upstairs from this place cause it would be all i can eat! KEEPITUP!

The food is pretty solid but the delivery time is terrible. I was quoted 45 minutes — 1 hour but it arrive in a bit over 2 hours. I was starving by the time and it definitely wasn’t worth it. I ordered horchata but they delivered some tamarind drink. I had a chorizo torta which was pretty delicious, it came with a side of green sauce which was a nice addition. My girlfriend went with the breaded chicken torta which she enjoyed. We asked for no jalapenos but of course it came with them. They were only $ 5 each and if it hadn’t taken 2 hours I would definitely put them on my list but with the slow delivery and poor attention to detail it’s going to be a pass for me in the future.

Review based on delivery: Pros: Cheap, delicious food in large portions. The quesadillas were thick with filling and well seasoned. The nachos were smothered in refried beans and lots of avocado and peppers. Even the cheesecake was thick and perfect. Cons: Delivery took a solid two hours. I really wish I’d read other reviews about this fact before I ordered, but I also ordered after midnight, and considering my options at the time, I’m glad it’s there. Tortillas and chips arrive soggy which is kind of a letdown, but it’s all so tasty, I didn’t let it get to me. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience worth waiting for, and the leftovers crisped up nicely in the oven the next day.

Apparently Mexican restaurants hidden in delis are something I’m just finding out about… I came here for a friend’s going away party on a Sat night. They pulled out extra tables and chairs since we were a large group, which I thought was sweet. I ordered the cecina torta, which came out pretty quickly. However, they got a lot of other orders wrong and put them in front of the wrong people, which led to confusion. I think they just totally forgot about my friend’s order, so she had to go remind them. I enjoyed my torta, although my friend thought the cecina was too salty for her taste. They also give you chips and green sauce as an appetizer, which I liked. The fridge is stocked with a big variety of beer and you pay after you take as many as you’d like, which is cool. There’s a beer opener hanging at the counter, lending a casual feel to the place. I have to mention that I saw a roach in the bathroom, which is within the kitchen. I’m not a snob about sanitary conditions, but it was still disconcerting…

As other reviewers have mentioned, delivery does take a while, but I’ve discovered the trick is to call and confirm your order after you place it on Seamless. The prices are insanely cheap, and their delivery minimum is like 8 dollars. Also this is one of the only 24 hr spots in my hood. I usually get the: Pollo Quesadilla — $ 5.00 Huevos Rancheros — $ 6.00 Huevos a La Mexicana — $ 6.00 The quesadilla was so delicious I felt like I came in my mouth. And boy were they filling! Rarely has a quesadilla been able to stand on its own as an entire meal, but this one was so enormous I almost didn’t have room for the Mexican breakfast – another solid, if unadventurous choice. So yeah, this place is the tits and well worth the wait.

I wish that I could give this place half a star. My wife and I ordered two burritos two empanadas and horchata. She was told delivery would take 20 — 30 mins. After an hour and a half and two phone calls we are still waiting for our food. When I finally called back to cancel the order the guy on the phone told me it would be another 5 to 10 mins right after he told my wife it was already out for delivery. When canceling he was crazy rude and hung up the phone on me. So even if their food is good. You may have to wait forever for it. Or in our case never get it at all. Will never order again. Simply because of some of the worst customee service in the world. My recommendation would be to save your time and just order from some place else. You will be eating much sooner.

My friend and I were looking for a Mexican joint that could equal the tasty cheapness of those in florida when we stumbled upon Regalo de Juquila. This resulted in a Harold and Kumar-esque journey of deliciousness. We tried to order online, but our credit card would not go through, so we decided to call them, but we were cutoff as we were finishing the address. We proceeded to call them for another 10 minutes, but no one picked up, so we decided to get out lazy asses up and take the 15 minute walk there. Best decision ever. We passed the place because of its inconspicuous exterior and when we finally found it, I questioned our decision to follow through, but my friend stood our initial ground as we placed our order for the 7th time that evening. The cook apologized to us, but his phone ran out of battery because of all the calls coming in due to the internet online service crashing. Also all of his hired help for 2 days failed to show their faces. We told him no problem and waited for our food. We ran back home to feast on our $ 22 meal and we were blown out of the water by the flavors. We ordered the beef and cheese empanadas, which were both seasoned to perfection. my friend ordered a veggie burrito the size of a baby. My chicken enchalada melted upon contact with my tongue. The mole chicken tamales were the best I have ever eaten. They were not dry and not too moist, while the chicken kept its own flavor. Even the rice and beans, which many places dont show enough care for, were amazing. Regalo was truly a gift and you would be an idiot not to go there. I will be making the trip from Jersey to go again and again. The only reason this place is 5 stars is because there is no 10.
