My friend kept telling me they has the best taco in the town so we tried together and it was soooo tasty. Can’t wait to go back and try their taco!

Ordered for delivery over the phone because seamless wasn’t working at the moment and boy what a mistake that was. The girl who answered the phone barely understood English and even when I spoke to her in Spanish she kept messing up our order. There were awkward gaps of silence — where I was like HELLO? Did you get that last one? She’ll pause and then finally answer. She was clearly distracted. After a gruesome 10 – 15 mins of ordering like 10 different items, we finally completed our order. ETA was about 30 – 40 mins. 1 hour goes by and they were closing in 5 minutes. When I called the same girl was dazed and confused once again but managed to get a hold of the delivery guy — who was 10 mins away. Delivery was delayed because he was out on another delivery and they had to wait for him to return. At last, our food arrived. Here’s the outcome of what I tried: Al pastor tacos — their best tacos, deliciously juicy and flavorful. Chicken tinga tostadas — spicy shredded chicken on a crispy tortilla. So good. Cheese quesadilla — while very large(two people can split in half), the corn tortilla and sour cheese didn’t go well. Some dishes were good, some were OK — so I’m torn about this place. The phone service was really just a mess, though. She was nice but so distracted and confused.

This restaurant is pretty good. Nice little family joint. I had to give them the two stars to get their attention though. I just walked in and bought a burrito. Got home two minutes later and find the burrito is actually cold. Some ingredients are Slightly warm but mostly cold. Having to microwave your food right out of the bag is a bummer. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again.

OMG… the food was wow… It is a hole in the wall but it is so delicious, I just finished dinner and I want more lol. I ordered the steak taco and the tinga(chicken) tostada and my mouth is watering thinking about it. The meat was so flavorful and I am speechless after tasting the food. And it was so cheap. It is really the best value for your buck. If you love Mexican food, YOUMUSTORDERFROMHERE!!! It is probably one of the best tacos I have ever had.

An intimate and no-frills small business, the food is good, and the people are pleasant. As a vegetarian, I was a bit at a disadvantage with the menu, but they do have options. I’ll definitely be back for another giant aguacate(avocado) burrito!

My favorite cheap dinner around. Fantastic tacos. Fresh and cheap. Al Pastor is easily my favorite. Love this place!

Great tacos from a tiny no-frills taqueria. The Al Pastor one is definitely worth the extra +$ 1 or whatever! I’ve gotten the chilaquiles also, which was really good, and the chicken flautas, which were really disappointing for how much $$ they were. Seriously though these are the best tacos I’ve had in Bushwick. I dream of these tacos.

Just damn good. I am so happy to see that others like this gem like I do. They are ao accomodating and pleasent when it comes to special requests. They are fast at delivery. In the summer months the restaurant has great seating outside in front of the restaurant. It is a sweet deal.

Don’t know what everyone is raving about. Agreed with all the other one and two stars. We were overcharged. The food didn’t come with rice and beans or salad. They sent one flaunta. It was flavorless. $ 36 for nothing.

I almost don’t want to write a review on Tres Espigas because it’s one of the few remaining hidden treasures left in Bushwick. Hole-in-the-wall taqueria, the kitchen literally takes up 50% of the room, there are maybe 8 seats in the dine-in section, but it has the best tacos in Bushwick. Don’t even bring up Tortilla Factory/Tres Hermanos, there’s no comparison. The breakfast special is the best and most delicious deal ever; the carne enchiladas are SO rad, as are the chorizo and chicken(that goes for tortas, cemitas, and tacos). They’ve got mexican cokes, jarritos, and the price is right. If you’re on a taco tear, Tres Espigas will not disappoint

Going keep this one short and sweet — authentic, family style place that has pretty awesome tacos(that’s all I had here). Good service — the place itself basic and not too big. But I think a lot of people end up doing take out, so you may be able to score a seat. Pretty quick turnaround and reasonable prices. Nice place to grab some simple but tasty food.

I’m a taco junkie, and Tres Espigas is on the money. I love their Pastor & their Chorizo. There’s something about their tortillas — a little chewier and denser than other taquerias — that’s very pleasant. And a big fan of the outdoor seating — the bright colors and friendly ladies transport you out of Brooklyn for the few delicious moments it takes you to scarf the tacos. Enjoy with a delicious iced coffee from the coffee shop next door!

I’m just trying to figure out what human being with taste buds and an intestinal system thinks this is worth four stars… or worth putting through your body. Long story short — we went here because of the Unilocal reviews with an optimistic outlook. Ordered a quesadilla, burrito, and a cemita. The pork was crazy fatty. We had even asked how the cut was and we were told«it’s very lean. Best cut.» The«chorizo»(which I’ve never seen meat in this color) looked like bacon bits and was crazy salty. We even asked the waitress what she thought of the cemita prior to ordering and she said she had had it once, four months ago. Bottom line, food is not up to par, there are two microwaves in your face while you eat(spells delicious) and they shorted us $ 5 on our change from the bill hoping we wouldn’t notice. In the words of Rosa Parks, «Nah. I’m good.»

Just moved to the neighborhood and had dinner here outside in the wooden tables. My sister had the avocado quesadilla which was enormous and delicious. I had chicken fajitas that hit the spot with really fresh tortillas. Their guacamole(more like an avocado salsa) is SOGOOD I could not stop eating it. So excited to eat here all the time.

First time at this neighborhoods mexican restaurant. Service with a smile. It was a nice summer day, so I sat outside on the wooden bench. I came here for lunch. Ordered the Chicken Tinga Tostada($ 2.50) It was tasty. Also ordered the Steak Taco($ 2.50) It is made authentic mexican style. With chopped up beef, onions & cilantro. Both were good choice. I enjoyed my meal. I left a generous tip for quick & friendly service and tasty food.
