Nice Pizza

I was a regular customer but placed definitively my last order with them !!!
I was used to order online but I decided to stop by one night. And I am glad I did it !!! The owners don’t have any clue how to treat a customer !!! They are very rude and very disrespectful.
Plus, the food isn’t that great. It is ok sometimes when you are craving for a pizza. But then you realize how expensive it is for 2 poor small slices of tomatoes on a pizza.

Is it just me or is food just getting worse in this city? Crust is so thin and dry it just breaks apart. It’s also so insubstantial that it just feels like you’re eating salty, low grade cheese. The sauce, is it Prego?

The one star is for the pizza which is actually good. I WAS a regular customer but that ended today.
I ordered on grubhub around 2:30pm. At 4 pm my pizza still had not arrived so I called the pizza shop. They said it had already been sent out. I love two blocks away so it shouldn’t have taken more than five or so minutes to get here. The delivery guy gets here and says «check it» like he KNEW it was the wrong order. So I do and YUP. YOU GUESSED IT. it’s THE WRONG PIZZA.
He said «you don’t want it?»
I said «no.» And handed it back to him. He says «well it’ll be another 40 minutes»
AFTER WE ALREADY WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF.
So I call grubhub. The rep said she would call Nice Pizza and sort things out.
She calls back and informs me that they’ll be issuing a full refund, plus a $ 10 credit from grubhub and sending an extra pizza. When the guy gets here again he rings the bell like a maniac. I asked him «how many times are you going to ring the bell?» And he says «well I’m tired of coming here» WELL MAYBE YOU ALL SHOULDNT HAVE MESSED UP in the first place! He was so RUDE. The pizza was fine. But it’s not worth the headache. I was a regular customer but I’m NEVER EVER ordering from here EVER again.

There should be a disclaimer that indicates this is not real pizza. It’s kind of like a pizza, but on a big cracker.
We spent $ 50 with tip for 2 pizzas, they forgot our weird specialty bacon pie and gave us a huge cracker with some tomato sauce and cheese on it.
The specialty pie finally arrived, and it wasn’t special at all.

Waited an hour and a half for delivery (!!!).
Pizza was cold when it arrived (duh).
If that wasn’t bad enough, the pizza itself was not appetizing. Sparse, sad toppings, congealed greasy cheese, and seriously what is up with the crust? It’s like eating a thin airy cracker.
I was insulted by the quality of this pizza.
Will not be returning.

How this place has 3.5 stars is beyond me. The salad with tuna we ordered came served with ranch dressing and when we brought it to their attention that ranch-​tuna-​anchovies isn’t the best combo they got really snarky with us. Then when our pizza came out the tomato had produce stickers on it… Lol they comped our salad and that was nice but still won’t be back. Edit: The manager came out and apologized and gave us free drinks. So I’ll give it 2 stars

I’ve been ordering from these guys once a week for over a month now because it’s great pizza and I live down the street but the delivery times are getting ridiculous. I could walk the mile or less there and get pizza faster.
Long story short, it took 2 hours for my pizza delivery on a night I was particularly hungry. After calling in, I was told that it would be delivered shortly. 20 minutes later, I finally received my lukewarm pizza. I’d love to remain a customer but it seems like I’m going to have to find an alternative spot to frequent.

Pizza was not only delivered 50 minutes late but was also completely burnt on the edges…

we ordered a pizza saturday night that took 2 hours to deliver despite being a 5 minute drive away, and when it arrived it was half burnt to a crisp and was as thin as paper.

Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza to go. It took awhile (30 minutes or so) but worth it. Best thin crust I had in a long time. Definitely will go back there, probably for a sit down. Seems casual yet nice enough for a date, too.

Very good pizza, but the delivery time +1h (I’m few blocks from the place, 8 mins walking) Do pick up!
They offered a 2^nd pizza that never arrived!

Delicious pizza in bedstuy/​Clinton hill. It’s definitely a French style pizza, which is very unique but absolutely flavorful. They add little slabs of pesto to their slices which are cracker thin. The pepperoni is very different and huge. Definitely a try in the area. Only came here for takeout during lunch time. Will definitely come back!

