Get some falafel and go to Smith’s. This guy has some of the best and freshest falafel in the hood. He scoops each one fresh and fries it before your eyes!
The rice is hot and tasty, not dry and bland.
This guy is here through all weather conditions — a true Park Slope hero! Super nice, as well.

The food is standard Halal cart fare. It’s not amazing, but I love that they throw in a couple pickle slices and a banana pepper w/​my combo meal. I once showed up very late, right before closing, and the guy threw in some extra falafel balls & other goodies. I don’t go frequently, but sometimes you just NEEEEED chicken, lamb & rice under some white & hot!!! This place has saved been a late night oasis for me when I needed it most. Great operator (s), decent quality, and open late. Holla for Halal!
