Jeff Samaniego Photography

I met Jeff when he was based in Singapore. I’ve seen his work in two different capacities: as a teacher, and as an event photographer.
My first experience with him was when I took his beginner photography class. When I bought my Canon DSLR, I knew it wouldn’t be any good unless I learned how to use it correctly, and when I stumbled across his event posting for casual photography, I figured it would be a great intro.
Jeff was very thorough with his explanations of how a camera works, and I was able to learn how to make the right adjustments (ISO, shutter speed, etc) to make my photos even better. Additionally, he gave me a few recommendations for lenses I could buy, based on what my photography interests were.
I really liked Jeff’s demeanor, so when it came time to hire an event photographer, I knew who to go to! Jeff did 3 events for me, was very timely with the delivery of the photos, and made me look good overall. :)
Whether it’s southeast Asia or the surrounding NYC area, I know Jeff will continue to shoot quality photos. You’d be lucky to work along side a guy like Jeff!

I’m so glad we found Jeff to do our pre wedding photo shoot. Thanks to my best friend who recommended him. We had our pictures taken in Central Park. The best part was that he just didn’t get down to business. He spent a good 5 minutes to get to know us and ease us. During the entire photo shoot he kept asking us if we were comfortable.
Now about the pictures, I believe Jeff was as excited as we were. He took some beautiful shots and tried to cover the entire Central Park. Of course, as an artist he knew what would look good in pictures but he made it a point that he asks us too about what we wanted.
I loved working with him. Not only is he a good photographer but also he’s a good kind hearted person. Had travelled a lot and has been featured a few travel magazines across the globe. If you chose him as a photographer, be assured you’re most beautiful moments will be captured and preserved.