The pizza is amazing, super thin crust crisped to perfection.
Try their La Nordique Salad — simply AMAZING.

I’ve been to Nice 3 times in the last three years of living in the area, and every time I’ve been 100% satisfied. Not wowed, but very satisfied.
The best way to eat here, which I’m sure they hate, is the Groupon! I don’t remember the exact price, but it was somewhere around $ 20 for 2 people — a large starting salad, any pizza of your choice (up to $ 25 value) and 2 glasses of wine.
We had the Sauv B and Pinot Noir — tasted like very average of both. Cool.
The salad was just that — some lettuce, a few cut up cherry tomatoes and a few nuggets of raw onion. With ranch on the side. Awesome.
The pizza was delicious. SUPER thin crust, like you can’t hold it like a slice and walk around with it– i used a fork or rolled it up into a lil pizza burrito. Our pizza had spicy sausage, chorizo, roasted red peppers, black olives and we added grilled onions. It was amazing.
and seriously delicious spicy olive oil at the table. omnomnomnom.
HOWEVER, this is not pizza I would recommend for buying by the slice or having delivery — I just feel like it doesn’t hold up the same as it does when it’s brought to your table.
Just my 2 cents — get the Groupon, go try it out with a friend. See how you feel about it.

Just don’t… I went here in a hangover hunger for a quick bite. ALL THE REGRETS.
Pizza sucks, no customers, weird vibe…

This is not NY pizza.
It was delivered on time, it was not cold and for that I gave 2 stars.
La Marguerite. .. . Cold under-​ripe tomatoes placed atop a cheese pizza is not what I was expecting.
I will leave it at that, as the old adage says «If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all».
Disclaimer _​Had I looked at the Unilocal review/​photos posted I wouldn’t have ordered here, that being said I didn’t! my roommate did and that was the first and last time.

CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP OWNER!
Its really such a shame too, as this place used be a solid place to grab a quick slice. However, over the past year, the quality has really gone downhill. Ingredients are far from fresh anymore as the owners have really tightened the purse strings on the whole operation.

Glad I gave this place a second chance, my first experience wasn’t the greatest, but the second one they really redeemed themselves and what I will say is that the pizza is so good that it definitely made me want to come back.
Ambience: it’s very nice in here… Cute checkered table clothes, dim lights and candles adorn each table. Perfect for a date night. The first time we came the owners were partying the night away and had loud music playing wasn’t so cozy but the second time it was so much better and quiet.
Food: Our first visit we came with a groupon which included a mixed green salad, two glasses of wine, and a large pizza. We decided to have the smoked salmon pizza it had mushrooms, capers, and heavy cream over the smoked salmon. (I know what your thinking smoked salmon on pizza??) trust me I was afraid too but it was divine!!! Our second visit we had the smoked salmon salad it was just about the tastiest salad I’ve had in like ever!!! This time we opted for the veggie pizza and added anchovies! It was so good! It had mozzarella, goat cheese, and Caramelized onions with fresh tomato slices on top! It was so fresh and delicious! I love the crust more than anything! It’s like a crisp buttery thin cracker!!! It’s really special!
So glad I gave this place a second chance! I would definitely be back to try more of their tasty pizza creations.
My only tip would be that the customer service can be a little off but it’s kinda worth it because the pizza is really fantastic!

Great service and delicious pizza with an amazing thin crust. ! I had the La Marguerite pizza. Yummmmm! Try the hot chilli oil on your salad. Gives it a kick! They also have dessert options. The Caramel Crème is great without being overly sweet.
Cool atmosphere and interesting selection of music makes for a great little outing. Plenty of seating as well.

Wanted to try this for a change. Love the cracker crisp crust. When they hand you the pizzas the box is so light it’s a little surprising. Tried the Caprese and Pepperoni. Both were great. Will definitely come again sometime but I it sucks how the prices are the same as most other pizza places that are much more filling.
